Recommended Customer Reviews

Excellent customer service, friendly, prompt, great communication, but too expensive.
They charged me $650 to fix a sink. $175 for each of 2 valves and $300 to switch out a faucet. I bought the replacement faucet. For comparison, Space City plumbing charged me $400 for the exact same services. Both companies took about 2 hours to complete the job.
On another job they charged me $595 to replace the flange (I had already removed the toilet) and put the toilet back on. The job took about 1.7 hours. I didn't get a bid from another compny for this job, but $350 an hour seems really high. Hopefully I don't have any problems with the plumbing on either job, but if I do, I'll find another company to do it.

Big mistake in not getting a written quote! the final cost was $100 over the $295 verbal quote,. So $395 to replace kitchen faucet! They were polite and efficient.

This team really helped us when we were in a jam. They knew we were selling our house the VERY NEXT DAY, and that's when we noticed a leak. These guys drove all the way to Houston to get a part, came back and then finished the job quickly.

Requested quote for a sinking kitchen sink, quoted me $95 and asked if that was inclusive and reply was a period. But as soon as they arrived the plumber tells me it will be $195 instead. If it solved the problem it would be fine. But all they did was put in silicon between the sink and counter top, added two strips of support under the sink attached to the side board. After they were done, I was out of town for a week, upon return and used my kitchen sink for three days, the sink went down again!
Anything else I need to say about this job?

Received a phone call back with much better communication - thank you for taking the time to call

Our half bath sink was clogged and filling up from our AC Drain line. ( of course this happened late on a Friday night before we were to have my 12 yo daughter's birthday party the next day leaving the guest bath unusable) I put in an online request for the next day, I received an email confirming they would call me the next day. Brittani called me and had Hunter out very quickly. He was professional cleared up our drain, checked the AC lines and I also had him look at a our tankless hot water heater that was throwing a code. I scheduled for him to return and do annual maintenance on our HWH this week! Great to have great service from a local company!! Great job!!

I was having trouble with my water heater and assumed it needed replacing. The guys came out and evaluated the situation and were able to fix it without replacing it. I so appreciated the honesty and not selling me more than I really needed.
Everyone from Josh the owner, to the folks that answer the phone, to the the guys that showed up at my door were friendly and very professional.
Grand Slam is now my go to for all my plumbing needs and I will recommend them to everyone.

We used Grand Slam 3 times over the course of a month, because when it rains....surely it pours. We first re-piped the whole house. Justin and Fabian worked hard over about 3 days to get our house re-piped. They even went above and beyond to replace the sheetrock pieces they could to make our repairs easier. They were professional, polite, and efficient throughout their work. They cleaned up after themselves as much as they could, and didn't track dust throughout our house. No loud music, no cussing, very nice guys.
Then Fabian came back to fix a valve on a shower for us. Again, exceeded our expectations. He's so kind, explains things at a level us commoners can understand, and makes us feel comfortable with what he's doing.
Then our sewer line collapsed. Johnny and Steven came to evaluate it and guided us through the evaluation. Justin and Fabian came back for the work and a 6 day project was completed in 3 days! We were significantly impressed with the timeline. The excavation company Grand Slam outsourced to was very professional as well. They left our yard as clean as they could, cleaned up after themselves, and were very efficient in their work.
We also worked with Josh (the owner), Brittany (his wife), and Kelsey over the phone through all the scheduling of our projects. They were so receptive, always answered the phone, and very patient with our obvious overwhelm and frustration with our issues. Overall, so impressed with the group at Grand Slam. They're our go-to plumbers from now on. Except, we hope not to need them again too soon!!!

TLDR: poor office organization and late arrivals leads to frustrating experience. expensive.
called grand slam for my rental property on recommendation from a friend. 3 days before my appointment i called and asked if we could move the appointment from 10am to 9am to accommodate my tenants. they said sure, no problem, we would be first on the schedule. long story short. they don't show up. like at all. 9am, i went to the property to meet the plumber and nobody shows up. 9:45am i call and ask what the deal is, they say we are on the schedule for 10am, and that they were just about to call me to let me know they'll be there at 11:30. when i told them i had called earlier that week and confirmed a 9am slot, the office person stated "oh the other girl didn't leave any notes like that" ...errrr ok. at 2pm I get a call from my tenants saying no one has shown up!!! i call grand slam they say they had "an emergency" and had to turn off the water at someone else's property. ok, but like could you call? so a 9am appointment became 2:15pm.
They finally show up and do the work (so i thought), then they call me immediately to pay over the phone and say they'll send me an invoice.
a week goes by and no invoice. i have to call for an invoice. so annoying.
turns out they didn't actually fix the problem i called them out there for.
i don't have the time or patience to deal with poor organization/scheduling, or time management issues, and i expect most landlords/business owners don't either.
they knocked off $50 from the bill for "the headache" - but the bill was so sky high i barely noticed. much more expensive than other plumbers i've used.
the owner called and offered to come back and fix the problem they never actually fixed (or told me about) for an exorbitant price. i'll pass.

My water heater failed about 3 PM in the afternoon and started leaking everywhere. I called and they made it out before 5 PM on the same day to check it out.
They said they could have it replaced the next morning, which they did. Johnny and Mathew did a good job and cleaned up after themselves.
