After getting a call my appointment had been canceled due to the tech calling out Brandy worked her magic to get Ruben out. Ruben was very professional and did a great job. Excellent customer service.

This is a TERRIBLE company. I would give 0 stars if I could. They are dishonest and unprofessional. They caused damage to my faucet hardware, by not protecting it when trying to pry off the handles. Instead of admitting their error, the owner Tracy yelled and hung up the phone on me. I am now going to proceed with escalating this matter to the legal department of my home warranty company to resolve this issue. I wish I had read the previous poor Google and Better Business Bureau reviews before allowing my home warranty company to contract with Golden State Plumbing.

DO NOT UTILIZE THIS BUSINESS!!!! Save your money and go elsewhere. They do not follow through on issues. After the technician left he knew the pipe would still be leaking, so he said to call the office back to let them know because that was all he could do. I immediately called back the same day and never got a reply. I followed up a couple days later and they acted like this was the first time they heard of my issue. I called back another business day later and they said they would call me back within a day. Never heard from them. Called back again and was told my issue would be expedited and they would call back before end of business day but surprise surprise.... NOTHING!!!

We had a foundation leak at my house. Golden State plumbing came in and fixed the issue timely. Now I am waiting for a day or two to see if there are any more leaks. Our service guy was Nick, and he was truly professional and knew what he was doing. He was also clean and didn't leave a mess behind. He was timely and explained the situation and what he was doing. Highly recommended!

Placed a service request through our home warranty. This company was assigned our service request. The window was from 8-12. At 12:30, I called to follow up because the plumber hadn't arrived yet. The receptionist informed me that the plumber did come and knocked but no one answered. Apparently, he could hear my children inside of the house but we didn't hear a knock at all. We have dogs that bark at the slightest noise, so I am confused by the arrival and apparent knocking getting past all of us.
When I talked with the office manager about the issue, I asked why the technician hadn't called me to verify that I was home. She literally said ""we come, we knock, that's it. It's not our job to babysit you"". Extremely rude and unprofessional. I had been working with my children with their online schooling. Perhaps I didn't hear an initial knock, but had the tech actually tried to knock louder or ring the doorbell, we would have heard it. We are the customer and there is no reason to take such a condescending tone. Other companies call with a 20 minute warning prior to arrival. I would never recommend this company. If your home warranty assigns them, you can call back and request a different provider.

If I honestly could put ZERO stars I would. Horrible, horrible , horrible customer service! I had someone come out to to do some repair work on a drain plug for the master bath. I am no plumber, however I just replaced some parts not even a month ago. They came out and threw my stuff away and stated they were not compatible and that they needed to be replaced. So I called the office at 209-557-9700 and this female customer service agent was not even trying to explain to me the logic behind replacing my items. Not only was she laughing at me, she mocked me over the phone, discredited my knowledge, and had the audacity to hang up on me abruptly. I'm outraged ! I calmly called back and requested to speak with the manager/supervisor/owner only to be told that the mgr is out of the building. Crappy service. I Do NOT recommend Golden State Plumbing whatsoever under any circumstances period.

Golden State have done lots of work in my house. From the start of the appointment scheduled, they have been awesome with their communication through texting to tell me of the status and progress and availability. The technician arrived on time, took care of the work, cleaned up the mess and hauled away all the trash.
They also converted my regular water heater to a tankless one. One of the best decisions I made.
I highly recommend Golden State plumbing and will utilize their services all the time.

I used my home warranty for the first time for my plumbing after having a waterfall under my kitchen sink. I had also turned off the water in my garage sink due to a leak. Golden State Plumbing Service set up an appointment with me within 3O minutes of me reporting an issue to my home warranty. They came out within 24 hours and fixed everything, I highly recommend Ruben from Service State Plumbing Service!!

Our toilet was leaking and running--we called our home warranty company (American Home Shield) and they set us up with Golden State Plumbing Service. We couldn't be happier with the quality service we've received from Johnathan Garcia ""Johnny."" Our toilet was a challenge because it is older and had a combination of issues. Johnny just took a quick look and he knew exactly how to fix it. We are impressed and grateful by his outstanding skills, diligence, efficiency, and professionalism. Johnny represents Golden State Plumbing a Service very well and he gave us today another reason to be grateful to have AHS as our Home Warranty Company. We have been with AHS a few years already and each time we have called for service we have been happy with skillful professionals they sent to help us and also with the efficient service they provide.

hello my name is Rafael Garcia and I had the worse experience with GOLDEN STATE PLUMBING they sent a tech named Ruben who took pictures of my water heater and wrote down all the information to replace it through our home warranty company. a girl named Brandy called us a few days later to ask how our water heater was working ( she thought that Ruben had fixed it), I explained that he never touched it and said it needed to be replaced she said they were going to send another tech with more experience to look at it again. at that point I had being without hot water for more than a week and I explained as much only to be talked to very disrespectfully by BRANDY they kept lying to the home warranty company for two more weeks saying they were going to come out to replace the water heater. when I would call the warranty company they would put me on hold so they could call GOLDEN STATE PLUMBING only to say they spoke to JESSICA and they were coming out the next day, this went on for almost a month now. today I called the warranty company and they put me on hold while they call them, they told me they would not use this company again because they were very unresponsive. I called GOLDEN STATE PLUMBING and got yelled at by TRACY the MANAGER saying that they were very busy and did not need my business. if I were a home owner or a warranty company I would really hesitate to use this company until they get more respectful of their customers or get better office staff
