Unreachable, Broken Promises, Subpar Work

I hired Pat from Grace Mechanical through my contractor last year for plumbing work. Despite having a clear scope and agreement, the contractor's delays meant that one item was left incomplete. We paid approximately $5k for the services rendered and agreed to complete the remaining item this summer.

While most of the work was satisfactory, Pat failed to properly seal my sink drainage during a conversion from two drains to one. As a result, water and food shoot up from the drain when I use the garbage disposal.

This year, I've reached out to Pat almost daily via call or text for over a month. He rarely answers the phone and occasionally responds with vague promises to call back, which he never fulfills. He contacted me once, stating he needed to check his calendar and would call back to schedule a time. That was weeks ago, and I haven't heard from him since.

I've attached proof of the shoddy sink drain work and examples of the unprofessional communication I've experienced. As a paying client, this treatment is unacceptable and highly unprofessional.

Pat from Grace was awesome. He came out on a Saturday and spent more than a half a day troubleshooting our second floor system. In the end, the air conditioning works flawlessly and there is zero humidity. I highly recommend Pat and Grace Mechanical.

Last year we called 3 plumbers 1 never showed up. We needed a shower head installed outside. Each estimate was triple what Grace quoted. Pat came out did the job no problem.
Called him this year because my AC was on the fritz. He showed right up. Replaced the unit on July 4th. Charged me less than the original unit that another contractor installed 6.5 years ago. (Out of warranty 9 months) then he went up in my attic to fix my thermostat that i just paid another contractor to fix. At no charge i might add. Nicest guy ever. Will never use another plumber/HVAC contractor

Couldn't be happier with Pat @ Grace Mechanical. Both times I have needed an emergency service call he was at my house the same day to fix the problem, even within an hour of my calling him. Professional, courteous and reasonable - he isn't trying to bulk up the invoice and sell you things you don't need. He was even willing to come after normal hours which was perfect so I didn't need to leave work early to meet him. His maintenance plan offers peace of mind and a reasonable option to keep my older unit up and running! I would recommend Grace Mechanical to anyone!!
