We called Gordon because we had a major backup and they were recommended by my neighbor. My family (including 4 children) had to sleep elsewhere to avoid overflowing the toilets. The technician came put, looked at septic pipes and said ""Yep, I need to go get a rodding tool to clear the clog. If I can't locate the clog I'll have to bring my co-worker with a locator. I'll be back within the hour"". 4 hours later, I get a call telling me the company no longer does repairs in Evergreen Park even though they are 1.5 miles down the road! How do accept the service call, send a technician with no equipment and wait 4 hours to tell the customer to find another plumber. Way to go Gordon Plumbing! SMH.?

I called Gordon's last week for a house we rent on the south side. Both toilets were flooded and wouldn't flush. A large family lived there and this needed to be done. Although they did arrive fairly quickly, they told me they didn't have the proper tool for the job. They needed a power rodder and the plumber didn't have one. He said he would gladly come back the next day. Of course, that was unacceptable. Can't have a family of 6 live in a house without toilets. He then stated he would call around to see if he could find someone else that had the tool needed. He never called back. I called him several times and left voice mails but he never returned my calls. Very unprofessional. I obviously had to go elsewhere! I'll never use Gordon's again.

I found a coupon in the old Yellow Pages many, many years ago and called them. I had a very bad problem and they stayed here for a very long time until they fixed it. I have been using them ever since and have always been very happy and they have always been reasonable. I recommended them to a friend and she agreed with me. I called them two days before last Christmas with a completely blocked bathtub and again they did an amazing job. I highly recommend this company.
