April 2025.
$180 labor for 5 minutes of work.
$600/hour labor rate.

Plumber from Goodland words upon arrival;
""Oh this will take 5 minutes to unscrew your house pressure regulator and screw in a new one. I have a replacement in the truck"", I thought great it'll be cheap. It was that fast. He did a good job.
$180 labor!
So the plumber said ""they will bill you"". I thought that was suspicious. It was!!
I looked at video, arrival to departure time was 18 minutes. Labor rate $600/hour.

Question you should ask;""Is there a fixed fee for a visit or do you charge an hourly rate?"" Goodland Plumbing will charge you $180 for labor on the shortest possible visit.
Regulator part costs $220 in addition to labor.

A friend recommended we reach out to Goodland Plumbing when our water heater failed. We're so glad we did as Troy showed up the following morning and did an excellent job replacing the water heater and hooking up our recirculating pump. We were very impressed with Troy's knowledge, skill, and confidence in completing the job. So much so that we hired him for a second day to fix a few plumbing issues around our house. We highly recommend Goodland!

They came out on time and did good work for a fair price...the plumber was professional and made money saving suggestions. I would use their services again.

Good Land Plumbing came the same day that I called. Thomas came and did the diagnostic on the leak in our upstairs bathroom. He was very thorough on every potential area where a leak could occur. We were not able to recreate the leak, but Thomas was very knowledgeable and friendly. He spent the time to explain everything that he was doing, so that I wouldn't have any questions after he was done. I would certainly call them again for any plumbing issues.

This review is months overdue. We've just wrapping up a series of major renovations at our new home in SB. I was reflecting on the various subcontractors we've had do work here. Good Land Plumbing... Wow! Head and shoulders above them all. Our utility room (water softener, tankless heaters, HVAC condensate drains, and so on) was a complete jumbled mess. Andy came out and reviewed everything with me. And then his lead man Mike (with colleagues) went to work. Outstanding. Everything is plumb, level, tidy, and elegantly resolved. Our equipment room now looks like a high-end NASA installation. Exactly what I'd hoped for. And as Mike puzzled through the details I never had to look over his shoulder; I had complete confidence in him and his judgement and workmanship. Thank you Mike!!! Absolutely brilliant work!!!

The work done at my house was good but there have been MULTIPLE TIMES over MULTIPLE years that I have called for an appointment and not gotten a response. I am done.

Great Experience!! Excellent and prompt service by Good Land Plumbing. I had two water heaters go down at the same time--the girls at the front desk (Carla & Sylvia) were attentive & kind--and just wonderful to work with! They sent a young man (Justin) whose skills just amazed me! He was super experienced, professional, and knew his stuff!! And such a sweet guy!!! In a time where businesses are short-staffed, short-tempered, or just plain horrible to deal with--Good Land gets 5 stars and I will refer them to everyone I know. Thank you Good Land for such a positive experience and treating me like you care!!! You're now stuck with me forever!!!

Very disappointing experience with Good Land Plumbing before even getting anyone out to our home to analyze a project. Called in mid-Dec to get the project in the works and understandably was told they were busy/booked through the holidays and to call back in the new year to get something scheduled for early in the new year. Jan 2: Called GL with the project information (told by the office associate that my project sounds really difficult... a simple line reroute and 2 exterior hose bibs) and am told I'll get a call back in a few days from a tech. Jan 9: No call received, so I call back again, same experience and previous call/information has essentially been forgotten, but I'm told to wait for a return call again. However, I get an immediate return call from a more knowledgeable associate who informs me that they're very busy, but if I can wait a few weeks, they can schedule someone to come see the scope of work. A date three weeks out is confirmed (1/30) for them to come by ""sometime in the afternoon"". Today (1/30): Home from work for the afternoon for the appt and receive a text at 2:30pm saying they won't be coming by and are now 2-3 months out for new projects, versus the 1 month I was originally told. I've been patient and respectful of their time/instructions, wish I could receive the same in return. Going to look elsewhere at this point.
