Broke the seal on my sump pump in order to drain my old water heater. I called and the owners wife said there's no way that we could have done that. The owner's wife...not the plumber. I asked could she also confirm that the plumbers didn't throw rust in my lawn when removing the old heaters. They were on their hands and knees picking rust out of my lawn because I caught them in action doing it. She had the audacity to tell me to shut my mouth. What an absolute unprofessional joke. Please do not support this lame company. Rude and unprofessional.

Beware of this company. Owner is unprofessional in dealing with customer complaints. Grade A Plumbing actually does not have a customer service manager, if you have a problem you deal with the owner..... I have contacted the Better Business Bureau in order to have my report/invoice corrected. Here's the story:
The technician who was at my home for a toilet back up, did not troubleshoot at all, was at my property for 10 minuets, filled a report out and submitted to my warranty company, with the EXACT opposite of what I said.""Home owner also stated son dropped non flush-able wipes in the toilet which clogged the unit"" I never said this, I said my son COULD of flushed FLUSH-ABLE wipes in the toilet, but I guess Grade A will never know, because they didn't properly troubleshoot. Waste of time, and money. Crazy that a company can falsify a report.I actually have an email from Adam Resnick (owner) stating the manager had the tech report this, even though this is not what I said.
Literally one of the worst experiences I have had.....
Stay far away.

This company came to my home back in April through my home warranty program for my water heater that was leaking water and a leaking kitchen faucet. The technician looked at the water heater and spent more time on the phone in his van than in my home. He never attempted to service the faucet and made arrangements to return after I paid an additional $400 on top of the deductible paid and the monthly amount to my warranty company.
I have called a total of 12 times from my cell phone to find out the status and get clarity as to why nothing was fixed. The first time the receptionist Kristin answered she assured a return call from her boss and to date I'm still waiting. Today I called from a blocked number and she picked up on the first ring. Claimed she had no record of my calls and/ or messages. She assured I would get a call back from her boss Adam. Well... here we are hours later and nothing. I called back and she picked the phone up and hung up on me. Thank goodness the Better Business Bureau was on the line as well. DO NOT use this company, they are scammers and I'm not the first person to contact BBB in regard to their poor customer service.

AHS contracted Grade A plumbing to replace our leaking water heater. Grade A tech came up with additional charges of $390. (replacing shutoff vale, he called code upgrade $250 and adding flexible gas pipe, he called it gas line modification.) The worst part is that he put in to replace pressure tank which is completely functional and only a few months old. This is fraud, he is charging AHS to replace parts that are functional. The rep called and told me she will not schedule replacement unless we agree to pay $390 in addition to replacement fee from AHS. I asked to speak to the manager, she refused and told me manager does not discuss prices. Tech refused to stop the leaking water heater and told me to do it myself.

Grade A Plumbing is not reliable if they need to return to fix an issue. The first appointment I made on April 28, 2020, Ken came out and was great. He came out and repaired the one leak under my kitchen sink and said that the second leak and faucet issue will be fixed when they replace the faucet. I asked if they could let me see the one that they would be ordering so that I didn't have them show up and say after the fact that I did not like it. The one that was shown to me was not the right faucet type. I called and left more messages than one should ever have to for a contractor to come out to finish the repair. I called my home warranty, AHS (they are equally terrible), who also reached out to Grade A Plumbing who said they were going to reach out to me, that never happened. Then in the beginning of May, I finally spoke to someone, Crystal, from Grade A Plumbing but she was absolutely horrible and rude. She said that the notes said that they were waiting to hear from me to order the faucet when I went to explain to her that is not correct and no one has returned my call and the faucet that they showed me wasn't the right one, she started yelling at me, telling me that she just returned from being out of work, something about her boss, and a pregnancy. How is any of that my problem?! On top of which it is absolutely unprofessional. I ended the call because it was completely uncalled for! I also couldn't help but think given what is going on around the world right now, you should be happy and grateful that you were asked to return to work, myself and million of Americans have not been that lucky but you're right you returning back to work and issues with your boss is definitely more important than my leak when you are a plumbing company. No one ever reached out to schedule the appointment. It is May 19, 2020 and I still have the leak and issue with my faucet. Thankfully, I have a new contractor coming out so I can be done with Grade A Plumbing. But beware....do not use this company!

Run! These folks are scammers!
I had two leaking faucets and my home insurance company (American Home Shield) sent Grade A. I read the reviews so I wasn't excited, but the leaks were so simple (leaky nozzles), what could go wrong, right? Wrong!
The Grade A technician came to our house and checked out the faucets. He also inspected the basement (no issues there), our tankless water heater, and went outside to check the water pressure. When he came back, he said the water pressure was too high, 100 psi, and the max was 80. He later sent us a quote for $850 to install a pressure regulator by our tankless water heater to solve the problem. These expense was out of pocket because AHS wouldn't cover the leaking faucets if the cause of the problem was the water pressure.
Long story short, we called our own plumber to check the water pressure, and he showed us the reading - 60 psi. It was perfect. More important, he explained that tankless water heaters DO NOT need pressure regulators. You use those next to an expansion tank in traditional water heaters. So, double whammy.

Before you use this Plummer check their Better Bussiness Bureaus rating (.Grade F) for poor customer service and work ethics. I made the mistake not checking this. I needed a water heater replaced days before Christmas, it's now a day before NYE and I'm still waiting. I understand things happen however after waiting hours passed the appoint while patiently maintaining contact with them for status, the Plummer's never arrived yet claimed I was not responding. Several days later they contacted me to reschedule and erroneously claimed The plumber tried to reach me and waited for me to call him for 30 min. I waited 4 hours past the scheduled appointment and attempted to call the Plummer directly who continued to send my call to voice mail. Something I considered highly unprofessional . Instead of trying to resolve this issue and listen to the customers she hung up and refused to answer any of my calls claiming I was being rude. I will admit I was frustrated at a lost day and mainly at the Plummer for lying he waited for me. The mistake was not listening to a simple request not to keep me waiting all day again and claiming I was lying. All this after I had proof after receiving an email with an invoice from the Plummer ( Mathew O'Grady) claiming the work was completed .

It became clear why they were assigned a Grade F . I would not recommend this company look into them before hiring them. There are many complaints regarding this company.

Please use another company. Don't waste your time or money on them. They find ways to over charge you, find loop holes in warranties and charge you again, and insult you at the same time under your own roof. Next I'm writing to the BBB about them. They need shut down.

I had all of the flaps replaced on my toilets over a year ago by Grade A Plumbing. The water kept running in one of the toilets and although we were past the one year warranty, Ken from Grade A Plumbing very graciously repaired the toilet at no cost to me. I highly recommend them!

Had the pleasure of working with this company through American Home Shield. We had a water dripping from a cracked pipe that is within the walls behind the hot water heater.

The cost to disconnect the hot water heater for diagnosis - $295.
The cost to disconnect the hot water heater for repair - another $295.

I paid them $345 to disconnect the water heater and not to put it back until they complete the repair. Now they wanted an additional $650 to ""access"" the pipe because the pipe that has the crack is connected to another pipe. I am not aware of any homes with just one continuous pipeline. What do I know!

I had previously worked with this company outside of American Home Shield (AHS) and found them to be reasonable. It looks like Grade A Plumbing knows how to exploit the system and work the loophole when a client goes through AHS. I can do very little to fight this as AHS is equally horrible! My hope is that this review will help potential clients make a smarter decision.

P.s. Still waiting for a copy of my invoice and the diagnosis. I guess scamming becomes a bit more difficult when things are written on paper.
