Golden Rule has been dedicated to homeowners for more than 25 years. As a family-oriented business, we prioritize family values. Our commitment to family shapes everything we do.

In 1999, Mark and Miranda Paup began this venture; the company was first called City Rule before rebranding to Golden Rule in 2007. Golden Rule was selected to embody our principle of treating others how we want to be treated. At the outset, City Rule operated with four service vehicles. In 2005, we expanded our offerings to include heating and cooling services, and transitioned to primarily offering these services in 2008. We have grown considerably over the years, with an increase in employees, trucks, and customers. In the summer of 2024, Golden Rule will extend its reach into the Salt Lake Valley, and we will keep looking for more opportunities in the years ahead.
