We are so grateful to Goss Plumbing. He came out on the same day we called and replaced the sump pump. There was a lot of water from Hurricane Ida down in the crawl space because the old sump pump had failed. For days I've been trying to get someone to come but other plumbers didn't return my calls.
Mr. Goss said he would have put it off until next week but there's another big storm coming tonight and he didn't want to leave without help. Amazing!

We were remodeling a bathroom and needed rough in as well as final plumbing - shower head, sink faucet, toilet install. He did a great job!! Made sure everything was done perfectly (when does that happen?) and cleaned up after everything was done. Also helped me with a couple of small plumbing issues - fixed them in 5 minutes. I would highly recommend John and would use him anytime I have a plumbing need. I am a very satisfied customer!!

We had a leak on a radiator line under the floor in the concrete slab. This was discovered 6 days before settlement of our home. Two other plumbers/HVAC contractors came out to diagnose the issue without resolution. John Goss arrived and immediately diagnosed the issue and started repairing the leak, this was on a Saturday. He did not charge a ridiculous service call fee ($150)! John was efficient, professional and clean. You couldn't tell he was ever there working. He is a true life saver!!!

My gas had to get shutoff on Friday for a gas leak. I called the plumber I used in the past to fix the problem. I never heard back and with the weekend approaching I knew it would be tough to find someone. We survived til Monday and started looking online for other plumbers in our area. When we found Goss they answered and said they'll send someone in 30-45 minutes. The plumber showed up as advertised and was courteous and friendly. He diagnosed the problem and went to the supply store. He came back and had the pipes fixed by lunchtime. After a final leak check everything was good and he left the area he worked in just like he found it. It was a relief to have our gas up and running again as we were out of hot water, not to mention a lot of takeout over the weekend. Their prompt, professional, and quality service was greatly appreciated. I will definitely use Goss Plumbing and Heating for any future plumbing needs.

I was happy they could come on short notice, BUT my problem was a clogged kitchen sink and in trying to clear it myself I found the piece of the drain where the J Bend connects was rusted and needed to be replaced. Without specifically asking they replaced more than just that one $20 piece for a total of $132 in parts and the job including clearing the original block took 3 hours at a labor charge of $120 per hour for a total bill of $497. I feel ripped off.

The man I spoke with on the phone was friendly and able to get someone to come out to help me promptly with a simple sump pump leak. However, I told him I wanted to also get an estimate for a few projects at the same time -- yet the man who came out was unable to do that. Also, I was charged $155 for only 40 minutes of work (no parts needed) which seems excessive and inaccurate considering he told me they charge $125/hour for labor. Evidently they start charging you when they dispatch from wherever they are driving from? That doesn't seem right at all.

Therefore, the problem is fixed (yay) but I was overcharged for what was done.. and still don't have estimates for the other things I had mentioned I hoped to get done. But now it's very unlikely I'll call back to find out, since I feel ripped off at the small task. Probably won't use them again due to this. Bummer, since they were so nice on the phone and the ratings were so good. Still looking for a fair plumber I feel I can trust.

John Goss fixed out kitchen plumbing issue a while ago and fit us in same day we called when our air conditioning died. He's very professional, very nice, very reliable and extremely pleasant to work with. Anyone would be very lucky to have him for their plumbing and HVAC problems. was in need of a plumber to install a water softener. called many and Goss was the first to get back to me.they came out same day and got it installed right way. set up the W S and showed me how to put salt in. price was a bitter higher than what i thought but we all know plumbers are expensive. good service will be using them again ( i hope not any time soon ).
