I had a whole house water filter that developed a minor drip. It wasn't an emergency, but I wanted to see about getting a date to fix it in the next week or 2 before it becomes a major leak. I called one plumber, left a message on their generic voicemail, never got a call back. So, a friend recommended Gouthro.

I called in the morning and my info was taken by the nice lady that answered the phone. Greg called me back around noon. He said it sounded like an easy repair and would be in the area that afternoon, if I was home they could stop by. I was & they did. Fixed in about 15 mins. easy-peasy.

Believe me, I'm keeping their info in my contacts for any future plumbing issues. I highly recommend them.

Great Service. Greg came out to my house in Abington and helped repair a shower valve in a really tight space. He was early on the day of our appointment, extremely courteous and very fast. Great service and I would highly recommend to anyone on the south shore.

I had a dripping faucet from my bathroom sink. I shut off the hot valve under the sink, and the drip stopped. When I turned the valve back on, the valve itself was now leaking. The house had old plumbing so now I had a bad shut-off valve and a leaking faucet. Bought the parts myself and when I was trying to remove the old corroded valve from the pipe, the pipe broke inside the wall. I called Gouthro around 4pm and received a call back from Greg, the owner. Greg told me he'd swing by in the evening to assess the situation and see what he may need in order to get the job done. Turns out, he was able to come up with a solution while here and had the pipe repaired in about an hour. I was not looking forward to the bill, but the bill was way less than I had expected. I do appliance repair for a living so I know how it is to be out late. And even when I said he can schedule for a later day, he noted he's busy the next few days so opted to come this evening so I wouldn't have to wait or leave the hot water off to the bathroom sink. Greg was very personable, and it was an all around great service. I'll be calling Greg for any future service and will be recommending him to friends and family.
