After 2 other HVAC companies no call and no showed. I contacted Good Guys for a furnace turn up. They made me a reasonable appointment date. On the day of appointment I received a text message letting me know a showtime. The repair man ( Devon ) showed at the exact minute in which he was scheduled.

Devon perform the schedule service and then went above and beyond helping me diagnose a thermostat failure that was caused by myself, without trying to upsell or commission more work.

He spent considerable time teaching me how to properly maintain and run my system for Longevity.

My furnace is running better than ever. The service cost was exactly as agreed upon. I could not be more happy with the Good Guys.

I first used Good Guys on a rental to diagnose a water leak. Jediah was professional, showed up on-time and gave me a fair assessment of the needed repairs. I was so happy with the service I contacted them again to install a whole house water perifier and softener. I will continue to use them and feel comfortable referring my friends and family to them.

Do Not call this company. I called for 3 toilets to be fixed because the water kept running. The guy showed up & long story short, he ""fixed 2 of them"". He said he couldn't find anything wrong with the 3rd. Days later they were all running again. We called to see if someone would come back & were told we would have to pay another trip charge. We lived with them by shutting them off each time they were used. the charge us $587. for everything. We finally called a plumber in Johnstown & he fixed all of them with new parts for less then $100.!

These guys are great. Very thorough and I appreciate their knowledge. However, they are SOOOO expensive. I was quoted twice the price for a new water heater and a couple other add-ons than the other two plumbing places that quoted me. 200 bucks a PIECE for kitchen sink shutoff valves?? Cuse me.

I had a ceiling leak in my house. I've called and requested a service. The front desk employee said she will contact a technician. Three hours later, still don't hear back. So I've called again, the dispatcher said she will contact the technician again. Next minute, the technician calls and apologizes that apparently they never received the first dispatch and to add to that, nobody can come out tonight. So basically, I have wasted three hours while my house is falling apart waiting on help from these people.... Wow! Now, it's very late and I have to pay someone to come out in the evening and pay the after hours price.

On July 27th we made an appointment though Bill for HVAC and plumbing work. Bill recommended Jake.
Jake gave us a quote for two freezeless faucets and 2 mini-split hookups. The total was $1475. I had received two other bids and Good Guys was about 30 to 40% higher than the others, but I chose to go with Good Guys as it could be quickly done.
About 2 hours after Jake arrived I heard this awful swearing and the once kind and polite Jake was now stomping back and forth on my deck talking on the phone. I called Bill's (The owner) cell, but he did not answer. So, I waited in my house, spooked by Jake's rage, watching him come in and out of my home no longer knocking. I have no idea what set him off, maybe he was taking too long on our job? I had the impression he was talking to his boss. I hope not as the language was horrible.
At any rate. When my oldest son got home he saw trash, plasticine along with some copper cuttings strewn on the deck, there were unit hookups left off of one install. My dogs could have gotten into this stuff. We determined that the faucets were complete but the furnace/air conditioner hookup was not finished per the instructions.
All Bill offered was an air conditioning cleaning if I would not post any negative reviews. He became just as aggressive as his employee.

We had a last-minute plumbing emergency and Good Guys took care of us. From the dispatcher to the final product, everything was handled very quickly and professionally. Jake, the plumber, even managed to get himself into parts of our crawlspace we didn't think were reachable by a human! Very pleased with every part of this experience...these are really Good Guys.

If you want excuses and overcharges, Hire him. if not find someone who knows how to plumb and think reasonably when he estimates the work. He has to learn about running a business.

Honest trustworthy!!! Great work. I can't say enough good things about these guys. They fixed my furnace and fixed a plumbing issue I had.
