Just had Gordon Taylor Plumbing come to my house and repair a very tricky pipe that surrounded my pool. I had to wait an entire week to get them out to my house... but it was ABSOLUTELY worth the wait. I have used Gordon Taylor Plumbing many times, and EVERY time they have been the best out there. Honestly, they are always good about being fair and diligent. In my opinion, they are the best plumbing outfit in the business. This is an honest review, I have nothing to gain... just want y'all to know, if you are trying to decide if you should call them or someone else... call them! I don't give 5 stars as a habit... but they earned it due to the patience and hard work displayed in a short time today. Thank you

We also wish to echo the extremely positive reviews for Gordon Taylor. We had a broken water pipe under our 200' driveway. We called for guidance, they referred us to a leak detector agency, then had their team of two guys here for several days, to dig up the driveway, find the leak, effect an outstanding repair in difficult environment (water pipe was right underneath the gas pipe, three feet deep. Always had great communication from main office, pricing was very fair. We felt safe, and heard, as it is stressful to be without water for several days...appreciated their empathy, but loved their professionalism, commitment to outstanding service, and superb quality work.
Highly recommend, they are only plumbers we will ever use, for any job.

These guys are 1st rate!! I do not what happened to Todd T. or Amy L. But these guys rock!! We had a couple of slab leaks and they were bad, discovered on New Year's Eve and they were here by the 2nd. The team did not leave us until the Job was done. And when I say job I mean an entire re-pipe of the plumbing in the house. Two stories, 3.5 baths complete re-pipe. Not only is Gordon a fabulous plumber but Nacho and his crew are also fantastic. These guys will forever be my go-to plumbers and the only crew I would ever recommend to my friends. Thanks again for making us whole again here!! Now its time for the re-build, yikes.

I only wish yelp would allow a TEN STAR REVIEW! Gordon is not only a fantastic plumber, he's a great guy as well. It's 6:45 on a Saturday night and he was kind enough to stop by on his way to a family birthday party to stop my shower from running. If you want a plumber who cares about his work and his customers, look no further than this company. Oh, by the way, my shower was leaking because I was dumb enough to try to fix it myself. Dumb move. Smart move was calling Gordon Taylor. #bestplumber

Terrific Plumber, very reliable and honest. Was very patient with all of my questions. Got the work done and left the bathroom cleaner than it was when he started!

NEVER use this company!! The most unprofessional, unethical company around!!
The unprofessionalism starts from the initial first call with Leslie the receptionist who couldn't be more unhelpful. Her bad attitude and lack of cooperation makes you feel like you're putting her out to give them your business! I should've been alerted from the outset, but I'd used Gordon before and he was nice so I forged on.....
The first plumber they sent out told me I needed a replacement part. When I got the replacement part Leslie didn't send the same plumber out who diagnosed the problem to fix it! (I guess that kind of consistency would take too much effort on her part and display customer care!) The second plumber they sent appeared drunk and out of it. He told me it was the wrong part and I needed to get a different part. He was going to leave the mess of various faucet parts strewn across my counter when I asked if he could at least put the faucet back together so I could use it while waiting for the replacement part since it was only a small drip from one handle that needed to be fixed. Clearly he didn't know how to put the faucet back together as both handles now have a consistent stream of drips with big gaps between them and they're crooked.
The worst part, however is he used his wrenches directly on my faucet and left gauges ALL over the handles, so now my very expensive faucet is ruined!!! What kind of a plumber doesn't use specialized tools or know to protect from damaging fixtures??
When I was finally able to get past Leslie the attitude queen and get through to Gordon, he promised to replace the part and right the wrong. ""Ok"", I thought, ""he's doing the right thing and taking responsibility. I'll give him a second chance. He's a nice guy and just made a bad hire""......Well, that was 6 WEEKS AGO!! How long does it take someone in the industry to get a product?? Not only that, I have to follow up with HIM to find out what's going on! He never calls me with an update. He avoids my calls, doesn't call back and takes no responsibility.
I am a very busy professional and don't have time to constantly chase after a plumber to stand by his work. The amount of time I've put into a small leak in a faucet is ridiculous. I'm grateful that Yelp gives consumers an avenue to expose unethical service providers so we can protect each other and reward the deserving ones. I don't have time to write reviews, but I'm so incensed with this company that I feel obligated to expose them to protect the innocent!
I'm so tired of chasing down this company to stand by their work that I'm going to be out of pocket to buy another faucet and find a REAL plumber who can install it before this constant stream of water ruins my counter too. Then I'll take him to small claims court........
Save yourself the aggravation and expense and use another plumber!! (By the way, I checked with the supplier and they supplied the correct part!)

