They might quote you a great price but be careful. We have found 3 issues and had to rip our drywall out. They forgot to add caps when the pipes were supposed to end, they didn't seal up holes and they have NO idea how to install radiant heating. I have no idea how these guys are still in business. Crooks and unprofessional. All the plumbers I've had over to fix these issues are in shock that these were ""professionals"" who did this. Do not use!!!

These guys are criminals! Stay away!
""Andy Bohning'' tried to bilk us out of $1400 dollars!

Replaced a water heated and refused to provide an itemized bill of parts and services for reimbursement from manufacturer.

His response: ""it's not my job to provide an itemized bill. I'm too busy""

I'm sure that the 'NJ State League of Master Pllumbers' would like to know his explanation for not providing an itemized bill, which should only take 5 minutes max.

What a train wreck! I showed up unexpectedly to check up on the progress of the plumbers during lunch. When I walked into the kitchen, I saw a line of cocaine on my new marble counter tops and caught 4 of the workers smoking a joint in the backyard. Cancelled the contract, and kicked the workers out. Andy left unlicensed plumbers working unsupervised. It's a violation of construction codes. Later on the new plumbers found a heroin needle hidden in one of the pvc pipes I had ordered. New plumber had to start over because GPH employees couldn't read blueprints. They almost plumbed my hot water to my toilet in the new guest bathroom!

I notified Consumer Affairs to start an investigation.

Arrogant, sloppy, low quality work. NEVER NEVER CALL THEM!

Used GPH for my build on recommendation.

Arrogant, sloppy, bad attitude, and incompetent. The owner thinks he is God's gift to plumbers, and treats his customers like idiots.

The radiant heating in my master bath. He connected it to the 2 other bathrooms on my second floor, with the thermostat in my LARGE master bath with 2 outside walls. Well, when the heat kicks on in the master bath, the other 2 bathrooms get so hot, my kids burn their feet on the floor! so we keep the heat so low that we freeze in the winter, and the kid's floor still gets super hot. During the build, i told ANDY the owner that will happen, but in his wisdom dismissed it, and said, no, it'll be fine.

They recently replaced a hot water tank, and when they connected the wiring for the Aquastat, they did it all wrong, and the boiler would not stop. thermostat was set to 120, but thermometer showed 188. the water was so hot that it cross heated some of the cold pipes just by proximity, so my cold lines were sending hot water too! They refused to take responsibility, and have blocked me from calling, texting or emailing.

I paid another plumber $200 to fix his mistake

Plus, the ""Licensed plumber"" rarely shows up on the jobs, its just his laborers who have poor training doing the work, with rarely any verification.

Avoid the Bright Yellow Vans at all cost!

Terrible plumbing service!

We didn't have a choice in using them because the builder of our house had chosen them to do our plumbing system. Their bad work has cost us thousands of dollars in repairs. Leaks from their work has led to big damages at our property.

Very dismissive, rude, and unfriendly service. Anyone in Bergen County, I advise you to use someone else for your plumbing needs.

Here are 3 reasons why you SHOULDN'T use GPH Plumbing.

1. Low quality work. We've moved into a new construction where plumbing was done by GPH. In the first year we have knocking pipes, leaking pipes, failing boiler, clogged boiler room drain, failed heated floors in master bedroom.

2. They don't care about their customers. None of the problems above have been fixed in 4 times they've been at our house. Every single time there was either an excuse or assurance that ""it will work"" Not once they've bothered to actually investigate a problem. In every instance they glanced over and proclaimed there is no issue. Knocking pipes: house settling. Failing boiler: electronics is finicky. Clogged boiler room drain: not our fault (but you are the plumbers!). Heated floors: it takes time to heat up, so it will work after we leave. Never did.

3. They are unfriendly and actually hostile. I've had an owner yell at me for calling his cell phone number. Had them screen my calls, when they wouldn't pick up from my cell number, but had no problem answering from my work number. They went out of their way to show they don't want to stand by their work.
