My husband and I have been doing business with Gordon's Service Experts for over 20 years; purchased two complete HVAC systems and a hot water heater. On occasion, we have experienced less than satisfactory service concerning the maintenance of our HVAC systems, but was able to remedy the problems with the appropriate Gordon's manager. However, Gordon's Service Experts customer service is horrible! They continually miss service appointments and offer no legitimate excuse, other than (a) scheduling conflicts, (b) computer glitches, or (c) blame it on inexperienced service representatives. As a customer, I expect on-time and exceptional service - how are internal business problems my problems! However, I do understand that things happen, precluding timely service (or missed service appointments), but Gordon's service representatives continually failed to notify me when ""internal business"" issues prevented them from servicing my equipment - I had to contact Gordon's for follow up action - it appears that Gordon's does not have a process in place to validate or track work orders to completion - if they did, I would of been notified in a timely manner concerning late service arrivals or the necessity to reschedule service appointments due to the aforementioned excuses. My husband and I are at the end of our proverbial rope - we desire our equipment to be serviced by the same company we purchased it from; however, it appears the concept of ""excellent customer service"" is unknown to Gordon's or they simply do not care. If their customer service does not improve, my husband and I may be forced to seek future service of our equipment through another company - a competitor who understands that good customer service is paramount to the success of any business. I am sorry, but at this time, my husband and I cannot endorse Gordon's Service Experts based on continued poor customer service.

On Monday night our heater quit working in 20 degree weather and with a disabled daughter with pneumonia. I called Gordon's and in about 2 hours a nice technician named George showed up and stated that he couldn't fix it, we would need a part, and he would try to find it the next morning.
I texted neighbors and nobody had space heaters so I had to take my daughter to a hotel for the night and I started calling the company the next morning to see what we could do. We were told it would be $1,200 to replace a $130 part that they could have by Friday or we could get our system replaced the following day for $8,900.
I found someone who said they could get the part faster and install it for half the price, so we went with that company instead.
On Friday, after the heater was fixed by the second company, a rude representative from Gordon's called to tell me that they received the part and could come and replace it. I told her that I never ordered the part through them and we found someone else to fix it.
All I can say is beware.
I'm giving them two stars because George seemed knowledgeable and was very polite. I'm not so sure about the intentions of others in the company. It's difficult having a disabled person in the cold and I feel like they tried to take advantage of us when they could have gotten the part faster. I believe they only wanted to sell us a new system.
I spoke with my next door neighbor who had the same experience with Gordon's 2 months ago. They wanted to replace his system and not fix it. Like me, he hired someone else.

They were very professional and thorough in providing my home with heat and air. They were able to meet me after work and install my ac on a Saturday, which was a life-saver to me.
The installers showed me how everything worked as well. Great service.

I wonder about the quality of Gordon Service Experts. Rick Parker came about to give me an estimate on a new heat and air system saying that he would email it to me by the end of the day. Well that was almost 7 weeks ago and after a few calls to his office still no estimate. Is that possibly a blessing ...that if the sales department cannot even keep his word or even make any return contact what happens if you need service. At this point in time I would have to give that company a massive thumbs down.

Love this company. Have used them for a couple of years, never been disappointed in quality of service, most recently for maintaining our heating/air system. Technicians are unfailingly polite, knowledgeable & always answer any questions with explanations we can understand lol. Have recommended to our family & friends too. (We really appreciate the technician Casey, who took special care to clean up the work areas after the services were completed)! Will continue to use in the future.

I bought a 6-year-old house and knew I needed to have the heat pump checked out (I didn't even know what a heat pump was!). I saw Gordon's $79 furnace tuneup special on the Internet and booked them online. They sent out Calvin, who arrived on time, was pleasant, knowledgeable, showed me how to change the filter, and didn't hard-sell anything. He even gave me a $30 rebate application form at the end of the service call, and showed me how to fill it out. AAA service, thanks Calvin!

We needed a plumber to fix our mistake at 4pm on
Friday. Called Gordon's. Jeremy was here in 30 minutes and gone in 30 minutes. Job done.
Thank you.

Mike, Dave, Arnold, Randy, & Sebastian were all very professional, respectful, and helpful. They each went above the call of duty to ensure I was taken care of, and as a military spouse, I can't emphasize enough how important it is to be able to trust that the services they performed were done so with great expertise and courtesy. I HIGHLY recommend everyone to utilize Gordon's Service Experts for their AC/Heating and plumbing needs! You will NOT be disappointed!

Quick, friendly, inexpensive service. Our technician was Stephen. He was right on time at 4pm as we requested. Walked me through the entire process of what he was doing and got right to work. Only issue I have was with the main company (dispatchers) calling me several times throughout the day trying to have the technician come early. I booked between 4-6 for a reason so I didn't have to take off work and wait around.
TIP: Look for tune-up coupons in the mail, they'll save you quite a bit.

While the technicians were friendly and professional, my confidence in their abilities are shot for two reasons.
1) I had them come to install a Nest thermostat. While they did successfully install the thermostat, I have no way of knowing how well they did, as before they came my AC worked, after they left it did not. While it may be coincidental--it is an 18 year old AC--it is hard for me to escape the suspicion that they sabotaged my AC.
2) When I called them back to diagnose why the AC was now not working they could neither tell me why or give me an estimate on repairs.
To make matters worse, they are extremely expensive. A fact I did not find out about until the work was finished as the technicians did not give me an estimate before doing the work. Also, I was told by the person who scheduled the appointment the diagnostic fee of $99 would be applied to the cost of the work. It was not. So all in all I was charged $348 to install a thermostat for an AC which does not work.
Feeling ripped off.
