The owner is very nice and helpful. 9/10 times his products were fine. The only problem I had was getting areplacement for a pull tab I was missing when I put new screen mesh on. The missing tab was metal, but all he had were plastic/Chinese replacements which didn't work at all. Overall, I like this place as I don't going to DIY is out of the way and time consuming. We should give him buisness so that his store doesn't disappear like the three small Empire Hardware stores that have closed down in the 38 years I've lived in Granada Hills.

Convenience in our neighborhood. While the store is small, it has a little bit of everything. I've gone in on three occasions. I was able to find mortar, sprinkler parts, and drill attachments. I would much rather go into this business, than one of the huge hardware stores for everyday needs. Great service and you can support a small business.

It was just before closing time when I called Granada Hills Hardware and asked if they had a Delta shower faucet cartridge. The man on the phone told me he did, so I got there in time to buy it. When I got there, he opened the package further (as it was already opened) to compare the two- and he said it would work. It didn't.

I went back to the store and told the owner that the one he sold me was incorrect. When I asked for a refund, he stated that ""there was a part missing from the top."" It was not missing anything. The model he sold me was slightly smaller in length and was the incorrect part number according to Lowe's (which did sell me the correct part).

I told him it wasn't missing any parts, but he called me a liar. He saw the item was new and unused, proving him wrong. When that didn't work, he said he won't refund it because the package was opened. It was... by him. I watched him open it. He called me a liar again.

I went to my bank and disputed the charges- and was told I'd be issued a refund, and Granada Hills Hardware will have the charges reversed.

Nobody likes to be called a liar. It could've been real easy, but your pride got in the way when you didn't like to be proven wrong. Now, I get to keep the cartridge, and a refund of $59.12 through my bank... and you get to keep a 1 star yelp review. Was it worth it?

The owner is very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. We were in and out in less than 10 minutes. It was super nice to have someone who knows their stuff and is willing to help.

Went in for some keys today. Friendly, courteous, timely service. I bought some other stuff and will be bringing in some screens that were mangled by potential burglars, (vacant house).
It's so nice to have a small private hardware store in the neighborhood just like the old times. Don't expect them to have everything that you need. They are a small place. But if you would like these kinds of establishments to offer alternatives to the HDs of the world, you need to support them.

Love that they wear masks. Found booties and disposable masks today. They have plenty! So sorry that they have to deal with the a holes who don't respect the mask mandate. In any case, the people who work there are all friendly and lovely and extremely helpful.

I just ""found"" this place. It is packed with everything I'll likely ever need. If not they said they could order items. However, due to the coronavirus pandemic deliveries of some items have become unpredictable. The store is well organized, well laid out, and items are easy to find. The people running the store and friendly and helpful as well. I found what I was looking for and I'll be back.
