These guys are good!
I had a frustrating experience with my American Home Shield and I have always been assigned with contractors to work on my appliances and issues and they'd end up doing a lousy job, from poorly rated companies, and leave me with a long wait time even for small fixes.
So last Thanksgiving week I had a dishwasher issue and that stretched til just this week. Someone would look at the problem, order parts for it, wait...wait....parts arrive...set up appointment. Problem not fixed. Call again...set up appointment....and vicious cycle goes around again.
I gave up my AHS and decided to call on a local business with highly rated plumbers.
After some serious research I contacted Good News Plumbing. I told myself ""I'm only gonna hear GOOD NEWS from plumbers from now on."" Alex answered the phone and sure enough I got a swift first thing next-day appointment. Ronnie knocked on my door the following day while I was still on my pajamas coz I thought they'd take their time. Him and Benny were good mannered and never condescending. Ronnie explained the different options to address my problem but he also wanted me to know that he won't be comfortable leaving a job he won't be comfortable accomplishing after either. So we agreed on a solution to replace my hot water valve and fixtures in the sink, and also pickup from store and install my new dishwasher and take out the old one too. He took his time doing his estimates and we agreed at a fair price. Soon enough Lupe and Ricardo stopped by to check in. How awesome was that!
No job is too small or big for these guys. My only concern is they may get too busy after all the good reviews lol jk.
I am glad I found my go-to plumbers now for big and small house fixes. I can also keep my money I used to pay American Home Shield for monthly and service fees, while helping my local Glendora business too! Win! God bless you guys!

I had a small emergency that needed to be addressed immediately. My faucet in my bathtub would not stop spewing water, I tried to fix it myself but it was beyond my knowledge. So I turned off the water to the house and called 3 plumbers who either did not pick up or could not come till tomorrow. Luckily these fine people were available and they came right when they said they would, they got the replacement part and fixed everything in a timely manner.
My specific plumber was Ronnie and he was the best person for the job, respectful, courteous and knowledgeable. I was able to leave Ronnie to his business and he was nothing but professional while I went off to work.

Our water heater made a loud frightening noise on a Friday night so we cut off the gas and called Good News Plumbing on a Saturday morning. To our surprise Alex arrived at 11 am as promised and informed us that the water heater was over ten years old , out of production and out of code. We agreed to replacing it at a reasonable cost.

The service was outstanding! Alex left and returned with the water heater and spent the rest of the day bringing the space up to code and installing the new water heater.

The price was good, there were on time, friendly, trustworthy and the service was the best. We recommend Good News Plumbing to everyone and will be using them again and again.

Alex runs a first class business. I called him and left a message at 7 PM and he returned my call within minutes. He was able to send one of his plumbers (Ronnie) the next day who removed two toilets and put in two new ones for us. He then did a flush/descaling of our tankless water heater. I now have a new go to plumber. Both Alex and Ronnie were extremely professional, helpful, and kind. I can't be anymore satisfied with the work they did. Highly recommended!!!

We are so pleased with the service we received from Alex at Good News Plumbing, that we needed to share. It is so hard to find a good plumber these days, but we found one in Alex. We had been waiting for another plumber that never showed up to fix a nasty clog in our drains. Alex answered the call showed up within 30 minutes of the call. Alex quoted us before starting the work and did exactly what he said he was going to do. We paid half of what we expected to pay because his price was very reasonable. The spout to my hose broke off on a Saturday night and the only solution was to turn our water off to the house. Apparently that wasn't the worst part of our weekend. I tried relentlessly to find anyone regardless what they'd charge to help us but, I got an answering machines or someone letting me know how busy they are and they'd have time later in the week. I felt like my problem wasn't important enough for any Plumming company.
My last call was to Good News Plumming & Drain and immediately everything changed. As a 25 year service technician my wife & I were impressed how responsive, professional and reasonable Good News Plumming & Drain are. My wife appreciated how clean their work environment is and I appreciate them telling me what they saw, what they did and what they recommend. I have two little boys and one of them clogged the toilet. Things went from bad to worse when I tried to plunge it myself and it backed up into my shower. After calling another local plumber, who said they couldn't come out until the next day, I called Good News Plumbing & Drain. The guy I spoke to said he could have someone out within the hour. 15 minutes later, they were at my door, quickly diagnosed the problem as being my main line and went to work. Alex ended up having to snake my main line and was very thorough in making sure it was fixed before he left. I was VERY happy with the response time, service, efficiency and the price. He also had a great attitude. I'll definitely call them again if I have issues in the future. Thank you guys!!!!
