My hot water heater tank started leaking, so I called my home warranty company and they set me up with Golden State Plumbing Services, Inc. I was a little worried about this plumbing company after reading some of the reviews on Yelp and Google, but both guys (one sent to diagnose the problem, one to install the new water heater) were very nice and very knowledgeable about what they were doing. The guy installing the new hot water heater also taught me some stuff (I'm new to home ownership) that I needed to know. He was very friendly, and he did a great job. Definitely happy with the service I received from GSPS.

Warning!!!!This place is horrible and get no stars, they are all about the money. Please don't use this company. They installed a water softener for me about a year ago and the guy was lazy and did not properly put a clamp on that attaches the hose to the pump causing leaking. Being that the system only comes on at night I didn't notice the leaking, and the unit is in the garage. when I did notice it the wall and sheetrock was damaged pretty bad. I had them come out to take a look at it and the guy acknowledged the damage but wanted me to pay a $100 deductible. I have a home warranty plan and they stated that I didn't need to pay the deductible. I then called Traci the manager and tried to calmly explain to her the cause and mentioned that I took pictures before and after. She didn't want to hear it because she would not get paid for the job, she then hung up on me. I then called Traci back and she became very aggressive and rude, literally screaming at me telling me that they are not responsible for the damages and will not be coming back out by any means. I tried to calm her down but she just became more enraged and screaming then hung up the phone again.
This place lacks skill and professionalism and have extremely poor customer service, horribly rude.

If I could give them a ""0"" I would. Terrible company to work with. Yes, I got an appointment pretty quickly. The plumber was courteous and quick. I wish I would have reviewed the reviews prior to letting them into my house. It's funny how they have many negative reviews and the ones that are positive seem to be a response to the negative. Don't know just saying. Long story short, they came to repair something in my shower and they ended up damaging the pipe by drilling too much. They never took responsibility. When addressing my concerns to Tracy, she automatically started to shout and wouldn't let me speak. I didn't accuse I just basically said, the new big leak we had started right after the repair. Eventually, I was able to get another company to come in and they did the job right the first time. They also showed me the pipe with the freshly drilled pipe. I was nursing my baby so I didn't get to ask to keep it to show a picture and my husband didn't think to ask. Moral lesson learned, look at reviews prior to hiring anyone. RUN THE OTHER WAY PEOPLE

I reccomend Golden State for your plumbing needs. The manager Tracy went beyond the call of duty when I needed my warranted tankless water heater replaced. She felt with my home warranty, the manufacturer and several other persons to help me get the hot water on in my home. I will definitely call again for my service need. Thanks Tracy.

Horrible experience. My home warranty sent them for a service call. Brian the plumber came to check out my bath tub issue, he turnt up the water heater and said thats all. I explained to him the issue and he stated that's all he could do and didn't even check for any other possible issue. He went on to say he would never take bath and also that he works for a female boss and she acts like she knows what she's doing and he has 30 yrs of experience, very Irritative. He basically came to turn up the heater and ripped apart my water heater cover. I was charged $75, very unprofessional business.

FINALLY A PLUMBER THAT IS WORTH 5 i was so frustrated with my insurance company( which is different story ) after horrible company after horrible company sent out... I finally found that diamond in the rough! I got order in late Sunday night with American home shield for a expedited emergency situation with my water heater to golden state as my 2nd opinion situation. When this company was assigned I not only got a call from Jessica within 15 minutes of that order being processed but I had an appointment first thing Monday morning at 8 AM. We had to stay in a hotel all weekend(mind you our daughter had prom Saturday in middle of this disaster which did not help the situation)because we had no water at all. our appointment was at 8a so we got home right at 8 thinking we'd be waiting but to our surprise Jimmy was sitting in our driveway! Wow on time what a wonderful first best impression. After walking into the garage he immediately could see there was many issues going on, one being that the previous company that came out to look at the water heater should have drained it so we wouldn't have secondary damage to our home because of all the water leaking. He took the time to drain our water heater and proceeded to find the issue. This was our second opinion company and when we went over the charges the first company was saying we needed he agreed that those were ridiculous over charges and not needed. We went from a $1500 estimate from a company that I didn't even feel comfortable with to a $400 estimate with a company that has been beyond professional. Needless to say we got our approval and within 24 hours I have a new water heater installed and running water again. This company far exceeded my expectations and deserves way more than five stars. I highly recommend them to anyone that is caught in such a horrible situation like we were. Way to go you guys keep up the amazing job!!!

Jake came out on 12/31/18. I had dinner plans at home when I was given my appointment. Jake was professional, very quick and took care of the issue. I appreciate his efficiency and we carried on and didn't notice him repairing the garbage disposal. Job well done.

We live in a 60-year-old house and today was another very professional visit by Golden State Plumbing. My experience with this company has always been positive from start to finish. Jimmy has helped us with many issues when you're dealing with an older Home. I highly recommend them for any plumbing problems.

We went on vacation to come home to water in our garage. We do have a home warranty and they sent our call to Golden State Plumbing. Yes it did cost us some out of pocket for modifications that needed to be done, since our original was 20 years old. They got us a new one in one day! Then a week later I came home from work about an hour after my husband left to our garage filled with water and all down the wall. I called Golden State after hours and they jumped right on it and sent Jimmie out, he got here within 20 minutes found the problem and fixed it right away. He was very professional and knew his stuff. I would highly recommend them to anyone and will use them if we need them again.
