This company came to my house on November 9, 2015 to fix a minor leak from a shower drain and run a line through my basement wall. Lance Golay and his apprentice went down stairs to look at what they needed to do the job. They said that they would return the next day with the materials needed to do the job. As soon as they walked out my door to leave, water started flooding my kitchen running down my floor vent. After calling him back to fix it I found that some one yanked my water line from my refrigerator from my basement! As soon as Lance return, his first words was ""I didn't do it"",not asking what was happening. I asked him to check the furnace to see if water reached it. He came up and stated everything is fine and that he would return in the morning to finish the work. But after Lance Golay left, our furnace was not working!! So I called him back and that's when he stated that he would not be returning to my house because I as well as my wife, are obviously unhappy with his work and company.
At that time I called another company, Service Legends to fix my furnace and other problems that Golay Heating, Cooling and Refrigeration left me with. Mind you, Golay Heating, Cooling and Refrigeration installed my furnace system a few years back prior to me purchasing my house. At the end of their diagnostics, they stated that Golay Heating Cooling and Refrigeration bypassed 5-6 safety devices when installing my furnace. The bypassing of these safety devices could have caused a true life threatening hazard to me as well as my family. Safety devices are supposed to be in place for a reason and Owen and Lance Golay just disregarded me and my family's safety. Makes me wonder how they sleep at night?
