Adam was great. He replaced two shutoff valves under the kitchen sink and installed a new faucet for the kitchen sink. I was originally going to replace a third valve (for the dishwasher), but he convinced me it would be a waste of money, as my old dishwasher uses an older sized hose / valve, and the valve would need to be replaced again anyway when I choose to replace the dishwasher. Workmanship was great, faucet and valves work great. (It's been a couple weeks already.)

Coincidentally, a few days later, I had an unrelated plumbing emergency. An underground pipe had started leaking onto the concrete foundation wall, water seeped through the wall, into the garage and then the basement. Adam came right out to take a look (no fee, no commitment) and told me to get a leak detection company to mark where the leak was originating. He also gave me good advice: 1) to buy a water meter valve tool (""meter key"") so I could turn off the water at night to try to keep the flooding minimized, and 2) to use a wet vac to try to contain things as best as possible. When the leak detection company finished, Adam came right back out to start digging, and finished the job the next day (when he originally thought he would be busy!).

Overall, very satisfied with both jobs and his responsiveness. He was also very cooperative with my request to be masked whenever inside the house.

There's no question that Adam is super smart and a pro. He came out to my house after I panicked that something was seriously wrong with my pipes/flow setup when my toilet wouldn't flush properly.

He took one look and said I was in luck, it wasn't my pipes. All I needed to do was to keep a snake on hand and expect the occasional backup, given how small my toilet was. I was so grateful for all the knowledge he shared and for his expert take on my situation. Highly recommend!

Water was leaking from our wall into the basement, so I called several plumbers and leak detection companies. We were worried we had a breach in the mainline. I called Goldstar Plumbing based on a referral from an outdoor plumbing company. Adam spent several minutes talking to me on the phone, getting info about our home and its plumbing system. I could tell that he was knowledgable and just a nice guy, so I cancelled the other appointments I had lined up, and sent him a photo of the leaky pipe. He immediately called me back and helped me diagnose the problem as ground water coming in through the opening where the mainline enters the house. With some sealant, we were able to fix the issue ourselves and saved a huge amount of money. The leak detection company would have charged us $400 to come out. Thank you Adam! Most helpful plumber in the area!

Adam is a skilled and versatile plumber, and works and thinks like an engineer. He was able to help us install a tankless water heater in a small attic with only hatch access, remove the old tank heater using pulleys, and also install a concentric vent system with a custom elbow attachment. He also quickly installed an air gap on our kitchen sink including drilling a hole into a quartz countertop. And above all he is very responsive and reasonable with his rates. I highly recommend Adam and Goldstar for any plumbing job.

We had a leak in our circulation pump, and requested quotes from multiple companies. Adam came recommended to us by another sewer plumber. Adam was quick to respond, easy to schedule, and was on time for both his free consultation and the actual appointment. Most importantly, Adam is knowledgeable, experienced, and explains things in a manner that is easy to understand. While on site, he pointed out a few other issues with the plumbing that are not code compliant, but gave us time to think through our plan and decide if we wanted the additional services. He inspected the completed work carefully and cleaned up the area. I highly recommend Adam and would definitely use his service again!

Adam at Goldstar Plumbing was able to come to our place immediately. We needed to fix a pinhole leak in some copper piping in the wall of our closet. He quickly diagnosed the problem, and spliced new pipe into both the hot and cold lines, to make doubly sure the problem was fixed right the first time. I highly recommend Goldstar.

4 times I have had Goldstar Plumbing out to my house. Once to fix another plumbers mistake, once for a literal emergency, once to install a faucet, and once to install gas lines from my propane tank to my generator. Not only is it professional in quality and design, but the call backs and checking in, the being open to communication, and the personable interactions make what can be a high stress situation, under wraps. What you need in addition to good craftsmanship, is a person that can keep you calm and help you feel like what is a current disaster, will soon be a tackled issue. 100% would recommend and will be using again.

We had new countertops installed and needed a plumber to install the kitchen faucet and garbage disposal and hook up the drain pipes.
Adam did a great job with the install and told us we need to have an airgap for the dishwasher. Since the countertop guys forgot to drill an extra hole, Adam drilled a hole for the airgap and installed one for us.
We are happy with the service and price and will recommend Goldstar plumbing to our friends!
