Erik at Golden State Leak detection was great. I do property management and it is hard to find good pool and spa vendors. I found Erik on yelp and He went above and beyond my expectations to fix the spa and make sure I was happy with the services. After the initial repair, the spa seemed to continue leaking. Naturally, I was worried and upset but Erik offered to come back out and retest the entire spa with no additional charge. I was very impressed at his professionalism and going out of his way to make sure we are more than satisfied with the services. Our owner is happy and we now have a new spa and pool repair vendor we can trust and count on. We are already having him look into another repair for the same owner!

Our pool was leaking water, but we didn't know where. My pool service company recomended American Leak Detection, but they said they couldn't come to inspect our pool for at least 2 weeks. After doing some research, Platinum pools recommended Eric with Golden State, so I called him and after a bit of Q & A, he said he could come inspect our pool right away. He found our problem in less than 10 minutes and then gave me detailed info about how he would do the repair. I was very impressed with Eric's professional and personable manner, so I hired him. He came back in a few days to do the repair and did a very thorough job. I was also impressed with his warranty policy and the fact that he takes great pride in his work and wants his customers to be happy with his work. I can highly recommend Eric with Golden State Leak Detection as a reliable source for pool repairs.

We had a leak in our plumbing system of our in ground pool. Our pool cleaner recommended a company he was familiar with. After spending $450.00 to locate the leak, we were given a rather vague estimate on repairs. I phoned the company to get a better understanding of the problem we were facing and I was treated as if my problem was of no major concern anymore. After some research we fell upon Golden State leak detectors. I called and spoke with Eric in detail about our situation (he hadn't even been to our home yet). Eric and I spoke for nearly twenty minutes as he answered all my questions. Wow! What a fresh outlook, someone who actually cares about a potential customer. Needless to say Eric & Matt came out the following day and charged a reasonable amount $350.00 to locate any leak which was applied to the price of the job and which the other company never offered. Job complete! Two leaks repaired by two very courteous and professional men. The price was reasonable and the work was completed in one afternoon and the job site was left super clean!

My husband and I noticed our pool losing water at a rapid rate the past two months . We decided to call golden state to come out and assess our situation . Eric and Matt showed up on time and same day we requested the service . Eric and Matt were very through and knowledgeable in determining where the leak was and how to inform us what the problem was in a way we could understand. Eric found the problem quickly and gave us a terrific price for the repair .I highly recommend golden state leak detection for leak and pool repair . He also replaced our pool pump with a variable speed pump along with fixing our pool light which was where our pool was leaking from. They are fast friendly and reliable

I wouldn't want any other customer to be accused of lying or have Eric's friends send a customer messages calling them names and bullying them for writing a review.

I called Golden State Leak Detection when we realized we were having to fill our our pool a little too often. We just bought the home and have no experience with pools. I decided to call Golden State after reading some good reviews on YELP. It was a great decision. I talked to Eric over the phone and he gave me an idea of costs depending on what they found after inspecting. He was right on time when coming out. Extremely efficient in finding our leaks. Matt got into the pool with a wet suit and we have no heater. Eric explained and showed us everything he and Matt would do. Friendly, Pricing right up front. Extremely reliable. Very clean finish up. We would use them again if the need should arise.

After a weekend out of town, we came home to see our water about 6 inches below our usual water line.

After some research, I decided to contact Golden State with some questions. Kind and helpful, Eric answered all of my questions. Between my various options, I found Golden State to be the most straightforward and honest, so I scheduled an appointment to assess the issue and provide us with an estimate. After getting the quote and calling a few other companies, I went with Eric. His price was comparable to others, and his service left me assured that he was the man for the job. Within two days, Eric patched up our pool. There was no mess and our pool is in great condition.

An added plus has been Eric checking up on the status of our pool. This type of customer service will definitely have us calling Golden State should we need any repairs in the future.

Eric is the man!!! I was in such a bind. I had a repair done per the appraiser's orders and the contractor bailed on me at the last second (Yes he is getting a Yelp review as well). The sale of my home was going to fail. Eric drove nearly 60 miles and immediately inspected my pool. His punctuality, professionalism, and knowledge are the best of the best. I deal with contractors on a daily basis and quite frankly most are not up to par. Knowing that I was in a pickle, Eric did not overcharge me either! If you need quality work done at a fair price, Eric is your guy! I would give him 10 stars if it were an option.

My spa broke so I called these guys to fix it. We scheduled an appointment. Dude arrived ontime. He was able to quickly determine that the pump motor was bad. He ordered the parts and installed them. Spa works like new again! Over all good experience. I would recommend these guys.
