After his time in the U.S. Marine Corps, Buddy transitioned from an office job to plumbing, teaming up with his cousin and enrolling at NOVA. His natural ability and dedication stood out, prompting a veteran tradesman to suggest he aim for his Master Plumber’s License (MPL). This encouragement, along with Buddy’s determination, led to the creation of Golden Plumbing.

Through years of hard work and commitment, Buddy developed the business, gaining a loyal clientele in Northern Virginia. During the 1980s, he expanded into heating services, officially renaming the company Golden Plumbing and Heating, Inc. As the company thrived, so did his family—Buddy and his wife Mary raised three kids, and now their grandchildren play a role in the business. With his son Jeffrey overseeing field operations and his granddaughter Alexa managing the online presence, Golden Plumbing and Heating is a genuine family legacy.
