The unit I am renting had a giant leak in the kitchen ceiling from the upstairs shower. The entire shower unit, old pipes, portion of the kitchen ceiling and kitchen flooring needed to be replaced. The employees from Gorsuch took care of everything. The shower and flooring came out beautifully. My roommates and I dealt with Brent the most. He was always professional and very personable. He was always in contact to let us know when he would be arriving and kept us up to date. Eric was also very friendly and professional. Those guys worked their tails off, in the heat, in order to get the job completed. Plus, they always cleaned up after themselves even if they were returning the next day. Matthew was also a pleasure to deal with. He would pop in to check on the job and always showed care and concern. Needless to say, I am happy that my landlord chose Gorsuch as our ""go to"" plumbing company!

Victor and Brent came in to do some work on the pipes. They did their work quickly and cleaned up after themselves as well. They were also polite and introduced themselves when they came in. I would definitely recommend them.

Somehow a neighbor had gotten into a building panel and turned off a water valve that serviced our unit! Gorsuch Plumbing had been there to give the neighbor a quote and noticed the closed valve. They notified me and then tried their darnedest to go back and turn it back on (over a weekend). They did all this even though there was nothing in it for them. They contacted the bldg management, came to my unit and checked things out, and eventually gained access to the trouble-making neighbor's unit and turned on the water for me, all as courtesy ! I will use them from now on for any plumbing needs that may come up.

The management company that handles our HOA's business sent out a plumber one day. Seems that one of my neighbor's garage had a leak in the ceiling. They wanted to see if it came from my shower, so they checked it out. I heard nothing back for a couple of weeks, when they again show up unannounced to check on the leak again. Luke this time, who has a vaunted 40 years of plumbing experience. Anyway, the first guys never found the source of the leak, and had to come back to check again, as my neighbor who's bathroom is on the other side of mine wasn't home the first visit, so they couldn't check his bathroom.
So, water is run in the shower, much fuss is made, and no water comes down in the neighbor's garage. But Luke, in his infinite wisdom, sees my shower door's seal is a little deteriorated at the bottom. Somehow, this indicates that water is escaping from my shower, pooling on my bathroom floor, and leaking down to the garage. Seems odd, as the floor of that bathroom isn't wet after the shower is used. There does seem to be signs of leakage under my bathroom floor though. Luke offers zero advice on how to address this, advising that a contractor should come and replace the shower door.
I take out the shower door, and replace it with a curtain. Still no water getting out of the shower.
I hire a well reviewed plumber who's trucks I see all over the neighborhood. They also can't generate a leak from my shower, but reseal the shower, and replace a leaky faucet valve.
Lo and behold, the management company sends me a $350 dollar bill for the two trips for Gorsuch to 'identify' the problem. I call management, they say talk to Gorsuch. I call Gorsuch, and everybody with authority is out to lunch. Receptionist says she'll talk to the tech, and they'll get back to me. Never hear another thing, but the management paid the bill (they hired Gorsuch in the first place, and the bill is to them. They're just billing me as my pipes/shower are causing the leak.) and are now going to have a 'hearing' about why the management company hasn't been paid.
BECAUSE $350 TO MISDIAGNOSE THE PROBLEM IS HIGHWAY ROBBERY! I'm not sure what kickbacks management are getting on this, but there must be some bull going on. I saw Gorsuch for 15 minutes max over two trips. I didn't require two trips. I pretty well knew Luke was gaslighting me on the problem as he couldn't diagnose the issue properly, so made up a story to pass the buck.
Utter and complete rip off.

DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND CALL ANOTHER PLUMBER. Unless you like paying a premium for the work, taking for ever to get the job done, and receiving substandard customer service. I have been dealing with Gorsuch for the past four months and it has been the worst experience I have ever had with any contractor. I am the president of a homeowner's association and Gorsuch was recommended to us by the HOA management company as a plumbing company of size and reputation to get a larger project done. I don't know how they have built this so-called ""great reputation"". When they came out to bid a gas re-piping and new gas meter job for a 21 unit building in Long Beach, it was a disaster from the start. After agreeing to pay upwards of $35,000 for this project and signing a contract that said it would take about two weeks, I specifically asked to be kept abreast of the project. Instead, this two week project turned into a four month nightmare! I don't fault the workers, but the owner/manager, Matthew, had the communication and business skills on par with any organization that has driven themselves out of business for not listening to the consumer. You would have thought that a $35,000 job would have come with some progress updates. Instead, they complained about trenching under the building and lack of cooperation from the tenants for access. This is something they knew from the moment they bid the project. But instead of communicating these issues, they just let it drag on. I still to this day do not know what took so long. I was told at the beginning of the job, that the gas would remain on in the units that did not have leaks, that the city would turn on the meters as they passed inspection, etc. All these were either lies or a general lack of knowledge on the City of Long Beach policies. The outcome was that 21 units went without gas for heating and for cooking for FOUR months! To pour salt in the wound, I facilitated getting access to some units by hand delivering keys to their receptionist. They lost the keys and then tried to say that I had given them different keys and point the finger at me. I sent them so many emails asking for updates that went unanswered. The sad part is that Gorsuch was so short sided as the association had voted to allow only one plumbing company to do all future work on the building and that company was to be Gorsuch. Now, we have voted to ban them from ever doing business with our association again. Lastly, the units in the building are owned by investors, Realtors, property managers and others who would have the ability to recommend Gorsuch for many other plumbing jobs. Instead I will recommend everyone to avoid them; especially on big jobs at condos, apartment buildings etc. Their motto is ""Putting pipes in their place since 1939"" It wouldn't surprise me if some of those jobs are still waiting for those pipes!

Called them to see a problem and they showed up with a charge of $72 for doing nothing! Nice way to make a profit and claim a clientele for the future!!

I currently own a condominium unit that I have been renting out for quite some time. Ive had to call this plumbing service about 4 times due to clogs that were tenant-related.
Every time I call, it's always more than a pleasure to talk to their dispatcher/receptionist. She's very sweet and understanding when I call with a frustrating situation.
They ALWAYS send a technician out for service the same day. Because I'm not physically at my unit, they will personally call me and explain to me in simple words about what exactly they found, what needs to be done, and how much it will cost. I can't appreciate this courtesy enough.
After the work has been done, they email me with the bill that outlines everything they did, the problem, and a breakdown of the invoice.
I have every intention of using their services in the future if plumbing problems ever should arise.

I called Gorsuch Plumbing to come check out my toilet that had a slight leak coming from the tank and it ran all the time. $300 later, I now have a fixed (hopefully) twenty-something year old toilet. Here is the deal. I think these guys try to take advantage of whatever they can. If they think you don't really understand plumbing, or how much things cost, you are screwed! The guy who came out to my house, Luke, came the first time and basically looked at the toilet, said it needed parts that he would have to order because Kohler toilets only take Kohler parts. He charged me $138 for this ($90 for an hour, which he whittled a lot of that time away down at his truck writing up the bill, and $48 for a service call). He finally came back today to install the parts, and when I asked him how much he thought it would be, he told me somewhere between $180 to $220 depending on how long it took him. Okay, that seemed extreme, so I questioned him about it. Mind you, this was to replace one bolt in the tank and put a new flapper in....longer than an hour???? I think not. Anyway, I let him know that didn't sound right to me and I kept an eye on him while he fixed it to make sure he wasn't wasting time. After the 30 minutes it took, he said,""I'll go write up the bill and be back."" At that point, I said, ""why can't you write up the bill here?"" At this time, he knew I was suspicious, so he didn't take that long, but I bet if I hadn't done all of this, he would have taken longer than an hour and he would have spent a long time down at his truck writing up the bill. I can't even say how disappointing this is to me. I just think people who try to take advantage of others are the lowest of low. I have a regular plumber, Pro-Rooter, who I just love, and I am kicking myself for not calling them this time. I will never ever again be calling Gorsuch for anything.

I was misguided by Mike Diamond, thinking I needed WAY MORE work than I really did. It was just a simple backed up drain or so I thought.
Mike Diamond. Wanted me to rip open the wall, replace pipes and hydro jet the plumbing. They quoted me a reasonable price for the work but too high for my budget, plus the thought of ripping up walls, repainting and spending that sort of money were making me sick.
Needless to say, I kept my upstairs sink out of commission all Summer because of this quote.
The guys from Gorsuch came in, snaked it, and fixed the piping underneath the sink in less than 45 mins....now my sink is draining as it should be. And for attraction of what Mike Diamond wanted to charge me for the same problem
Niice guys ....good price...quick service....problem solved
I will DEFINITELY use them again for any plumbing need.
Mike Diamond smells like cheap cologne anyway!

Gorsuch come out to replace a shower valve for me; I called them as they know my building well. When I called them, the receptionist was courteous and easy to talk to, and they quoted me a price over the phone. The job was completed quickly and professionally, I am pleased with the service and would call this company again.
