Yesterday we discovered our main water pipe coming into the house was leaking water badly from inside the foundation wall into our basement crawl space. I called Nicholas and he returned my call within minutes and came over about an hour later on a Saturday night. This morning he brought a crew with a backhoe and excavated a hole about 7' deep, removed the leaking pipe, replaced it, backfilled the hole and finished by 1 pm. So we were only without water for about 17 hours. I highly recommend Gold Leaf, especially if you have an emergency plumbing problem.

On a Saturday night at 9:30 on Labor Day weekend, we discovered that our hot water heater was leaking. We called and because he was already on a job, Nick told us that he would be an hour but would be over ASAP. He came over that night, identified the problem and helped us temporarily stop the issue. We then set an appointment for 1 pm the next day. He was early, took the old one out and put the new one in - even with a 5 and 3 year old that kept asking him what he was doing. We will now be using Gold Leaf for all of our issues.

I had a leaking, ancient basement shower fixture that no plumbing supply store could identify. So I called Gold Leaf to replace the old 3-handle fixture with a modern Delta fixture and to install an inline shutoff valve. Nicholas spent a good 3 hours inside a cabinet where the access to the plumbing was found. His prices were reasonable for the services rendered, and the quality of the service was solid. He quickly answers texts and is very organized, without needing a back-office assistant (this is an impressive trait)

He communicated with, and responded to, me in a timely and friendly manner, he arrived at my home when he said that he would, and he contacted me the next day after he finished his work at my home to ensure that everything was okay with the plumbing. Nicholas is very knowledgeable about his field of work, problem solves situations easily, and provides appropriate recommendations. He readily recognized the problems with not only the water valve, but also the drainage pipe, to my dishwasher. He explained the problems to me in an understandable manner, offered suggestions, and explained how his suggestions would solve the problems. Nicholas respected my home. He wore boot covers and ensured that his plumbing equipment did not scuff up my hardwood floors. Nicholas's pricing and estimates for work that needs to be done are reasonable. I am so pleased with Nicholas's excellent work and customer service skills that he is now my go-to plumber!
