Been with heroes before Granger took them over and I've been happy with them in the past few years. I even gladly recommended them to friends and family.
Recently, about a year ago, they start this new trend of trying to upsell and come up with problems that didn't exist. I fell for it a couple of times then i started getting a second opinion. Turns out that they always try to fool with unnecessary repairs and part replacements that were not needed.
I don't fault the technicians, I have a feeling management is forcing them to reach some sale quotas. In any case, the trust is broken and i went with someone else.

So Grangers is the former A1 Service Heros which we loved. Alot has changed! We had a leak in an outdoor pipe so we called for service. Since we are a member the service call was discounted. Long story shortened, we were charged as quoted BUT no itemized to reflect all costs of parts and service. When you're a member you get a discount. We followed up by email; no response. We sent a Google review; no response. Now we're going to yelp. The reason for the 2 star is the lack of response. Tech did not have the tools to complete job (shop vac to eliminate excess water from hole - used ours (with?!); When tech turned main water back on it was only halfway.). No answers to our inquiry in statement. We felt price gouged with an amateur service tech. Hopefully THIS will stimulate a response. We won't call them for service ever.

Example: My entire house needed repiping, and a few plumbing additions. They did a superior job in every facet of the job. A+++++

I'm sure the competition is stiff in this kind of business, and I'm sure there are other reputable companies like Granger's out there, but I've never seen such stellar work and craftsmanship.

Granger's is also very much in tune with customer service. Very important! They get it! All the boys that worked on my home were gentlemen. Every one!
Granger's management should be extra proud of their highly competent workers, who know what they're doing, and then some.

I never write reviews but can't help myself this time. I have been a loyal customer of this business since the previous owners opened it. For the past year and a half (since the current owner took over) my requests for service have resulted in no shows, numerous reschedules (at their request) and incomplete work because the proper tools weren't in the truck. Yesterday my a/c was serviced. At 7:30 tonight it went out. In spite if the fact that they advertise 24 hour service, the voice mail was full and I couldn't reach anyone or even leave a message. I will their billing department is very prompt. Clearly granger doesn't need or want my business. So disappointing.

Kayla was super responsive, answered all my questions, when it was time for the install she gave me a date & time that worked for us. Jaython arrived on time the day of install. He explained the process and how long it was going to take, he was so kind and went the extra mile making sure everything went according to plan. By the time I went to check on him, to offer him water & a bite to eat he had already demolished the old unit and was working on the old furnace. Later Brandon, then David came to help finish the job. The team all worked great together and were able to complete the install on time and with no problems. My a/c has never felt as cold as this one. I'm very appreciative of the work & time. Granger's is amazing and I highly recommend their services. Thank you
