When drain clog and can't use showers it's hard on any family. Found the answer!! Good Guy plumbing answered me back in less than 5 minutes with a quote. I requested 5 quotes and you can read my other reviews but if need Plumber Here they are. Robert the owner emailed me his number and I called. Job completed by Roque in less than 45 minutes. They adjusted their schedule to match my availability and a went well. Mr Roque was very professional, and a fast efficient worker. Good Guy Plumbing is THE BEST service! We had water leaking onto our garage floor non-stop, and two worst-case scenarios ran through our minds: 1) a slab leak, where the concrete floor would have to be broken through and we'd have a bill we got queasy just thinking about, or 2) a leak from inside the wall, possibly coming from our 3rd floor bathroom sink (and with this one, we pictured water damage and mold running down the whole height of the house). We looked up plumbers and came up with Good Guy Plumbing as the best-sounding choice.

Well, they actually WERE the best choice. When I called, Robert was so kind and courteous on the phone, assuring me that they'd take good care of us. I've been used to dealing with plumbers who couldn't come until the next day or even later, or who say they're going to call me back once they check their availability but never do, and I actually have to call them several times to get a single appointment. So imagine my surprise when GGP made the appointment for the same day, and how I was even more surprised that in less than two minutes of hanging up, they sent me a text confirming the appointment and letting me know (with name and photo) who would be coming for the repair. So efficient!

They gave me an appointment time with a 2-3 hour window, but Ernie (the plumber who came) arrived on the dot, if not a few minutes earlier. (They also sent a text about 15 min. before letting me know he was en route.) When he arrived, he was great -- knowledgeable, very helpful and courteous. I showed him what was going on in the garage and told him we suspected a leak from the top floor. The good news was he traced the leak (and spotted another one on the verge) to just below the 1st floor ceiling. While he worked he explained to me how the type of copper pipe used in our wall is the kind that can spring leaks early, and told me what we might expect in the future and options to consider. He wasn't trying to sell me anything either -- he showed a genuine concern and gave me information I could refer to down the line, whether I used GGP again or not. He also explained what he was doing and why, and answered every question I had, which I really appreciated.

I was still concerned about the top floor bathroom because there were signs of possible leaking from there. So after he was done in the garage I asked him to have a look. He did and showed me how each of the signs was more likely caused by other things: the lack of a rain gutter possibly causing a water mark on the wall (since no pipe would be in that section), grout broken not from moisture but old age, and a hairline crack that was letting condensation get in behind the bathroom wallpaper, causing a water stain. But he said there was no actual leak, which was (hallelujah!) more than a relief.

In all, he did a fantastic job! Very fair and very honest. The leak is fixed, and even more, we have peace of mind. Thank you, Ernie -- Thank you, GGP!!!
