If you're looking for quality work and a reputable business, look elsewhere. The pair of ""plumbers that came to my house numerous times used my tools and equipment I had instead of using Got Pipes equipment! One of the guys barely did any work and would complain about the smell when the poop pipe was opened, and he did that all three times (must be a master plumber who cares about his job).. they destroyed my wet vac and covered it in doodoo. Would have been fine if they fixed the headache issue, I was dealing with, but that was not the case. They came to my house 3 times within a two-week span and never fixed or found the problem. They would say the typical ""oh, it was just a clog, but it is good now"" and run away with their $100 tip! They then stopped responding to my calls/messages and the issue is still not fixed. I initially spent $2000 to have pipes installed by them about a year ago and used them again when this issue started happening because we never had any issues or leaks prior to them installing the new pipes.

*You should definitely sign up with Got Pipes if you like paying top dollar, being ignored, having your household equipment used and enjoy having an ongoing issue that never gets fixed!

How are there no reviews yet? Got Pipes is THE BEST plumbing and heating service in the area without question.

My house has had spotty heat since I moved in, but I didn't own it until December 2021. As usual, the first very cold night of the year led to the heat going off, and I'd always called another local business for that problem. The other business would come out, tinker with the thermostat, charge me $225 and leave without fixing anything.

A friend recommended Got Pipes, and number one, this company is very friendly and very responsive. I didn't realize how uncommon that was until I encountered it, and not having proper heat on cold days is the worst. So that's excellent.

Second, on the very first visit, Eric came within like an hour and immediately explained the problem to me - that if the pipes froze, the heat would not work. In the dozens of visits from the company I used to use over the years, no one ever said anything about that.

But I want to mention an experience that was really unusual. I had an inspector tell me I needed to lift up the boiler to pass an inspection, and he warned me it was costly. Once again, I called Got Pipes, Eric came out, and he insisted it was properly installed and that this was an unnecessary expense/risk. He even told me that if the inspector pressed it, to give the guy his number.

The inspector DID press it, but the inspector's supervisor reviewed the finding and realized it was properly installed and already to code. I am so lucky I wasn't using the previous company, because it would have cost me a ton of money unnecessarily and likely would have required a complete replacement too.

A month or so ago, I needed a vanity replaced and a tap fixed. Even though this was not an emergency, the vanity was outside and too heavy for me to move. And again, they came out really fast and installed the vanity and did an excellent job. (Pricing is insanely reasonable, from a person with not a lot of disposable income.)

Being so new to owning a house, learning about and finding service people is difficult and scary, and often you don't know beforehand if initiating a service call has a baseline cost of a few hundred dollars (even if nothing is fixed). I'm no longer apprehensive about addressing problems/maintenance or replacing things, because plumbing and heating are such a big part of home maintenance and I know a great company can handle it.
