This was a total rip off. For 2 hours of work of which 30 minutes was spent at Lowes, and 10 inches of PVC pipe the cost was $1,100. This wasn't even after hours service. Totally outrageous cost.

Company wasted two weeks of our life. I should have seen the red flags when they couldn't find the water cutoff valve and preceded to tell me the house didn't have one (same day the sprinkler guy found it within minutes). We were later provided a quote that literally left out every-single-repair we needed and was $1000-$2000 to have our pipes scoped and cleaned. Being that we just bought the house this was not at all what we needed. We should have cut the cord but we continued due to needing the shower faucets and sink stoppers repaired along with the sinks caulked and wanting to get these fixed sooner versus later. We then got another estimate that only noted the faucets so we called again and where told the sink at least was included (but we never got a clear answer) We were told it would take a few days (3 days) because the faucets were no longer being produced and would have to be ordered. I said that was fine and we would see them in a few days. Well, a few days came and went and when WE finally were able to get someone on the phone we were told it would be a few more days but we were confirmed for Friday. Thursday we called to confirm and were told the plumber (Alex) would call me that night but we were 100% confirmed for the next day. He of course doesn't call so we call that Friday morning and he tells us he will be there by 12:30........ 2:30 rolls around and he cancels and makes plans to be here today (Saturday) no later then 9:00am---at 11:00am we left them a voicemail that the cord was finally being cut which we should've done already. In short, if you are looking for an unreliable, inept, incompetent company that is ill-equipped to handle even the most basic of plumbing services and you want to call them 20+ times without getting a clear answer or concrete date/time of service.... well, this company is for you! If not, please don't waste your time! UPDATE: After the fiasco with Grand Rooter, we were referred to Terry's Plumbing who made themselves available that following Monday, arrived on-time, charged us half of what this company charged (including everything we needed that was seemingly lost in translation with this company) and completed the work that very day. I will be writing a very positive review for Terry's Plumbing who I highly recommend. Shame on you, Grand Rooter!

Thank you (Alex) for the amazing work you did for us. I would highly recommend Grand Rooter for any of your plumbing issues. Alex and his team explained our situation extensively, walked us through every step of our service, and did an extremely professional job. Many issues were encountered with our plumbing situation, but after three long days and long hours, the problem was fixed and our bathroom looks great. Truly highly recommended.

Outstanding workmanship, expertise and customer service from dispatcher to plumber to the supervisor! Best service and experience with a plumbing company i have had in 10+ years hands down! First, when i called the dispatcher she actually had experience and could speak intelligently on the subject. All others i called had no expertise or knowledge of any kind and were nothing more than """"phone call answers"""". This lady was able to give me a ball park estimate that proved on the mark and she was able to explain why using them was better than the competition. She explained plumbing processes and procedures that they use versus others. I could see they had more expertise than most. Their customer service was superior to others as they kept me informed. Phoning to confirm appointment and texting me when only 30 minutes away. Arriving on time. Plumbers were very professional in appearance and had excellent communication skills. They explained everything and gave me options. They voluntarily provided me with the replaced parts and had a book of prices---very uniform and nothing hidden. We felt the prices were fair and reasonable. We inspected the work together and I saw they fixed it correctly the first time. They cleaned up their work space too. Their supervisor Alex, went the extra mile in his helpfulness, suggestions and seeing to a seamless and quality job! Also, they are a """"true"""" 24/7 service with NO emergency service up-charge! Also, NO service charge just to show up! Huge advantage! I knew this company had integrity! Rarely do you find a company superior at everything! This one is! One more thing. I asked the supervisor how he liked working for Grand Rooter. He said, """"I LOVE it and I love plumbing""""! His technician assistant separately said the same thing! Now, that is """"passion"""" that you cant buy. It is organic and priceless AND probably why the Grand Rooter customer experience was so exceptional! I rate them """"AAA+""""; HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! (We have become a life long customer!!!)

I paid $380 for this company to rebuild the system in my toilet. Now everyone I know is telling me I got ripped off because that's way too expensive. The company only gives you 30 day warranty. 5 months later, the handle breaks and my toilet is broken again. I called to see if they would help me and nothing. I will never use them again! My boyfriend is doing the repairs himself and the parts are less than $100.
