Highly recommend Good Guy Plumbing for their prompt, efficient, professional and caring service! We experienced a gas leak and had gas shut off for days before we finally found Good Guy Plumbing. Ernie and Mario were on the job right away, worked to locate the leak and replaced almost 100 feet of gas pipe for two units in our complex. They excavated trenches without having to remove existing concrete walkways, which saved time and money. They also found additional gas connections for other units in the complex that needed to be replaced due to corrosion, and they worked efficiently to replace them as well.
After all work was complete they provided excellent service to ensure all gas appliances were back on and working for each of the 9 units affected. We are very pleased with the service and have even engaged them for additional plumbing work in our complex. We will be using Good Guy Plumbing for all plumbing needs in our complex from now on!

I used Good Guy last year Oct. 2021 and my clogged was cleared very nicely by JJ. However, they have no record of this visit and apparently do not know who JJ is. But having had success with the one call after another plumber failed to clear the clog in the sink line last year, I had them come this year when the sink stopped draining again. Unfortunately, I had to leave and they were not able to get the line cleared and the sink remained clogged when they left. It turns out that my reverse osmosis unit had caused lime buildup inside the pipe which is why the regular drain cleaners were not working nor was the snake, their's or mine. I'm not sure the pressure hose would have worked any better to remove the lime. So I finally got a gallon of vinegar and poured that down the drain and used my own snake in the pipe to move the vinegar down the water column then I took the snake out. The drain started to work a little but then stopped up again. So I put my 25' snake in again and hit a hard spot. I hit on it using the snake as a plunger and when it broke thru the water FINALLY drained properly. I now have a clear drain. I could have saved myself the $200 for poor service if I had figured out the lime thing a lot sooner. I will chock this up to a $200 lesson what only needed a gallon jug of vinegar at $3.30.

Our water heater burner went out on our Whirlpool water heater and Caesar and Junior replaced it with a Bradford/White in the rain. Prior installation wasn't up to code so they fixed the code problems.

Had a leaky bathroom faucet. Plumber broke my valve under the sink. Charge to repair valve was $335. Estimate to repair the drip was $425. Over $700 to repair a drip? Left message for owner to return my call...it's been 3 weeks. No return call.

Finally got a response from the owner. Very reasonable person. He understood what I went through and he refunded me my $335? My leaky faucet repaired by another plumber.

Prices are just outrageous! They originally quoted me $396 to replace the wax seal on my toilet. Then they came back and said the flange needed to be replaced and now the price was $789 !! The flange is a $15 part. It is just placed in the drain pipe and secured with 4 screws. That's it. And for that they wanted another $400. After a call back to the office they brought the price down to $700. At that point I was stuck as they had it pulled apart and I agreed to the initial work. They were done is less than an hour. I called the office talked to the manager. He confirmed that is their standard pricing and I am paying for their efficiency and expertise. What BS. It is a flange secured with 4 screws. I just feel robbed.

I recently had a leak in my laundry room and couldn't get ahold of my usual plumber. Good Guys had great reviews so I decided to try them out. I was able to speak with someone immediately and they scheduled a time for the plumbers to come out. Ernie and Mario showed up on time, were able to determine the problem, and fix it quickly. I'm very happy with their service and will definitely be using them for future work.

Review update/improvement:
After talking with the owner and reading his offer to make good for the timing problems we had, I agreed to have the same men who worked here before come back and fix the water leaking out of my bathroom faucet handles.
Today they came, on time, with the ordered parts, did the job well as far as I can tell now, and as promised Robert (owner) gave me the 10% discount.

It's rare to have an owner offer to make good as opposed to burying a negative review far down on the read-list and just ignoring it. Bravo!

I called Good Guy Plumbing with an urgent need with a backed up main line and they helped me get quick service. My initial appointment was a couple of days out, but I began to have a spill thanks to my kids, so Tami worked me into their busy schedule. JJ & Hector came out to help me with the blockage and it was due to roots at 93 feet from the entry point. These guys were fantastic and worked hard to solve a rather complicated problem. We ended up hydro-jetting the line from the roof and the video showed a clean line. I wouldn't hesitate to call them back. I liked that they didn't try to sell me extra stuff I didn't need. These guys were Fast and Efficient. I had to get out of their way because I was slowing them down. :) They're not jusy Good Guys, they're Great Guys and it's a company that I can highly recommend. -Kevin
