Installed a faulty heating system and have had 8 years of issues . 22 service calls. Technition a have no idea how to repair system. One Technition told me to make sure I don't use them to reinstall a new heating system if I choose that route. Terrible customer service. Filing a legal claim after installing a 20k system that is malfunctioning since day one . Sad but true.

First and foremost they were on time. Big deal in my book. Very nice and polite. Drop clothes put down where they walked. Had foot covers. Explained clearly what I needed to know. Answered all my questions whether they were silly. Hooked me up on cell phone to program control panel. Showed me how to use panel.
The unit is by far better than what I had. Tested it. Although it's cold out I won't be able to use until next year. Fingers crossed it works!!
I was completely satisfied with their professionalism.
I would recommend Gold Metal to anyone.

They are in business to take your service charge and not for doing the job itself, Attic fan motor replacement for $1,100!!! Really!!! Service guy came to my home with no parts, really??? They promised me the truck is fully stock. Very upset.

WATCH OUT! $29.00 to come to your house...OK....But $186.00 to put a new flapper back for old...took less than 60 seconds...(and had to call to have another worker come back to adjust the flapper)!

Don't ever use this company unless you like rude men that lie to get your money. I'll try to make this short. It was after hours and freezing when my furnace stopped working I called a bunch of people they answered first. The service guy came and told me I need a new furnace and he lit a match to show me it was unsafe and he burned all the hair off on his face. This is true story. I asked him how long he had been doing this. Then the sales guy shows up the two of them try to convince me to buy a very expensive furnace I said I would get a second opinion and they laughed and said who joe shmo from down the street. Rude. The next day I had joe shmo come and he fixed it for $250. Gold metal called me and asked if I was freezing. Rude again. I told them no a miracle happened and joe shmo fixed it and didn't burn his face off. The guy hung up I guess he can give it but can't take it. Oh well.

I had installed a new toilet. When I flushed there was a slight leak coming from under the bowl. Due to my lower back problem I could not remove the toilet so I called Gold Medal. The service guy came, I explained that the seal was probably not correct and needed to have the toilet removed again. He gave me a quote of $450. I was stunned. I told him it is two bolts and a water line to be disconnected, the bowl lifted and a new seal installed. He said that is there standing price. He finally called his boss and came back with $350 best price. I sent him off and was given a $35 charge for coming out. I called a friend, he helped me remove the toilet and install a new ring, at a cost of $11. Also, it took 10 minutes to do the complete removal and replacement of the toilet. Never again will I call Gold Metal for a prepare.

Watch out for their outrageous pricing. I got walloped with a $700 bill for changing an outside faucet- and that's with $150 off for being a gold member (which I paid $300+ for at my first visit where they installed a water softener that leaked)... Friend had an outside faucet replaced by a licensed plumber for under $200. Don't be sucked in by Gold Metal's low service fee. Their prices are outrageous.
