Zero stars. They texted me the day before that they will be coming Saturday Nov 30 from 8-10. They call me at 9:30 Saturday morning to tell me there was a misunderstanding and will be coming Monday instead. Not dependable.

They came to my house for a tune up and the guy told me my air conditioning unit was dead. we decided to call another company and they show us the cables inside the unit were disconnected to make us think was not working, but was just a scam. Be aware.

DO NOT USE GRAND COMFORT AND PLUMBING!!!
Extremely high costs for very little effective work and there are at least 3 LIARS in a company of less than 50 people, (per LinkedIn profile). $1200 cost for 2 hours of work & the only repair was a toilet tank valve that done in the 1st 15 minutes.
Their receptionists (Nicole and some other woman) listen to my complaints. I had to call 4 times, repeating my situation over and over. The ladies say they will call me back after they see what they can find out. No calls. No responses which would make their receptionists LIARS.
1) the call/text/email all claimed the plumber would arrive between 8-10a. Plumber was late. I followed up at 10:30a. He arrived at 10:45a. I had be on a conference call by 11a. Walked thru the toilet tank, 2nd floor guest bath/kitchen ceiling leak and master bath shower rust stain. In the 15 minutes before my call, he did an assessment and said he would charge $400+ for the master shower to investigate, $400+ for the leak from the 2nd floor to the kitchen ceiling and $300+ to fix the toilet. Nearly $1200 total. I was done with my call by 11:18a, he had fixed the toilet tank. $300 for a simple replacement that was done in less than 15 minutes. That's a very expensive hourly rate. But it gets worse!
2) I had rust water stains in the master shower basin and didn't know if it was on the surface or behind the tile. Clayton Mckimmy, the plumber broke thru 1 1/2 slate tiles 18 inches x 12 inches, mortar to reach the insulation. Saw that there was no leak stains behind the slate or in the insulation and he stopped. Clayton claimed that the leak was due to a bad shower valve, which is 4 feet higher than the hole he made. The current valve is made by Grohe. Clayton said it was top of the line. I questioned, why would the top of the line brand go bad after 10 years? Clayton said, he didn't know. But, Clayton recommended I buy a completely new shower head, valve, etc. by Moen for $800, excluding his labor charges which would be an incremental $800. Clayton said, ""I don't make the prices"" at least twice. (Hint: don't trust that line.) Later that day, an engineer friend, did a quality control check for me on Clayton's work & found there are NO water stains in the insulation. IF the shower valve was broken, the insulation would have had water stains. Which means Clayton was trying to scam me, another LIAR. The shower valve was functioning perfectly fine. It would have cost me more money for the demolition, a new shower valve, plus the remodeling costs for new tiles, mortar and grout.
3) The 2nd water leak was from the 2nd floor thru to the kitchen ceiling, water was seeping thru the ceiling. Clayton punched a 4 inch x 4 inch hole behind the guest sink, ran the water. No leaks. Clayton said he needed to get a ladder from his truck. I said I had one in the basement. I made the trip easier for him. But during my complaint, I find out that the convenience of the ladder I provided justified them charging me exorbitant costs for the investigation. Clayton proceeds to punch holes thru my ceiling, water came thru, drywall was soaked. Looked at the plumbing pipes. No leaks. Searched the furnace in the attic, due to a humidifier. Basin was dry. However, Clayton pitched his side business to provide fans/dryers whatever in case there was mold. Bottom line, he could not find the cause. There went another $400+ for investigation and no resolution.
Lastly, KARMA...every action has an equal and opposite reaction. It's a universal law of physics! The lies & lack of integrity with 6% (at minimum) of the individuals of this company will bounce back either to the company or to the individual. For every person they have wronged, KARMA will bounceback in the form of massive costs, failures to communicate and lies that they have inflicted on innocent homeowners that are looking for honesty, integrity & fair workmanship. Maybe, the Millennials or China or India with their billions of people will invent a new service that drives drastic change across the U.S. plumbing industry. Like an Uber service that replaced taxi drivers for plumbers. Improve rates, improve service. And eliminate the seediness within the plumbing individuals that causes people to cringe every time some says plumber.

I had a sewer problem on a weekend and went through Home Advisor. Grand Comfort was one of the first to contact me and was the first to set and apt to look at the problem. They were out the next morning to address the sewer problem. They dug the old pipe, replaced clogged pipe. They left the yard in descent shape considering all the digging done. Issues came up and the President of the Company was very concerned about resolving any problems. All issues were resolved.

We are going through the sale of our home and the inspector noted that he was unsure about potential water intrusions in the basement. Rafael came out and was able to do a complete inspection. He was very professional and was able to talk through what he saw versus the inspectors noted issues. This helped us to show that waterproofing was not required, saving us that expense. It is great to have someone come out and tell you that you DON'T need their service. Thank you, Rafael!

An update to my previous review: More damage was done to the house and still not completed in full (8 weeks later). I paid them in full with full trust they would complete and when they couldn't be bothered and kept sending someone very incompetent who really didn't know what was doing and didn't do much, i reversed through my credit card company one of the charges, and now they want to put a lien for not doing all the works per the contract in full!!!! that's not the way to do business, they definitely won't be in business for long if they continue this and threaten their customers. Rafael has a really bad attitude and always blaming instead of taking responsibility! I will be filing a complaint with IDFPR as they did not even get a permit in Maxim's (licensed plumber) name. Absolutely horrible and worst experience!!!

I had a big problem with a garbage disposal drain clog. A friend and I tried the baking soda, vinegar, and hot water fix to little avail, and we also tried the Drano fix, with a ""safe for garbage disposal pipes"" comment, to little avail also, and much water & junk in my double sink. Then my friend tried his augur (he's a handyman), which helped a little more... However, the sinks were STILL full, so I went on Angie's List and received a few suggestions to use. Grand Comfort Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning actually received info on me, and called me! At first, the scheduler said they couldn't get to my house until the next day, but an hour or two later, Julie called up and said they COULD come out later. It turned out that they had an emergency in Chicago, so they scheduled me for first appointment this morning. Originally, I thought it would be $200 at most, yet when Javier(?) and Artur(?) saw the double sink, they said it would be $250 per sink, yet since they couldn't be here yesterday, they took off $100. Just to make sure, I'll be checking other companies prices. I NOW know MANY items NOT to put down the disposal! I didn't get a receipt, I will soon receive an email. Last Monday, July 1, my home's air conditioning unit was not working and decided to contact your company after seeing positive reviews on Yelp.

Once the technician arrived, after a half hour, he had tightened a power cable that was not being connected properly.

Once the air conditioning unit was fixed, he
told me to touch the gas pipe of the air conditioning unit, saying it was warm.

He proceeded to say that it needed refilling and that the R22 gas tank is expensive,
gas tank price is $1,000.

so to refill my gas pipe, it would cost about $300. For payment, he said if I paid him $300 in cash, that he would refill it.
He saying
This deal is between you and me.
I feel little weird but i said yes.

After finishing the
next year, the unit may need changing because it is old and to call his personal number instead of the company. I soon realized that your employee had scammed

job, I filled out a check of $69.99 for the company. The technician said that he would give me a discount of $50 and charged me $250 in cash. He also said that should be able to come back to your company when I have a problem next time.

How should I be able to trust and come back to your company when I have a problem next time.

Also i think we did not have to refill gas
Because our air was chili.
When air condition unit start working obviously
Warm.
