Founded in 1967 by Robert E. Dixon, Sr. and Richard L. Dixon, Gold Seal Plumbing is dedicated to serving its clients' plumbing demands. Richard Dixon continues to lead as president and CEO of the company.

Bob Sr. would have been proud to see his great grandsons become licensed journeyman plumbers. He would also have appreciated the quality, integrity, commitment, and teamwork exhibited by the plumbers, trainees, and support staff at Gold Seal Plumbing.

We never set out to be the largest open plumbing shop in Eastern Washington...but we achieved it. We didn’t intend to become the largest service plumbing operation from Seattle to Minneapolis...but we are. Our aspiration for the largest training budget for trade skills in Washington State has come to fruition!

Doug has been part of the plumbing trade since 1984 and has held the position of Service Manager at Gold Seal Plumbing for 9 years. You may notice a few things that set us apart from our competitors. We do not provide pricing over the phone because we aim to give you the most precise quotes with complete transparency before you commit. Impolite, unprofessional, unethical and completely overinflated estimate. Added things to the bill that did not need repaired. Wanted over $600 for a quick fix problem. Got it taken care of 100% for $150 from another company. Will never ever call again for any reason. As a single person I felt taken advantage of.

The was a horrible experience. The men could not adequately explain the difference between the options. We were told they would use the high pressure machine if we paid more, but they only used it on the main pipe. All the other pipes used the smaller/cheaper machine. Had this been explained properly, we would have paid the $1100 option...we feel that we were taken advantage of.

They arrived 90 minutes outside of the 8-12 window so my husband wasted the entire day waiting for them. He was actually rushing out the door at the end of their service to make a 6pm meeting. At no point did anyone at the company apologize for the inconvenience or even report to the feedback I left them.

There was an overall lack of professionalism.
- Did not use booties and drug dirt a over the house.
- Left trash in basement (paper towel they had used for the service)
- removed a storm window and screen and could not put it back in properly
- spilled water on the kitchen floor and grabbed our paper towel to clean it up (would have been fine if they'd bothered to ask)
- We had another inspection scheduled with the city of a Spokane. The guys were at the door when she arrives and they sent the inspector away before she could ring the doorbell!! Luckily my husband heard them say ""she's not here"" so he could run out and catch the inspector before she left.
- Management needs to explain to these employees that they are guests in the house they are working in and should act appropriately.

I have been dealing with these guys for a 6 weeks now.

The first attempt was for a quote on a gas line install to be run off another gas line for 20 feet and then up to the second floor so I can change from an electric to gas range. It took them over a week after a scheduled appointment to get someone out here, but I figured they were extra busy due to lots of flooding around town so I let it go.

They came back about 10 days later with a second plumber to go over the plan, re measure the distances, and verify parts that would be needed. They told me only one part would need to be ordered and they would take care of it when they got back to the main office later that day and that the install would be done in the next 1-3 business days.

Well, 3 weeks of calling and trying to get someone other than the reception desk to talk to yielded nothing. At least a dozen attempts to get a call back from the plumber about why he never showed and what is going on has gotten me one half ass answer today (3 weeks later) ""The plumber needs to check in with the parts manager about something."" That was a quote.

My install is going to cost around $1300 for parts and labor. Maybe that's not a big enough job to be worth their time. My advice is to find someone more reliable who doesn't rely on the receptionist to make the hard customer calls for them, that shouldn't be her job.

As of today, August 5th I am supposed to get a call back tomorrow...yeah right, so I'm looking for another plumber.

Don't waste your time or hard earned money on a company that doesn't seem to care about their customers. Choose someone else.

Complete ripoff. Charged me $300 to scope my mainline because he insisted that was the problem. Told me I needed a spot repair and gave me an estimate of $5000 to repair a ""dark spot"". A different plumber came, said the problem was not the mainline but grease in my kitchen pipes and rocks in the trap from my backyard drain. Charged me $100 and solved the problem. Gold Seal is a great company if you want to pay $5300 and still have a clogged drain.

I Scheduled Gold Seal Service to come on June 22, 2019 to fix a leaking faucet in my basement. Diagnosis: the hot side of the faucet was faulty. Three service calls, two faucet stems and a large bill later my faucet continued to leak. Called a second plumber in who said the wrong parts were installed and it was the cold side that leaked. My faucet no longer leaks. Calling the management of Gold Seal Service left me feeling disrespected and without a resolution. Not sure if my treatment by Gold Seal was because I am a
woman or if it is their standard way of treating people. Either way, BUYER BEWARE! I do think some sort of compensation is in order as they charged a huge fee.

Extremely Expensive. The bid to replace piping in my home was 4X the price of another great company.
The estimates are done by employees on commission!

On 3/4/2019 I had these guys come to my house for a water heater repair and I had a $100 off coupon. They explained my elements were burnt out and replaced them. Came up with an excuse why they could only give me a $50 off discount and on 5/9/2019 my water heater was just as bad as when I first called them and they said it was the bottom element again. On my first repair they said I had a 90 day warranty and today said there was no warranty because of the sediment in my heater. So they changed their story around twice and screwed me with a $365 water heater repair that didn't even last 3 months and now want to sell me a new water heater system for about $1750! I'm on SSDI with a $1030 monthly income and these guys basically just screwed me. So no I am not a satisfied customer but one who considers himself swindled.

I had Gold Seal Plumbing come out to repair or replace a faucet in my 1942 laundry tub. Faucet was replaced with a new one. Plumber was here for 45 minutes and charged me $450.00. Now my concrete tub leaks from cracks that weren't there before. Said he would email my copy of the bill, but I never got it. Have used this company in the past, but never again.

Called for app. estimate scheduling to their answering service and was told they will call me. They never called back. I called next day afternoon to reschedule estimate app and was told they would contact me which they did.
Apparently their policy is to talk to the owner, which I can respect. We been together 20+ years and I am part owner, just not on the mortgage. I am also the one paying for the work performed. Would it be too hard to get an estimate? Yes it seemed to be too hard and I am kind of happy that the estimate was turned down, because it gave me time to read reviews. After reading reviews about their over inflated pricing, I called another plumbing company and rescheduled an app. no problem. Well, I guess we know who is getting my business and who is not. Perhaps some policy and pricing changes would got me to wake the wifey up to chat about plumbing, but she leaves this work up to me, respectfully. :.)

Josh was friendly enough when they arrived to give me an estimate. Unfortunately the quote was outrageously high. Over twice the amount to a competitor who was out of the area and that included the trip charge. No thanks
