You can't go wrong with Golden State Plumbing! Cameron has come out twice to install a new faucet and dishwasher. He patiently answers all of my questions and is super friendly and professional. I got the wrong size dishwasher and it would have been a huge pain to return it, but he did some maneuvering and made it work.
Keep in mind that they might show up late because understandably the appointments before can run late, but it's worth the wait because they do a great job.
I also like that there is a chat feature within the text invite to ask about ETA.

Typically there is a worker we like that comes to help us with our plumbing but he was on vacation and the office management is horrible. A new guy came and let me know the fee and I agreed. I left him cash but he said to call the office because they don't except cash. When I did, they charged not even close to the rate what the plumber originally told me and we agreed. Watch out guys they charge the time the plumber comes, the job, the time spent and they charge the plumber leaving to get back. And the over charge the time getting to point A and point B and back to point A. I will not be using these services again.

I waited 2 days for a call back I got the excuse waiting to hear back for American Home Warranty... never recd a callback! First when the gentleman came out he told my husband he didn't have the equipment to flush it out! Nothing was said we need auth for a clean out and now they want to charge $600 to clean out! Smh

Amazing work by Cameron W. This young man knew his stuff. We had an issue with our old water heater and Cameron came and replaced our water heater with a new one. Air pressure caused a pipe to burst in our bathroom ceiling pipe which dripped from the ceiling into the bottom of the bathroom cabinet floor and flooded into our bedroom. Cameron was able to locate the source of the problem and immediately fix the issue! It didn't take long at all-about 3 1/2 hours tops. He gave honest feedback on what the issue was which is helpful to know when we contact our insurance. I want to thank Golden State Plumbing for hiring young talented, reliable, and humble people like Cameron to give 5 start quality service! We appreciate it!

Lets be honest, what they do when it comes to plumbing issues (toilet) is very disgusting.

I had a nightmare with a different plumbing company and I got reassigned to Golden State b/c the previous company couldn't do the job.

Anyhow they cleared my blocked pipes with a 75ft snake!

I rarely take the time to leave reviews on here, but felt that I should leave this review for the public. If I could leave more than five stars, I would. We had a very difficult and trying plumbing issue and had called four other plumbers out. We went through our home warranty company which happens to be Old Republic (Ellen Peterson), Who is excellent to deal with :-), they sent to us Golden State Plumbing out of Modesto. The technician whose name is Jimmie was very thorough and very knowledgeable in his profession. He even went above and beyond his job to take the time to explain what he was doing and how he was fixing things. I will definitely use this company again and refer them to friends and family. Kudos to the company and especially Jimmie Powers who is the plumber they sent. Thank you again so much :-)

Golden State Plumbing pleasantly surprised me. I was looking at the reviews on Yelp, and was hesitant, but I also know how these reviews go sometimes, so I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. PROFESSIONAL, FRIENDLY STAFF, TIMELY, FOLLOW-THROUGH WAS AMAZING, WORKED WITH MY TENANT - WOULD DEFINITELY DO BUSINESS AGAIN WITH THEM!!
They have knowledgeable technicians, they were HONEST...I know this because my tenant knows about water heaters, and the office was INCREDIBLE. Huge shout-out to Stephanie and Theresa who work tirelessly to get through and with my flaky warranty company. I was completely satisfied with the work done, and a new name brand water heater was installed quickly for my tenant.
NOTE: While we are on the subject, please do not downgrade the service provider, when the real issue is your warranty company. That's not fair. GOLDEN STATE PLUMBING IS A 10/10 COMPANY!

They send a person out to unstop my sewer line . The guy didn't have the tools to do the job but wanted to experiment! LOL No kidding ! DO NOT USE THESE CLOWNS ! They will waste your time !

Called company for sewer main clog. They came out and we're unsuccessful with the repair. The low rating is for the simple fact of the plumber leaving the job without installing the cap. All dirty water was draining on the side of my house. When called them back out to install the cap they flat out refused to return. Installing the cap is a basic that any first year plumber should know. Poor service equals poor review. Avoid this company at all costs!
