Recommended Customer Reviews

Consumer beware. We hired Good Flow for an inspection. They lied to us about our plumbing and way over quoted us. We had to get a second opinion and sent out a second company. The second company confirmed we didn't have any issues with photos. We called back to Good Flow to ask them for pictures as the original quote did not have any photos. They said pictures are only provided if asked beforehand prior to the inspection (how would we know that) so they didn't have any. Horrible customer service and definitely not professional. Anyways, long story short, I highly do not recommend Good Flow. Idon't want anyone to go through the horrible experience we went through. This is a shady company and trying to make money using scare tactics. Also, read other people's reviews as their stories are very similar to mine.

Great work timely appt , high prices as job was only to replace 6inches of pipe, hole already dug but charged premium price.

I had a great experience with Goodflow. We had a tank-type hot water heater replaced with a tankless.
I've used several plumbing companies over the years I've been both a homeowner and and a landlord. Goodflow has been the best, and I will definitely be using them again.

I never write yelp reviews so that in itself is about the best compliment I can give. They are so good it compelled me to tell the internet about it. I've used Goodflow three times now and have been very happy each time, with their services, their pricing and their personnel. They are the only plumbing service I recommend.

Mark came and unclogged an upstairs sink that I had fruitlessly tried to unplug a few hours the night before. The sink drain doubles as the drain for my A/C so I was anxious to get it fixed. They got it done in a half hour, gave me suggestions on how to reduce future clogs and cleaned up well. Only four stars since they arrived 30 minutes after the four hour arrival window that they gave me, but great work!

CON ARTISTS!!!!
Good Flow Plumbing conducted a "water test" (per the invoice) on our sewer lines and claimed that the test failed. We have lived in our home for 13 years and have NEVER had a problem with the sewer lines. The only reason a test was done in the first place was due to our home being on the market. The buyer requested to have a hydrostatic test of the lines done before the option period expired (completely reasonable). Good Flow proceeded to quote $40,000 for repairs/replacement, even though they couldn't even identify where the supposed leak was. We contacted another plumber to get a second opinion since the invoice details/bid seemed absolutely bogus (the details amounted to one line)! I've worked in property management for over 15 years and a $40,000 quote is absolutely absurd! The second plumber tested the line (at our expense) AND IT PASSED. Just for peace of mind, we also had them conduct a video test (at our expense) with a camera just to be sure that there weren't any leaks that could have potentially been missed. They confirmed that there weren't any leaks with the video test as well. To be clear, we would never want to sell our home to someone if we knew there were deficiencies that weren't taken care of beforehand. We contacted our insurance company who said they would cover any replacements/repairs if there truly was a leak as Good Flow Plumbing had claimed, but THERE WEREN'T ANY LEAKS per the 2nd plumbing company. At that point there was no way that we were going to submit a fraudulent claim to our insurance company just to satisfy the buyer. This is truly unfortunate. Not only did the buyer miss out on a wonderful home, but now our house is back on the market due to Good Flow Plumbing's dishonesty. If you're looking for an ethical company, please keep searching.

We moved into a new home and had a few plumbing issues. These guys were very reasonably priced. They were also able to come out the very next day! I will use them again and recommend them to my friends!

I was quoted 950$ for a 4 hour job. Extend the gas line from the attic 10 feet under to the laundry room. Other plumbers quoted me ~500$. Anyone reading this, please send me info on an honest company that'll charge what the work is worth. I've had different plumbers tack on an extra $350 to secure a permit, which only costs 50$ according to the city of Austin. Ridiculous

We had a clogged kitchen sink drain and they sent a team out very quickly after I requested a quote via Yelp. They fixed the issue and were even careful not to track any dirt into the house. We ended up asking them to look at our toilet, which wasn't securely seated, and they did a fix on that without charging extra. Prompt, honest, and with competitive prices. Will call them again for any future issues.

Asked Good Flow to investigate cause of water seepage in house and to provide homeowner with sewer video on a flash drive. Good Flow did NOT determine the cause of the water leak, did not provide a written report, and gave us a blank video flash drive. Charged me $350 for less than 45 minutes on site. Refused to return any of my 7 phone calls. In short, I got nothing but a hefty bill and a contractor who will not stand behind their work or return my calls.
