GoHero Home Services
Company Overview
GoHero Home Services stands out as a trusted source for plumbing, HVAC, and electrical services.
Hero Services launched in 2004, specializing in plumbing for new construction projects in Knoxville.
Robert Keith, an Air Force veteran and the company's founder, envisioned providing high-quality service in a positive, drug-free setting for clients and team members.
The company transitioned to service and repair in 2013, adopting the name Knoxville Plumbing.
Knoxville Plumbing grew in 2018 by acquiring J&J Septic, a septic pumping service with 17 years of local expertise.
The company rebranded as Hero Services and introduced HVAC and electrical services in 2019, supported by technicians with over 30 years of expertise.
While serving in the United States Air Force, Robert Keith began his plumbing career, receiving training at Sheppard Air Force Base.
Following four years as a plumber and pipefitter, he dedicated seven years to teaching for the Air Force Civilian Service.
Robert possesses experience across utilities, industrial, residential, construction, service, and repair sectors.
He holds certifications in systems including Uponor Pex, Tracpipe, propress, and megapress, along with master plumbing licenses in three states.
In his 30+ years of experience, Robert aims to incorporate the military values of discipline, honesty, and pride into his work.

Our water heater was leaking when I got home late yesterday evening after a long day at the hospital with my mom. Hero Services was recommended by my neighbor. They had a time slot available first thing the next day. Aaron T was prompt, professional and fixed my issue right away! Very pleased with his work and the service from him as well as Hero Services!
Very happy with their services. Everyone from the inside office people to the tech's that do the work, have been extremely professional and friendly.
I highly recommend Hero Services!
Bryce G.A routine inspection by the Hero rep showed us a leak in our water heater. We were able to get a replacement - tankless - in less than a week. They completed the job in one day and now we will never run out of hot water!
Lois B.Can't say enough about Hero Services. I had multiple issues at my newly purchased cabin in Gatlinburg: HVAC, SEPTIC, ELECTRICAL. Anthony, Tristen, Tim, and Robert plus their colleagues were professional, thorough, quick and genuinely nice people. I was able to schedule work within 1 day. Highly recommend Hero Services.
I chose to go with company based on their seemingly good reviews. I bought a home and didn't like the kitchen pendant lights so I purchased a new set of lights and needed them swapped out. We also bought a hot tub to put where the previous owners had a hot tub- breaker box already existed I just needed them to wire it in, for those two services I was charged 2000$. As a new homeowner I assumed that was standard. I recently needed additional electrical work for a separate project, and decided to go with a different company. Out of curiosity I asked them to give a quote on hanging 2 pendant lights and wiring in a hot tub, they quoted me 300-400$. I was robbed in plain sight by hero services. Their prices are astronomical and very unrealistic for their electric services. Hoping to save another person from making the same mistake I did. Truly disappointing and wrong.
We had them come out to do one ordinary 120v electrical outlet for a tv mounted on the wall. When they arrived the 1st thing the technician did was try to sell us a whole house surge protector at $800 which we did not ask for.
we declined the offer then someone in his office said $700.
Long story short the bottom line for one outlet went down to $500 something which we also declined. We have added outlets before with the same company and it was nowhere near what they asked today. They were supposedly giving us a senior citizens discount too.....geez :(
Maybe a new owner ????
Dissappointed !!!
THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM. PLEASE BEWARE!!! THEY TRY TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF WOMEN!!! Technician Will came to my home to look at my water heater and a toilet leak, but instead went into other areas of my house WITHOUT MY PERMISSION opening up cabinets to look at my garbage disposal, then in my guest bathroom looking in my showers, opening up cabinets. When I asked what he was doing and to stop, he said he was seeing what else he could find. He was very rude, condescending and unprofessional. He said my toilet was broken beyond repair and had to be replaced but would not tell me what was wrong when i asked. He would not answer any questions and would only try to sell me new products or service plans. I hired another plumber and all that was wrong was the bolts needed to be tightened. There was no damage and it certainly was not broken beyond repair. After calling several times, his supervisor Trey did call me back but said he never got complaints on his technicians and dismissed me. Worst company I have ever dealt with.
R A.They charge you $99 to come out and look at your issue, which would be fine if I actually used them, but their estimate was absolutely insane!! Even though I didn't use them I had to pay $99 and then found someone else to do the work at a fraction of the cost. And as part of the already ridiculous estimate they wanted to change 2 lightbulbs for $250!! Not the fixtures, just to screw in 2 standard $5 LED lightbulbs, which a child could do in less than a minute. That is completely unacceptable to charge me $99 and waste my time just to come out and try to gouge me. Stay far away from this company!
Stay away from these guys. Charged me $1500 to clean my ducts and all I got was a handful of lint. That's $250 an hour! More than a plumber would make. Thought fellow vets would be treated better than that. Needless to say, I am cancelling my $500 lifetime maintenance agreement and will be going to HEP from now on.
I bought a VIP Plan after having a positive first experience. According to the sales data and flyer I was provided, part of the document indicated VIP would move me to the front of the line. I've asked for 3 services since then. There've been three different times I've waited for the serviceman to come and the appointment was canceled by Hero with a call asking me to reschedule. Too much traffic, too many emergency services, just couldn't get to me were the excuses I was given.
My wife is going through daily cancer treatments. When we agree to an appointment time we are juggling our hectic schedule to have the service(s) performed.
Each time I am asked to call back and reschedule. I feel like the company has misrepresented it's product and service provided.
The appointment they missed today was one they themself scheduled.
Doesn't feel like VIP service to me. I am beyond frustrated with the experience.
