First appointment - didn't show & didn't even call. I should have quit there.
Next one - he replaced a water heater.
He cashed the check real fast.
But he left a lethal code violation - unshielded 220v wires laying on metal.
Twenty calls trying to get him to fix it.
Got two promises, but no repair.

Ron B.Jason ripped me off. Over Priced. $429 dollars to snake a drain. I don't care how big the snake was. He was here less than an hour. And it wasn't after hours. He never quoted me a price over the phone. Totally unacceptable. I will never call him again.
On 10-25-2019, I contracted a job with Jason Strzala, owner and operator of ""Goodfellas plumbing & drain"" to install a back yard french drain. The drain appx 40' in length would connect to a newly installed trench drain in front of the double car garage, and discharge out to the street also installed by Goodfella's. The project was completed on 11/14, but freezing temperatures would not allow a review of the workings of both drains. After a brief warm-up it was determined that the garage drain was working as it was supposed to, but the French drain was not, as there was standing water covering the drain. A promise was made to come out in the Spring, and address the problem.
Getting Jason back out here to ""fix"" the problem was very difficult. Phone calls to an answering machine whose message box was 'always' full left only email exchanges. Many promises to come out with just as many no-shows, without even the courtesy of a phone call. Finally he came out and offered a solution circumventing the new drain and putting in a sump pump running around the garage to a shared driveway. This proposal was unacceptable. After no less than 9 attempts to have him come out and discuss this, I gave him an ultimatum to either ""fix"" the problem (which came with a 2 year warranty) or refund $2,839. Both suggestions were ignored. Since the job was paid in full, there was no incentive to come out.
After many attempts to get Goodfellas to fix this, I am left with no alternative but to pursue legal action. I now have to pay another company to come out and do the work, something which I have already paid for, and now have to pay again. The reputation and integrity of this company as far as I am concerned is ""ZERO"" I can see why the BBB gave this company an ""F"" rating. I would not recommend Goodfellas Plumbing to anyone. They do not stand behind their work, and have no interest in taking long term care of their customers.
Our toilet tank flooded and they came out right away. Jason and his colleague showed up. Recommended replacing the toilet rather than fixing the bolt due to the way it was sheared off. Decided my husband could replace and they even recommended going with an American Standard. All in all they saved me well over $500.00. I would definitely use them in the future for any major plumbing jobs. Friendly and knowledgeable and quick response time! I recommend them to everyone with plumbing jobs! Thank you Goodfellas Plumbing! : )
Eric G.Unfortunately, I wasn't able to hire this company.
Excellent communication to start off--I needed a plumber for an estimate (in all likelihood, I would have just hired them on the spot) and the dispatcher kept me updated. The first scheduled appointment, they let me know they weren't able to make it as a larger job earlier in the day took longer than expected. Which is perfectly fine, they would contact me the next day and put me on the schedule for a three-hour window.
No visit, and no call on that day. I wasn't even able to get a quote and they wasted my time.
Mary V.This company is AWESOME! Honest with the situation and what our options were to get the job done quickly and correctly. Price was exactly what I expected to pay - reasonable and worth every $ Thanks again for the great job.
