Run for the hills. They are criminals. I have used them in the past and have had issues and renewed a service contract with them under pressure from my wife. Well I should not have . They have taken my money scheduled service many times and have either cancelled or been a no show. The last time the Tech call he was on his way within the appointment window 2 hours later he was a no show out of the appointment window time and no call from anyone to let me know what was going on. This appointment was a rescheduled appointment from the week before 8-12 called at 12. Now that I am asking for a refund on the contract that they have never shown up on they tell me a manager will call me in 24 business hours but the say they are open 24/7. Now they tell me it will be at least 3 days for someone to call me that's such a lie. They need to refund me my money as I do not want the service since they never show up.

I could tell you other stories about how they sent someone to service my heat one year and he told me I need a need a new system which I new was not true I called to complain they sent someone out familiar with my system and no problems at all that was 5 years ago. Even then we had cancellation problems but mot like this.

I purchased a kitchen faucet which needed replacement and to have the turn off valves replaced. The plumber, Nick, said it would be $1900.00 and then after I objected, he changed the price to $1300.00. He said he would put in the faucet and valves for $500.00 cash. He replaced the faucet and did not replace the valves; he was paid $500.00 cash and then told me that the valves would be an additional charge. He was at my home less than 1 hour from start to finish.
Outrageous prices, dishonest and DO NOT RECOMMEND! Very disappointed in this company's/plumber's services.

Called with an emergency and they set up a time 24 hours in advance. A day later they say that they don't work in high rises; I supplied the appropriate apt number on an upper floor when I first called.

I wanted my 100amp service updated to a 200amp service I specified the materials to be used copper instead of aluminum and panel size make and size. I got 4 estimates 3 were from $2100-$2600 Gold medal came in at over $7000 . The job cost for materials is about $1000 and the labor is two men for less than a day. I sugest you never call Gold Medal service unless you want to pay twice what the job is worth. The owners rebutal was we gave you a free estimate and we stand by our work. All electrical service work has to be inspected and all liget contractors garentee there work . My opinion stay far away from these guys far away !

Ill start my review by saying that I am sure this place has top notch service, and all their repairmen are just lovely, best warranties in the universe, they have the best finacing around... and whatever else the salesmen *cough* I mean repairmen told me. The issue I have here is with the prices this company has the gal to charge.
I called about a hose from my well outside that was spraying water all over my yard, almost hitting my neighbors house. I thought this could just be repaired without too much hassle. I called and made an appointment, the first guy shows up and says a guy that specializes in water lines has to come instead because the entire pipe needed to be replaced. He also saw my furnace and wanted a guy who does that to come as well. Fine, whatever, send whoever you would like.
The water line guy shows up later that day and tells me the ENTIRE hose needs to be replaced as we cant see it as it is underground so it ""might"" have a leak elsewhere as well. The price I was given to do this enormous repair of digging up the yard to replace this hose was 7 GRAND. No way. There is a hole is the hose I wanted repaired and nothing more. Also, we closed on this place within the last year and the well was inspected prior to close and it passed, so I wasnt planning to spend that kind of money that I dont even have to replace this hose... that may or not need to be replaced.
The next day, the technician for the furnace comes and takes a look. I know my furnace is old and out dated and should probably be replaced for a more efficient unit, but it is working, and I have had our oil company come multiple times throughout the year to service it and they have had no issues with it besides it being as old as I am.
So, this guy says that my furnace is a fire hazard and could produce carbon monoxide at any moment and needs to be replaced. He didnt show me and pictures of his findings or even a write up. He then explains that a new unit is 20 THOUSAND DOLLARS but with the ""black Friday special"" he can do 15k.
I told him I needed some time to think about this as that is a lot of frikin money to just agree to right away. He tells me I pretty much need to agree to it right away to get this bogus black friday special. I asked when this special pricing ends and he said ""tomorrow"" so I said I would call him by the next day if we decided to do it. Nope, pretty much had to agree right then and there agree to this or I was SOL. I even said give me a couple of hours , nope not a chance, had to agree it it right now. I am super sketched out at this point and just want him to leave because I am so not into being pressured when that kind of money is being spent.
I cannot comment on the work they do as they didnt do any work at my house, and at these rates they charge I think it is fair to say I wont be calling them again. I will say the guys were on time, the second tech was actually several hours early, and all were friendly. If you have major cash to blow on plumbing repairs, like so much money that you dont know what to do with it, by all means give these guys a call. But for the average person these prices seem to be way off base and almost predatory and I am completely turned off by this company.

Not a good experience. I made an appointment for a diagnostic of one issue and was willing to use this company for the remediation of that problem and one other corrective action. They quickly assessed the issues and the diagnosis pricing was reasonable. The relationship went sour very quickly when the technician provided pre-set pricing and was pushing service agreements and other options that were not necessary. i ultimately declined any correcctive work to be done by the company and was able to have a local, licensed plumber complete the work for 25% of what Gold Medal Service wanted. Be prepared to be upsold!!!

This company is a rip off. They advertise drain cleared for 93.00 until they show up and tell you its 285.00. I wanted the 93.00 job but was told it was from 93.00 ,yet their ad doesn't say that anyplace. RUN fro this company.

I'm really surprised by all these seriously negative reviews. I called them up for a water emergency (broken sewage pipe in a crawl space under the kitchen) and they were the ONLY company who was willing to take the job. I called about 5 companies (large and small) who refused after I described the job. The plumber was there the same day and fixed the problem. Victor is our personal hero around here. We've since had them come back and do other plumbing work, all well done. We've had the electrician give an assessment of our new house - very thorough and problem-solved several issues. The technician did recommend some expensive fixes (replacing the electrical panel which is over 20 years old), which we haven't implemented yet. The HVAC technician just came and gave us a clean bill of health without recommending any fixes. I find them a little expensive, but I've had other companies charge just as much for terrible work and paid for cheap jobs that I've regretted. So I've appreciated the work that they do and do it well. I also haven't had any trouble with scheduling or completing the jobs.

Company is straight garbage but I'm also dumb for not reading fine print guy came to check on heating unit couldn't figure out what was wrong told me it was 300 dollars to continue working seconds later he figures out what was wrong then quoted me for 1300 dollars more I declined and told him to leave problem is I signed off on the 300 to continue working which is not a charge but a signup for their yearly service plan do not use these criminals they don't care about you at all!!!
