Val from Golden Valley Plumbing did an amazing job with my Rinnai tankless water heater. I had a ""Code 11"" error that kept coming on and off. When it was on, I did not have any hot water. Val came to my house and gave an annual descaling / cleaning of the water heater. Unfortunately, this does not solve the issue as the ""Code 11"" came back. Then, he came back again and did a deep burner cleaning inside the tankless water heater. It was very dusty inside and this fixed the issue as the ""Code 11"" error has not come on after the deep cleaning. Val was very friendly and knowledgeable of the plumbing issues at hand. The price was very reasonable as well. I highly recommend Val for any of your plumbing issues.

We were very pleased with the end result.

Val is punctual, easy to work with, experience, knowledgeable, honest and very diligent. He explained what he will be doing, which is exactly all the things stated by Rinnai the manufacturer and he showed me a few tips that was not even listed any place else.
He uses food grade White Vinegar as Recommended by Rinnai, most other Rinnai certified PRO uses Descaler which is chemical solution.

We definitely will be calling him back not only for future yearly maintenance but other Plumbing related matters.

Our project was to finish upgrading the house hot water system by adding new hot water lines and a recirculation pump. The project had new electrical requirements, too.
Val exceeded my expectations, which were pretty high! He answered questions, explained the process, and I could trust him to do the right thing in the right way. He was prepared with the right parts and equipment.
Additionally, he took time to fix a small unrelated matter he noticed in the attic. Thank you for that!

My water heater began leaking and needed to be replaced. I started looking for bids, and Val came out within a few hours. He explained all the work that needed to be done. His bid was several hundred dollars under the others I got. I texted him on a Sunday evening that I wanted them to do the job. He had men at my house the next morning and the job was finished by early afternoon. These guys are great. Fast, fair, and friendly. I highly recommend them.

Val communicated promptly and clearly with me, gave a two hour arrival window and then texted 35 min prior to arrival with the specific arrival time. He was pleasant to work with, cleared a difficult sink blockage and cleaned everything meticulously after. Price was equal to estimate, despite the blockage taking an hour to clear, and in the range given by other plumbers I called prior.
I have a new plumber and will call Golden Valley Plumbing for all future plumbing needs.
