We have been smelling this musky odor in our bathroom for a couple months and kept thinking it was related to the ceiling vent, so just ignored it. A few days I dropped something near the base of the toilet and when I picked it up, it hit me. Well, the smell hit me. It was the wax seal that was failing, except our toilet didn't have a normal wax seal, it was one of those fancy new plastic ones that just didn't do its job. Plus our toilet is a one piece, very heavy and not the easiest to work with.

Matthew picked up the phone immediately, scheduled a time to come a few hours later with his crew and they replaced the wax seal. Super nice guys, very communicative and explained the entire process. They even waited to show me what they did before they put the toilet back. The whole process with them was very smooth. Smell is gone and it's all perfect.
