Homeowners have relied on Golden Rule for over 25 years. We consider ourselves a family, not just a company. Our commitment to family shapes everything we do.

Mark and Miranda Paup embarked on this journey in 1999; initially named City Rule, the company rebranded to Golden Rule in 2007. We chose the name Golden Rule to reflect our core belief: treating others as we wish to be treated. In the beginning, City Rule had a fleet of four service trucks. We added heating and cooling services in 2005, and by 2008, we shifted to focus primarily on these services. Over the years, the company has experienced significant growth, expanding our team, fleet, and customer base. In the summer of 2024, Golden Rule will extend its reach into the Salt Lake Valley, and we will continue to seek new locations in the future.
