A plumber from this company came to my home and said I needed to replace the water heater because it was over 20 years old. He said a new one would be here within 48 hours. I called on day 2, day 3, and day 4 and there was NO response. I called and I left text messages. Other texts to this number had been responded to. I just called American Home Shield and they said Good Neighbor Plumbing told them several days ago that they could not complete the service. That is fine, but at least have the courtesy to respond to my calls/texts and tell me that so I could get the process of moving to the next plumber going. Now it is Saturday and I have to wait until Monday. If they had told me when they knew, several days ago, I could have moved this along and not extended having to shower in cold water by another week or more. It would have taken 30 seconds to respond to my text. This is neither neighborly nor good behavior.

I have an emergency leak in the crawl space of my house. My insurance referred a plumbing company who was irresponsible and didn't show up on the scheduled date. After I complained my insurance, they referred Good Neighbor Plumbing. Jun came to me house and he's very professional. He even wore shoe covers before stepping inside. He also explained to me what was broken and gave me the exact day to come back and fix it. I would highly recommend this company, especially Jun for any plumbing services.

I had these folks assigned by my home warranty carrier. They came to the house and could not fix my faucet because they did not have the right tool and never came back, They tried to fix a shower leak. Claimed to order the part, Weeks later after multiple calls to follow-up that could not even go to voicemail because their voice box is always full. They will not return calls, would not answer to texts, then finally when I managed to get through, they scheduled an appointment, then never showed up or called. Very unprofessional and inept.

This company was sent to us via our home warranty and turned out to be complete scam artists. First guy who came was super junior (and said so himself) and spoke absolutely NO english or anything. He simply took photos, said ""boss"" and left. Then after calling, a new guy came. He seemed very nice at first but didn't even look at the leak. Before looking at the problem he declared that the whole wall and possibly and entire new shower including tiles etc need to be ripped. He gave the phone number of a friend who quoted 10k to just demo the bathroom and won't give us any further quote. Following up with them to send a report to home warranty company was a pain and after several follow ups they wrote a report that was completely false blaming us home owners for breaking our own shower. Which home owner goes and breaks their shower to have a leak and flooding. It seems they didn't want to do the job or something. Meanwhile after wasting several days and trying to work with them, we went ahead and got another plumber who within one minute opened the shower valve and put a new gasket to stop the leak instantly. We were shocked at the discrepancy in experience and dishonesty from this company. Shameful that they even continue to do business without any regard to families who seek their help

Too expensive and they will add on additional work to rack up the fees. I had to call another plumbing company to compare prices and see if it was necessary to do all the work on the proposal. Even called the City to inquire about permits and so on. For example the pan required underneath the water heater costs like $10 and they were charging me over $50. Way marked up!

Unprofessional and unreliable service. Jun was recommended, but a two day job took two months. Showed up late on several occasions, hot and cold were connected in reverse on two faucets. Several joints leaked and multiple revisits and failed attempts to repair. They take shortcuts, rather than getting it done right. A total waste of my time. Don't be fooled by the photos on Good Neighbors Plumbing's website. The attached photos speak for themselves.

I won't speak to the company at large, but I will review the technician who identified himself as ""June."" We had a work order placed through our home warranty for an obvious plumbing leak from the upstairs bathrooms. There was secondary damage through the ceiling and leakage down to our kitchen nook. June came out and determined he needed to carve out holes in the ceiling to locate the source of the leak, which was perfectly reasonable. He ran the two baths upstairs and sure enough, water eventually started pouring out. there was also clear, long-standing water damage in the drywall and rusting of pipes. However, because June could not pinpoint the precise location of the leak, he attributed it to grout and tiling issues in the shower, and promptly left, claiming it was not a plumbing issue. Needless to say, within a day, we received a denial letter (email) from the home warranty company. Two days later, when there was more obvious leakage after bathing our kid in the other bath, we paid to have another plumber come out who within 4 minutes clearly diagnosed this as a plumbing issue. In fact, he was stunned another plumber would attribute that degree of leakage to a 'very small grout or tile' issue, which is what June claimed was the problem.

June had no interest in properly diagnosing the problem. He unscrewed our main shower drain, and put the screws somewhere we couldn't find them (or took the 4 little screws with him?), so the drain cover is just sitting there unfixed. He was in and out with the haste of a bank robber.

The lack of professionalism or even interest in feigning professionalism was striking.

Great work, fast reply.. Used our home warranty to provide us with a plumber. Our home warranty is not know for sending quality service, this time they hit a grand slam. Very professional, finished the work in under an hour. If ever again I need a quality plumber and I use my home warranty company I'm asking for Good Neighbor Plumbers. Had all the parts needed without any waste of time. Another quality feature, very very friendly.
