If I could give zero stars I would! This company working thru Old Republic is a total scam! Horrible service. Never showed up. Old republic ended up giving me the money to find my own company! Called R & R in murrieta and had a new water heater in 3 hours!!!! These people are the bottom of the barrel which is why they only get business and reviews from Old Republic!!

Golden King Plumbing showed up late for my appointment. They were contracted through Old Republic ""homeowners"" warranty (I've been in my house now for a little over 5 Months). Golden King Plumbing, came out and checked my water heater. I told them I had to drain it twice, as the first time ""rust"" or ""muddy"" water came out, the second time it was white. The tech from Golden King, told me that my water heater needed to be replaced and that they would be out Wednesday to repair and that it should only take about an hour to change and that they would call me the same day to confirm. I never heard back from them... I did receive a call the next day from ""old republic"" saying that the text told them there was nothing was wrong with it? What the heck... ??? What type of fly by night place is this??? Very disappointed and would never recommend them. They even took off without giving me a receipt.

Old Republic Homeowner's Warranty sent these plumbers to my home after 4 days of my tenant not having any hot water from their water heater. I tried several times to reach them my phone to find out if the service call could be expedited but with no returned phone calls. Later learned that the w.h. was still under warranty and O.R. would not cover this repair. Golden King did not offer to contact the manufacturer to have the part covered but instead told me that he could fix it since he was there or I could contact the manufacturer and get the part myself. There was no way that I was going to make my tenant go another several days w/o hot water so I relented and had them fix it. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! i had the same thing happen with another unit and used HAMMER PLUMBING who contacted the manufacturer and charged me only for the service calls.

Scary stuff. I had the same issue with Rey. Working with Old Republic Home Protection on redoing the work that he completed last week. RED FLAG! DO NOT USE!!!

My home owners warranty company sent these guys to my house to repair a leaky gas line by my fireplace. They did a great job, kept the work site very clean and was extremely professional. I must admit after reading the reviews I was worried about having them come do the work, but I must say I was pleased with their service. My home owners warranty company on the other hand is hot garbage.

I was also stuck with them through my Old Republic (another company, I wouldn't recommend) home warranty. I recently bought a condo. The inspector didn't notice that the drainpipe for my washer was backing up. Also, the garbage disposal had a hole in it.

Ray said the warranty wouldn't cover the garbage disposal because the hole in it was not recent. Also, they would have to charge me to cut through the outside wall because I didn't have an outside cleanout.

Based on other reviews, I decided not to use Golden King. I got a handyman to put in a new disposal at less than half the price they were going to charge me, and another plumber was able to find the outside cleanout and clear the drain for a reasonable price

Don't waste your time with Golden King. I recommend Southwest Plumbing if you're in the Palm Springs area.

Would not recommend. Service was rushed and didn't feel like a valued customer. My home warranty sent this company to service my clogged pipe. Tech did remove hair from drain but water still is not fully draining properly. I asked how much would they charge for a water line connector to my fridge and the response I received was ""it looks like big job because of the layout"" and nothing else. Well...that wasn't my question! Smh

I had to put aside what I read here on Yelp. The service tech who came out to my house was on time, actually he arrived earlier than the promised time. He was able to fix the problem and explain everything. So far, everything is working well!

DO NOT USE THIS PLUMBER unless you want your pipes messed up and have to call another plumber out to fix what he screws up. We had Ray out here yesterday. He took 6 hours to do a one hour job. He did not know what to do to fix the problem and I saw him throw his materials down on the ground in frustration several times. When he was ""finished"" there was a new leak. When we asked him to fix it, he said he wasn't licensed to fix it. Then he told us we didn't have to pay for the work he did, and he took off and left without telling us. We are so angry and can't believe someone who claims to be a licensed plumber didn't know how to fix a simple leak. We had to call out another plumber to fix his botched work today. Horrible horrible experience.

These guys are complete and utter garbage I got stuck with them through my home warranty company and they were nothing but terrible to deal with. They would not respond to phone calls they should up early and then left a card saying that I missed an appointment then proceeded to answer my phone calls. Take my advice and save yourself a headache just call someone else anybody else but these guys!!!!!!!
