I called Matt at Gopher It just the other day to get an estimate on some work my parents needed at their home in Rohnert Park. Matt was responsive and friendly. He went over to my parents house the same day I called him to take a look at the problem. He did a TV inspection, gave us his recommendations, and didn't charge us anything. He is a very professional, honest, and thoughtful!

Wow if I could give this company 10 stars I would. Plumber tried 3 hours to clear sewer with not luck. Gopherit trenchless was recommended by a plumber friend. Matt came out the next day and accessed the problem, dug a hole with workers, cut the line semi cleared the drain. Put a camera in found a collapsed pipe with roots and mud. Made line semi clear so we could function. They took care of everything permits etc. 4 workers 3 trucks came by friday and put new sewer line. Inspection monday and fill holes all done. Matt and his crew really have their act together. Price was fair and do not hesitate to use them.

Gopher it never did any work for me but saved me a ton of money and time. The professionalism and integrity of Matt and his company has really impressed me and here is why:

9 years ago I had my sewer line replaced by the trenchless method. It was done by a company which was not Gopher it. However, after the 9 years, roots began to clog it up again, something that should not happen. Given that it was 9 years old and not even thinking about a warranty situation, I called my sewer district and told them of the problem and asked for a recommendation to determine what was going on. Although they can't recommend a particular company, they gave me the name of three companies that would put a camera down the line and find out why and where the roots were intruding. Gopher It was one of the three.

I called Gopher it and spoke with Matt. He was in the middle of something, but took the call and asked me to send him a text about the problem. I did and he got back to me right away. He asked me who did the previous work and I told him. Matt then said, ""you really should call them because they are a reputable company and they might repair the issue under warranty."" So it called the other company, who came right out, put the camera down the line and said ""yep, your covered under warranty"".

Its just really nice to know that Gopher It is a company that you can trust and if I ever have any plumbing problems, they will be the first people I call.

John McMahon and Gopher-It are hands down the best company! John saved us from losing out on a grant deadline for our district as another company promised us that they would get the work done despite no showing multiple times. John was able to step in and get the permit and inspection lined up with very short notice. Their pricing was very reasonable and considerably less than 2 other bids. The crew was fantastic and a pleasure to have around. They were careful with the landscape and cleaned up each day. John is one of the nicest men on the planet, too. Honest, kind, competent and a fabulous sense of humor to boot.

This company is terrific! I only wish I had heard about them sooner. My property in Petaluma had a clogged lateral from severe root intrusion. I had two sewer companies come out. One charged me almost $500 (since there was no clean-out, to tv the line to see what the issue was. He never made a DVD copy for me - which I found out later was huge. Their process was to grind out the roots, and line the inside of the pipe with some hardening compound. The second company came out - not knowing what the inside of the pipe looked like (since I had no DVD for my $500) took my word that there was severe root intrusion and no clean out. Their plan was to grind out the roots, and use a product called Root-X that would fix the problem for a year, or rip up the deck and landscaping to install another pipe. My husband, who works as a Supervisor for a sewer company in Marin, did not like either plan. I then called one of the largest companies in all of Marin/Sonoma, stating they clean lines, but do not replace or repair. They recommended another company, who said my most cost effective route to fix the problem and not tear up the yard, would be to call Matt at Gopher-It. He was so professional from the start. He was able to install the new pipe while removing the old, without destroying the yard and only removing a few deck boards. His crew left everything clean and in-tact, just as it was. The tenants said they were great! He even referred me to the lateral grant program, and I was able to qualify for $2k back. Matt's company Gopher-It is well know among sewer, plumbing, and city/county agencies. He responds quickly, is professional, charges a fair price for a perfect job. Thank you Matt! Kim Sousa

I had gone through three times in 17 days of having my sewer back up and finally the third time the camera was able to see the cause, the connection to the street main had slipped down plus a rock had somehow got in the system. My plumber referred me to Gopher-it along with two other plumbers that did not do the digging. Matt came the next morning, said that he could have it taken care of the next morning, a Saturday, since it was an emergency.. The other two companies said they could get to it the following week. The job was down on Saturday. Matt just called to say that he has scheduled the paver to do the black top within the next week. Pricing was very competitive, but the prompt service was what triggered the go ahead.

I just wanted to give a big recommendation for Matt Melendez of Gopher-It Trenchless Repair. If anyone lives in an old Petaluma house like I do that has interesting old plumbing in need of repair, I highly recommend giving Matt a call. His system is more reasonably priced than every other plumber I spoke with, he is great to deal with, and he stands by his work.
