Company Overview

For over 25 years, Golden Rule has proudly served homeowners. We consider ourselves a family, not just a company. Family values have been central to our mission.

In 1999, Mark and Miranda Paup began this venture; the company was first called City Rule before rebranding to Golden Rule in 2007. Golden Rule was selected to embody our principle of treating others how we want to be treated. In the beginning, City Rule had a fleet of four service trucks. In 2005, we expanded our offerings to include heating and cooling services, and by 2008, we shifted to focus primarily on these services. We have grown considerably over the years, with an increase in employees, trucks, and customers. This summer, Golden Rule will broaden its service area to include the Salt Lake Valley, and we will continue to seek new locations in the future.
