These guys have been the only ones to pick up the phone and call back. They show up on time and don't cut corners. Last week we had a low leak under our kitchen sink. In order to take care of it they had to get in to our crawl space YIKES! I left for work and came back to a fixed pipe. Rodger was respectful and thorough. He even took the time to spray foam other areas of our sink plumbing.

Melissa, is the best in the office, she listens and makes the calls.
This was my second time using Gordon's. I will always call them first for future plumbing needs.

When I called Gordon Family Plumbing last Thursday, July 14 and set up an appointment for a service call for today, Monday, July 18, Melissa in the Gordon office was helpful and courteous, and Aaron the plumber who came today and replaced our hot water heater was professional and courteous, and did a good job. But when I asked Aaron a question about a lack of itemization on our $1700.00 bill, he said that he didn't set the prices, that the boss did, and referred me to Rodger. Rodger was angry, belligerent, disrespectful, and very unprofessional on the telephone. My wife and I initially thought that this was going to be a simple heating element warranty replacement because that's what the manufacturer's customer support person told us was likely the problem when I called for warranty authorization. But it turned out that the wiring on the element was fried, and we needed a new water heater. So when we were told by Gordon's plumber Aaron that we would need a new heater we asked if they could get one installed today because we had been without hot water for four days. Rodger apparently blames us (and charged us accordingly) for having to drive to Longview, WA for parts we had no way of knowing we wouldn't need, and then charged us $1700.00 to pick up a $630.00 hot water heater at the local Ace Hardware a mile away from our home, and install it.
I fully appreciate that Gordon Family Plumbing may have been inconvenienced by having to make a 45 or 50 mile round trip for parts they would have to return, but as the customer, I can't see how that is my fault, and I certainly can't see how that justifies a business owner treating a local customer that they have never met, with anger, aggression, and profanity on the phone. They have our $1700.00, but you can be sure that we won't be calling them back.

Realized last week that a leaking water main was the source of some water in our crawl space we'd been trying to figure out for months. After calling every local plumber I could find who either didn't want to do the job or just never returned my phone calls, I was referred to Gordon Family Plumbing, who actually answered the phone, then came out the same day to give a clear and fair estimate to replace the line. They managed to fit the job into their schedule that week and did a fabulous job, and the county inspector was thoroughly pleased with the quality of their work as well.

Being in a rural area, there are only a couple of plumbers and it's like pulling teeth to get anyone to even talk to you. Not sure what the deal is but it's frustrating to say the least. Anyways, Gordon Family Plumbing will be getting all of my calls for plumbing work going forward. I highly recommend them.
