They charge $149 fee for high rise for parking and to provide a certificate of insurance for high rise building. They would not even give me an estimate for replacing 2 shut off valves under sink (seems pretty clear and common) without paying the $149. I'm disappointed and will look for a company that can estimate this simple job. It is pretty clear this would be a bait & switch once I'm on the hook for $149 and they are here, they can charge/gouge me whatever. To even get an estimate they charge $149. I have free parking for 30 min. Why can't I get an estimate? And I'm sorry but parking is not 149 and it does not cost that to provide a certificate of insurance. Very disappointed

Thank you for the response... but I sent plenty of pictures of what I need done. You should send someone at NC to give me a thorough estimate then since you say the $149 is for cost of doing work in the high rise. I'm sorry but that's better business then to force me to pay $149 for getting an estimate. Or based on my pictures and detailed description of work I need, I would think you could give me an estimate.

They showed up close to the time they said they would. They fixed the bathtub mixer handle at my tenant's apartment. Repair cost was expensive but they are professional

Goode Plumbing was at my condo today to check on a leak near my washer. From the moment I called Goode Plumbing I knew it was going to be a favorable experience.

They actually have an office with a live person who answers the phone who was able to set up an appointment within a couple of days.

The technician who came to my home - John Paul - was knowledgeable, friendly, and went out of his way to provide me with the information I needed to make an Informed decision on my leak.

Because there were a couple of questions regarding my pipes, John Paul called in another technician - Chris - who took a second look and was able to explain even further what needed to be done.

I wish every home-improvement service was as professional as Goode Plumbing. For the amount of time they spent at my home, as well as the customer service they provided, I considered the cost to be a deal! I would definitely contact Goode Plumbing again for any plumbing needs I have. Thank you JP and Chris!

I was overcharged to replace a shower cartridge. Had Matt from Goode come out to replace our shower cartridge.
I provided the necessary parts to change it out. I paid $381.00 for approx 1/2 hr job and I feel completely ripped off for this service. After researching typical costs for this type of plumbing work. The national average is $200- $300 in a high market area and typically less in other area's. I also live 1 block away from their location. They charge $60 to show up even if they don't end up doing any work.
Talk about taking advantage of people in need of a working shower and good plumber. On top of that, there was no warranty included because I supplied the Moen OEM factory replacement part. They would have charged me double for it if I did not have it.
If your considering Goode for a simple shower cartridge repair, Don't.
Be prepared to pay above any average cost for this type of fix.
I do not recommend Goode Plumbing based on the price I paid for this job.

If I could give 10 stars, I would! This company came through at the last minute! Literally! We were in the process of having our new refrigerator delivered when the delivery people stated that we did not have a shut off valve for our fridge in the back of our old fridge. We were as surprised as they were, given we have only lived in our home for 2 years. With that being said, our old fridge, which had an inoperable ice maker, could not be disconnected until the water was shut off, which we had no idea where the shut off was. Our tech, Drew, came while the delivery people were still here, only calling Goode Plumbing about 15 minutes prior to his arrival. We tried to have the delivery people stay until Drew figured out where the shut off was, come to find out, after being in our home for about 15-20 minutes Drew found the shut off under our sink. By this time, the delivery people left, leaving our old fridge still in place, and our new fridge in our dining room.

Drew went above and beyond the call of duty for us! He calmed us down, explained what needed to happen, and we were able to disconnect our old fridge and coordinate getting our new fridge in. Without this company, it could have been disaster!

I also want to acknowledge the fact that the management, and office staff are also amazing! Beyond helpful, professional, and just amazing! We will call Goode Plumbing anytime we need something done with our plumbing needs! You should too!

I called Goode to replace a Rinnai tankless hot water heater, given that they had cleaned the unit about 18 months ago at at cost of $235, they seemed like a good choice. I set an appointment and a Goode representative came to my home. He looked at the unit and stated that Goode no longer carried Rinnai and tried to sell me a different unit that would have required pulling down part of my bathroom wall and with a total cost of over $5000. I thanked him for his time, about 20 minutes and the estimate. He then said I own him a $60 service call, which was never mentioned when I call for an estimate, which I would not have set up if I had been told that Goode could not replace my Rinnai. All and all I my experience was bad, if you don't carry a product tell the customer and be sure to state there is a service charge for an estimated. I would not recommend Goode plumbing.

Lisa is OUR HERO! Ask for her; you'll be happy you did. She's done so much for us in our new place, it's amazing. She installed new wax rings, toilets, replaced and relocated our garbage disposal, fixed a faucet, and inspected our entire plumbing system. She's good at what she does. She's kind and easy to talk to. She makes great effort to not push her customers into an unnecessary ""sale"". She's very communicative. And I like the way she interacts with her team!

Scheduling with Goode is quick and easy. My only complaint - the missing star - is because they're on the pricey side. If they could slash their prices a bit, they'd be perfect!

I had a mess of water and mold. Called them on Sunday, they came out on Monday, no biggie, I didn't want to pay for emergency services. The $60 fee to come out is irrelevant when you need something done. They stated they wanted to cut into the wall to make sure it was not a foundation issue, the price went up significantly. Ended up finding out it was my water spigot!!! Kind of upsetting that they had to cut into the wall beforehand. But, peace of mind comes at a cost. I was all in at this point and ended up paying quite a bit to repair the issue, Not sure what an average cost would have been. My point of writing all this is to mention that sometimes when you need something done right away, you have to pay for it. They came out, were very friendly and knowledgeable. I wasn't available but my wife kept me in the loop and I was able to speak to the gentlemen that came out. By all accounts the job was completed in a very thorough manner. They even offered up a company that they work with for restoration. I think it's a solid company and they are very flexible and seem to be readily available for $60. I would definitely use this company again.

If I have a complaint it's the sales of added services. I'm not sure how I feel about that. Fix the issue at hand then give me a pamphlet with what your company offers. The longer you talk, the more I feel like all you want to do is get more money. I get that it's a business, but some situations are stressful, I know my wife was stressed out about it considering I was not there to help. Maybe take that Into consideration.

To end my long review. If you want something done and you need it done right now, don't complain about the cost. Thank you Goode for your prompt response and for always keeping me up to date with when you guys would be able to come out. Communication was great. Solid company.

Of all the repair people I have ever had come to my place, Goode plumbing is by far the best customer service! After using Angie's List to call a few plumbers, Goode was able to come out same day and figure out what my problem was and fix it. The plumber that came by was quite possibly the nicest plumber ever. I was pleased with how quickly they came and attended to the problem (especially since i was moving out of the country a few days later and renting my place). My tenants recently called with another issue, and Goode was so easy for me to coordinate with internationally and work with me and my tenants. My tenant even said they were the worlds nicest plumber. Thank you for your great service and attention!

The cost was beyond outrageous for a simple clogged kitchen sink. Won't be using them again or ever recommending their services. Lesson noted and learned. Avoid!
