worked with them through American home shield. in July 2024 they made two appointments and never showed. American home shield ended up stepping in after he said he wasn't going to make it and left me 5 days with an active leak. DJ was the scheduler for that and again here recently. another 2 days where they flat out lied that they called me to schedule and now here we are again canceling and going with another. steer clear of this group

Plumber was a nice person, cool. Company rubbish. Took over 2.5 weeks for a $200 water heater part. Then wanted more $$$. Said City had to turn off water but they could have done it all along themselves. Weird, but now low water pressure ""all of a sudden"" but it was ""there all along."" Now new pipes throughout the house? Coincidence? American Home Shield needs a new representative...

...an opportunity presented itself for Gold Rush Plumbing to redeem its poor service from a year ago and they went above and beyond. They really helped out and deserve 5 stars . I would not hesitate to use them again.

Basement was backing up with sewage called home shield for emergency service. They sent this company out,
came out said they couldn't fix the problem used our guest bathroom to wash there hands knowing any water used was backing up into our basement. Left said they would have someone out later that night or the next day. Wouldn't answer calls or texts then out of desperation my husband called saying we would call another plumber, finally got a call back saying they couldn't have anyone out for a week then hung up on my husband. Unprofessional clearly didn't know what they were doing. Roto Rooter fixed in 35 minutes!!

American Home Shield (AHS) assigned Gold Rush Plumbing for my water heater service request. The plumber, DJ, was rude to my tenants, didn't seem to know what he was doing, and asked me to get my own parts for the job (which my tenant did as I am out of state). I called DJ about the parts and finishing the job, and he yelled at me, hung up and never responded to me again. After two weeks, I hired another plumber to do the job. The other plumber had to get a completely different part to actually fix the problem. Gold Rush's solution had been completely wrong. Ultimately, I was not refunded my money from AHS, even though Gold Rush did nothing, and I had to pay the second plumber directly to do the work.

these guys are a bunch of clowns who dont know how to do anything. If American home shield assigns these guys to you immediately call and request someone else. they didn't do anything their first call. all they did was was say well there's no leak now. left after 20 minutes. called them back out a 2nd time and I had to tell them what I wanted and I'm not a plumber, all I wanted was them to assure me the toilet wouldnt leak again. I asked if they thought I should get a new toilet they said ya but AHS won't cover that it's not worth it. he said he would put it on the paperwork. low and behold he didn't! these guys are lazy just trying to collect a quick check from AHS.

DJ got us fixed in 2 hours when a different plumbing company left us leaking for two weeks. I highly recommend DJ for efficiency, professionalism, and workmanship.

I hired Gold Rush plumbing to work on home remodel. The nature of the project required them to come back more than once and to work in coordination with other trades. They were excellent, with workmanship of top quality. No hesitation recommending DJ!

Had a man with this logo on his truck try to run my daughter and I off highway 24 today, and thought it was funny. Are these they type of people you guys are? It's rather unfortunate because my business is with property managers that are always looking for GOOD natured vendors. I would never refer thus business after this morning. Shame on him.

I made a claim with AHS on Saturday at 7 AM. Had someone from their office contact me by 9:30 AM on a weekend! They started the process immediately. Monday morning, they were at my door by 12:00 pm with a brand new water heater and had it installed by 4:00 PM. Seriously the fastest service ever! Thank you!
