There is nothing worse than a NO SHOW!
Appointment confirmed 7 days prior to installation, on the day of the appointment I waited and waited and no one showed up. I called and was told that they are cancelling without prior notice or reason why.
7 days without a toilet and time wasted from time off work. Irresponsible and unreliable

We called Golden State Plumbing when our hot water heater died. Matt came out within a couple of days, which was pretty impressive since we live near Camptonville where others have told us we're out of their service area. He brought everything he needed and completed the job quickly and professionally. He even brought a heavy-duty hydraulic compression tool so that he could complete the job without having to use a flame in our small utility room. He explained everything as he proceeded and stayed until he was confident the system was working perfectly. That was several days ago and we have had no problems. What a relief to know who to call if we have other plumbing problems!

Matt did a marvelous job installing our new toilet this morning. He picked it up from Fergusons and arrived right on time, and charged about half the $ another (large) plumbing company estimated. Very pleasant and efficient; we will use him for any future plumbing needs - our house is 40+ years old, so there will likely be more plumbing in our future!

Matt was so wonderful to work with. He was thorough and did the job correctly. We used the company to hook a gas line up from our propane tank into our generator. We had several quotes and he gave the most reasonable estimate by far. He arrived when he said he would and finished the job quickly. I'd definitely recommend and would use again for plumbing needs in the future.

After about 12 years of service my tankless water heater started leaking. I got quotes from three plumbers and Matt's was by far the most reasonable. The other plumbers were immediately available to install the water heater, but I had to wait for Matt as he was booked into the next week. I have two tankless water heater circuits and was able to connect the two together so as not to be without hot water.

Matt said he'd arrive between 9:00 and 10:00 a.m. and arrived at exactly 9:00. He took the time to explain what he was going to do and why. The existing gas connector and valve were undersized so he replaced them with a larger size. He removed the old unit and installed the new one. The previous installation had no protection for the PEX water lines where they entered the metal enclosure and could potentially rub against the metal and become damaged, so Matt added protection.

During and after the installation Matt gave detailed answers to questions I had, including questions not related to the tankless water heater installation.

After the installation I asked Matt if he'd mind going into the crawlspace to turn off the valve connecting the two hot water circuits together. No problem! Going into the crawlspace is one of my most dreaded homeowner tasks.

I know now why Matt was booked out so far; he's a good plumber and a nice person. His phone number has a permanent spot in my contacts list.
