Gary the Plumber AKA Golden State Plumbing is a real gem! We had a minor (non-emergency) leak in our toilet and contacted Gary. He quickly evaluated the issue and was able to get the problem fixed in short order. Gary is also a font of knowledge and gave us numerous pointers about maintenance and cleaning that were very valuable. He pointed out that the original toilet install was poorly done and even though he fixed the leak for us we are planning to have him return and also do the additional work to make it right for the long haul. We highly recommend him.

I almost hate to share Gary with a review, but he deserves it. He knows what he's doing and does things right. He goes out of his way to be affordable. He fits us in when we have crises, even if tough timing/hours for him. He makes a point of cleaning up the mess. Most of his work is word-of-mouth, though he is a mainstay at local institutions like AMC. He's a good guy that I trust, who does a really good job, what more can you ask? He cares and takes pride in his job!

I was referred to Gary the Plumber at Golden State Plumbing by several of my neighbors and now I understand why. Gary is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and has great communication skills. He took the time to explain to me every recommendation that he made. He suggested small changes to my initial requests which made big differences in overall performance, and I'm confident in the longevity of my plumbing fixtures now. Gary looked for every way to save me money, but knows where high quality materials matter. For me, Gary fixed a broken shower control, replaced 2 bathroom faucets, a kitchen faucet and the mechanisms for two toilets. I'll have him return to properly connect a newly installed dishwasher and sink disposal once I have them. And I'm sure I'll keep Gary's number for future plumbing needs. I highly recommend Gary the Plumber.
