We have been using Dennis and his wife since we bought our place in Flagstaff around 2009. He has consistently done an excellent job for us and has gone above and beyond the call of duty countless times. Last year we had a pipe burst behind the laundry room wall when my cleaning ladies were there (but we were not in town). Dennis was the first call we made and he jumped in his truck and came right over. He was the reason that we didn't have even more serious damage and we will be forever grateful to Dennis and his wife. Recently, we had a potentially serious issue on a Sunday afternoon and he made time on his day off to come and spend half the day fixing the issue for us. It required that he crawl under the house to replace pipes that were very difficult to access. He was very knowledgable about what caused the issue, how to fix it and how to prevent future issues. The price was very reasonable for all the work that was done. I highly recommend Good Neighbor Plumbing. He is always our first choice in Flagstaff.

We had to move a gas line and we called Dennis on Monday and he came by within a couple of hours. He checked the area and gave us an estimate right away. He set up the appointment for today and he was here by 9 am. He worked on the existing gas line termination and the new gas line and he was done before 12 noon.
We have called Dennis and his wife few months ago with installation of a gas line for our gas dryer. And they did a great clean job.
What I love about this small company is that they don't make us wait too long to come and get the job done.

Dennis and Lonnie were fantastic. We needed a new toilet. I called Good Neighbor and they were able to come by within just a few hours, assessed the issue, and returned the very next morning to get the new toilet installed. Coincidentally, our kitchen faucet broke while they were on their way over for the install. He immediately agreed to put in a new faucet for us once the toilet was done. The faucet is high quality and our sprayer now has much better water pressure. They installed the new toilet and faucet in just over an hour total, which was so fast and convenient. Both of them wore masks the entire time, which is more than I can say for any other plumber I've heard about during covid times. Finally, they were pleasant to be around. I am totally confused that there's a review saying he has an attitude! He was kind and conversational. The next time I need a plumber, there's no one else I'd even consider calling.

If I could give zero this jerk would get it. This clown does a plumbing job and calls immediately after to get paid-no bill or write up, no photos--just ""pay me"". I told him he would get paid when I get home from work. While I am at work, he continues to text me and harass me for payment, because clearly he is too stupid to understand the phrase ""when I get home"". After this he sends multiple texts telling me I'm a deadbeat and how threatened he was with all the sewage and toxic waste he had to deal with (Draino build up). This takes a special kind of stupid! What plumber doesn't come prepared to deal with sewage and Draino clogs?? On top of this, he complained to me that his nail beds were infected and how bad he suffered unclogging a sink and shower drain! (insert laughing emoji) Total idiot...I guess he needs his customers to explain to him how gloves work. Stay away from this guy-he's unstable!

This guy may know what he is doing however, he sure has an attitude. After having him out to the house he got mad at my neighbor who wanted to see what he was doing. The second time he gave me an attitude when I asked him to look at another vent from my dryer that needed repair. He acted like he didn't know about that part and was in a hurry to get to another location. I asked him about installing a sink for me, the 3rd time I wanted to have him come out. He was busy and when I said I already purchased the sink, he said that I better have measured it correctly and said he couldn't guarantee that he could do it without breakage. I said forget it and called another plumber. What a jerk.

I had to leave a review for these fine people after I saw the rubbish reviews left before me. If you had not worked it our they are made up by over plumbers trying to hurt this business. I have used these plumbers a number of times over the years and recommended them to family and close friends and guess what. On every occasion we all agreed they are the best plumbers we have used. Four things we all want, fair price, a good job, reliable in attending to your appointment and best of all customers come first. They want you as a long time customer.
One phone call to the office will make you feel important in regards to your plumbing problem. They want to do business with you.

This guy did not tell me until he showed up to do the work that he would not allow me to choose the water heater I wanted, requiring me to buy one from a company he works with. I figured out later that he probably gets a percentage on the sale from that company. He installed a faucet I had purchased for the bathroom sink and did not tell me that the design of the faucet would not allow me to operate the lever that closes the drain because it was set too close to the back of the sink. By the time I noticed this he was gone. Finally, the seal to cold water under sink leaked from the day he installed it.

A Nelson Algren novel says, ""Never play cards with a guy named Doc and never eat at a cafe called Mom's."" I would add ""Never hire a plumber who calls himself Good Neighbor.""

Good Neighbor fit us in to a very tight schedule. The work was high quality and the cost reasonable. I would highly recommend Good Neighbor.

Dennis seems to know what he is doing but he can sport quite the attitude. I had to have him come back 3 times to address same problem of leaking under bathroom sink. On the 2nd time back, he threatened to leave the problem for someone else to fix because I questioned how much he was charging. I had to make peace with him in order to keep him from walking out.