I had a clogged kitchen sink and needed a plumber. I happened to look out my window and saw my neighbor with a Taylor plumbing truck, so I walked over to talk with the plumber. I asked him him to come and look at my clogged sink and to give me a price. He looked at it and told me that you needed to cut pipes or cut into the wall to access the pipes and that I was looking at a lot of money. I think the job might have scared him since the sink was bubbling up. I decided not to use him and called Fisher plumbing instead and they were able to come out and fix the problem right away. They ended up accessing the vent on the roof and used the snake to clear the line. That company was very professional and handled the problem quickly. If I would have listened to Taylor plumbing, I could've ended up spending hundreds of dollars unnecessarily.

Gordon Taylor Plumbing has come to my home 2 times in the couple of weeks weeks. Initially my water heater was leaking pretty bad so I called my home protection company (Old Republic) to request service. They sent a plumber (two days later) who showed up in an unmarked truck and through broken english (I don't speak Russian) tried to explain that I needed a new water heater (duh) and that it would require a lot of work because of new codes and the water damage. He left and then I had to wait for the home protection company to approve the work. I spoke to them and said I did not want that company back to my home to do the work. The said that's who they use and the will just pay me out if I wouldn't use them. FINE! I called Gordon Taylor Plumbing at the recommendation of a friend (never even check yelp). They came out on that day with a water heater. It cost and additional $100 and was well worth it. The guys were on time, efficient, polite and most of all did a great job. All was great.
Then we got a new Washer and dryer from a friend and when we tried to install them the water lines were frozen (not from cold just age). I called on a Sunday afternoon expecting to leave a message but no, Gordon answered the phone. Said he could come out right then. I said tomorrow was fine and he told me he would call in the morning to confirm. I got a call and 7:15 and Alex was here by 8:05. Again, great service! He even waited to be sure the lines would not leak when the washer was running.
Thank you Gordon Taylor Plumbing, you guys rock!!

Unprofessional and rude.
Looked at the reviews for Gordon Taylor Plumbing and they looked good so I called and left a message twice regarding a blockage in my main line. They finally called me back and said they could come by in 2 days. The problem wasn't that severe at the time so I decided to wait considering what appeared to be good reviews. On the day of service I called twice to get a better idea of when they would come out. When the plumber called me back I was told they hadn't been informed that I had a clog in my main line and they'd need to find a truck with a snake and would need to reschedule. What plumber does not come prepared to a job without a snake? They had been informed 3 times about my problem.
Obviously I was upset and was told the office would call me to reschedule. When they called they said I should find someone else to do the job. No apology for the 2 day scheduling wait and 3 hr waiting period inconvenience they had caused. I called back to help them understand that I was willing to wait the two days to schedule their services but they had now caused a huge inconvenience to me. No apology given and they hung up on me.
My experience with this company does not connect at all with the 5 star ratings. Had they shown the slightest element of respect for my time, I'm sure the rating here would be very different.
I called a different plumber today. They called twice to let me know when I could expect them and showed up within an hour. They even had a special discount for their services. Think twice before you schedule services with Gordon Taylor Plumbing. I wish I had!

I looked at Yelp reviews before I called a plumber to fix our leaky toilet. I hadn't heard of this plumber but was impressed by the reviews. Called yesterday and Curt, the serviceman, called me right back. We made arrangements for him to come over between 11:40 and 12:30
Which was perfect timing for me. Arriving at noon, Curt went right to work. He was professional and friendly. I remembered a few other leaky faucets, plugged bathtub drain and he fixed those as well. It was $95 for service call and $40 for parts. Extremely reasonable. A stress free visit from a nice plumber. Would obviously recommend,
