SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO ELSEWHERE. Good Tidings actually tried to charge me $1500 for a new toilet. I hired someone else who installed it for $500. WTF?

AND SAVE YOUR TIME: Good Tidings now told me it no longer handles plumbing or heating; it focus only on air conditioners that are ""more than 10 degrees offset."" WTF?

I came to this business while looking for an elderly woman friend who needs to repair, or possibly replace her Central Air unit. I wanted to be able to recommend 3 businesses for her to get estimates from. I've seen their trucks on the road in the past and they caught my attention because of the ""wrap"" containing butterfly graphics. The upselling of parts and services seem to be the standard practice for this business. Based on all the reviews and responses I've read about Good Tidings, going back 10 years, I wouldn't trust them.

I have nothing but excellent things to say about this company. They've shown up and done excellent work in little things like a leaky faucet, to a boiler replacement. They came to service our boiler after the gas company said that it was emitting high CO (due to two burners having residue on them). They checked out the unit fully and found a leak. They showed me the part that was leaking and crumbling apart and they removed that boiler the same day besides also addressing a sink that needed snaking and a leaky shutoff valve. This company operates like no other plumber I've ever worked with as a homeowner. They are attentive, honest, and work with integrity.

I loved the service so much that I signed up for another year of maintenance service for Heating and Cooling. I definitely will recommend Good Tidings to anyone I know!

My whole house Lenox ac unit suddenly was blowing warm air. I called my usual hvac guys who couldn't come till lat next day my house internal temp was already up to over 80 degrees. Good tidings came within 2 hours. Nick was professional honest and did a fine job diagnosing and correcting the problem. I was expecting to have to replace a compressor a solenoid or the whole unit. Apparently a power surge or drop confused the capacitor switch or the fuse. The compressor kicked back on after lightly pushing the fuse. I had turned off circuit breaker prior to calling them for half hour and that didn't work. They could have up sold me they did not. Nick apologized for having to charge me a bit short of a hundred bucks. I was thrilled to pay it. I see a lot of negative reviews here. People are fallable they make mistakes they screw up sometimes it happens. My usual service company may have jumped to conclusions and encouraged me to replace a 2008 unit they installed or maybe they would have done an equal job. But they couldn't get to me-these guys did. I'm a loyal guy but actions speak louder Good tidings is my new company. I've been through tons of plumbers electricians carpenters hvac folks. Good help is hard to get these days craftsman and trades aren't taught or a desired vocations these days. All services are costly plumbers can make more income then some doctors but your doctor can't replace a broken water pipe. Neither can I. I'll call these guys they are good tidings.

This company is a scam. Stay far away!!! I had a minor issue with a toilet flapper. The technician came into my house and started trying to sell me all of these different VIP discount plans that they offer. Then proceeded to try to sell me a new toilet for $1200. I said no I just want this fixed and they were going to charge me $500.!!!! Mind you we already bought the parts we just needed the flapper adjusted. He gave me a whole line that I needed some special different type and for all the labor, etc.. I paid the service call fee reluctantly and told him I don't have $500 for this.
After he left I put on social media asking for recommendations for someone and was given the name of a plumber locally who came over and fixed the job in five minutes and just replace the flapper with another one which was $20 and that's all he charged me because he wasn't even here 10 minutes!!!
These people should be ashamed of themselves for trying to hose people like this and all under having a Bible verse and a Christian name that is absolutely disgusting !!!!! my mother is a senior citizen who referred them to me. I called her and let her know what happened and told her she's never to call these people again.!!!!!
My technicians name was Ethan and I will say he was very polite and respectful and I really don't hold anything against him because he works for this terrible company and he's only doing his job which is being told to push a sales pitch Disgraceful!

Complete rip off! I called them because the hot water heater was not coming on. They came out to diagnose the problem and told me it was the control valve and it would cost over $1,000 to replace, but recommend I replace the entire unit for $3,000. Both numbers seemed ridiculously high. I called another plumber who walked me through getting it working over the phone. The pilot was out!

Brian from Good Tidings came out to our house in a timely manner and replaced our sump pump when we discovered it burned out. He is friendly and professional. He did a marvelous job. We have used this company for over a decade, and they have always helped us out with great service and great service people.

This used to be a reputable family owned business. I bought a brand new air conditioner, gas heater and water heater (carrier) and have used them for years for service. The new heating unit would not turn on (1.5 years old) and they came to service. I was told the bill would be approximately $1500 possibly more if the problem wasn't the gas valve as they thought. I asked about the warranty and was told no warranty only extends for one year. Didn't sound right a call to carrier confirmed it's a 10 year warranty and the gas valve was covered. When I called good tidings they refused to even entertain this and wanted me to speak only to the technician Joe who was telling me there was no warranty. Asked to speak to management and was told to speak to Joe. Very unprofessional and clearly could care less about customer retention. Another hvac company came did the repair and was covered under warranty. Buyer beware
