An accident in my yard caused the propane tank to be disabled. I was unable to restart the water heater and called Goettls. They sent a technician within 4 hours. He was able to fix it quickly and I was able to shower within an hour. Good job.

Requested an estimate for a new air conditioner install, bid came back at $15,000, double from another estimate I received from a great company in Flagstaff (Diligent Development LLC Heating/Cooling/HVAC)

We called Goettl's for a leaking shower head and to get a second opinion. Brandon was on time and gave us two opinions, he could try replacing grommets in O-ring, which might work and less expensive or cut a whole in wall and replace the whole unit. We decided to try replacing grommets and it worked. We were so impressed by Brandon Shelton, his honesty and knowledge, that we signed up for an annual airCare subscription. Very pleased!

I waited a year to post this review to make sure that the repair done to my air conditioning unit (by a different company) would last over the seasons. In May of 2022, I had Goettl's come out to perform a routine service of my air conditioning unit. The technician that came to the house told me that I needed to have another piece of equipment added to my AC unit at the cost of almost $300.00. He also set me up with an annual maintenance agreement at a cost of over $250.00 which I accepted because I wanted to set up a relationship with a single company to service the equipment. He didn't have furnace filters on his truck to replace the ones on my system and told me he was going to have them delivered. I found it odd that they would not have these on their service vehicles. After he left, the unit did not seem to cool the house properly and I contacted Goettl's again. They sent a different technician out and once he looked at the equipment, he told me that the first technician had installed the added equipment incorrectly and he would correct the problem. He also told me that I might need a new AC unit installed at a cost of around $12,000-14,000 and he would set up an appointment with a sales rep to give an estimate. Concerned that the unit had been working before they ""serviced"" it, I contacted a different company to look at the equipment. This technician went up on the roof to look at the unit and discovered that Goettl's technician had left the cap to the Freon loose allowing it to escape the system. He recharged the system with freon and said that if there was a leak, it would show up in a few days and the system would stop cooling again. It has been over a year now, and even in this heatwave that Arizona has been in, the unit has worked perfectly. Goettl's called me earlier this spring to schedule the ""Service"" that I had paid for, and I told them I would not allow them back on my property due to the horrible experience and that I would like someone in management to contact me. They never did. They never even delivered the furnace filters that were included in the agreement and promised. I would NOT recommend Goettl's to anyone looking for heating and cooling services.

I need to update my review. Had Goettls come out to a new home. Same technician who sold me product I am sure I did not need and did not fix the problem after a $700 bill. I am calling Mountain Aire. So for $700 I got a 2 degree reduction in inside temperature - 79 or 80 to 77.

I had the worst summer ever because of Goettls! Last year I was in their Maintenance program. I signed up with them because I wanted to be sure my A/C was in tip-top condition so that I and my 6 cats would be comfortable during the summer heat. I wasn't having any problems with my A/C until they got their hands on it. They came and gave it a clean bill of health and I just asked if they could upgrade my thermostat. When the serviceman came to replace the thermostat, he was careless and shorted out the motherboard to my A/C. It also screwed up something else in the fan. They replaced the Motherboard but it still wasn't working because of the other problem. All in all I went all of July and most of August without cooling. I was miserable and so were the cats. I would never recommend this company. When Ted and Adam owned it, it was a good company. No longer is that the case!

I had them come out to service my air conditioner, all I got was a 5 page report on what needs to be done. Mind you this house and air conditioner are 6 years old. He didn't clean the coils he didn't do much for 195.00 dollars. Then had 3 programs ranging from 2800 dollars to 5500 dollars to do repairs.

I recently had need for service to repair a broken A/C condenser drainline. I called a few places and it seems the norm is a 95$ fee to come out, asses the problem and give an estimate for repair. The repair cost is above and beyond the 95$ house call charge. I get that.
Most places charge by the hour, Goettl's charges by the job. I chose Goettl's because they were the company that installed the HVAC in my house when it was built 7 years ago. The technician they sent out, Ben, was great. Young, smart, professional, on-time and pleasant. He arrived early, went into the attic, assessed the problem, came down 10 minutes later and told me what the problem was and had an estimate ready as to the cost of repair. The estimate was 257$. I ASSUMED (my fault) that it must be a difficult repair and the charge was based on some formula for how much time it would take for that much money. I was already in to the project for 95$ for the house call charge. He said he could fix it ""now"", I said OK. He went up, came down in approximately 35 minutes, informed me that the repair was complete and showed pictures of the repaired drainline. I said ""that was quick"", his reply was to the effect of ""it was an easy repair"". The charge was still 257$. After he left I was feeling like that was an exorbitant amount of money for a 35 minute repair, somewhere in the neighborhood of 375$/hr labor plus maybe 7$ in PVC fittings.
I contacted GOETTL'S 2 times over the next 3 days through their contact link on the website to discuss the charge. I got no reply. I called and talked to a customer service person who explained that they charge by the job and if the job takes longer than expected or shorter that the charge is the same. I still felt the charge was way out of line and she said I'll put you through to the service manager. I got his voicemail. I left a message asking him to call me regarding the charge for my repair, 3 more days and no reply. So here we are.
Bottom Line: The repair technician Ben was great, the repair looked great. The follow -up customer service was poor, the charge was exorbitant and overall I feel like I was taken advantage of and overcharged for a simple repair. I would not recommend using GOETTL'S until you've shopped around unless cost doesn't matter to you.

Jacob was our lead installer and his team of three arrived on time, were very professional and went about the install quickly and efficiently. Very happy with this Costco vender. Jacob discovered a significant propane leak and replaced the propane pipe all the way to the feed source, no more leaky connectors. Eliminating a very real fire hazard was the icing on the cake for our install. Thank you Geottls High Desert for a great experience.

Had my split unit installed in 2017, within a month it was not working. They came out and said there was a leak at the flair fitting on a pipe. Fixed it no charge. Paid for yearly checkup for 2 years, once again found a leak at the same valve, redid the flair. No heat in Feb this year, they came out said no problem found and that it was too cold for the heat pump to work. OK, $85.00 Now mind you we are part timers, used it for heat twice and airconditiner 5-10 times a year. Came back to the house on July 12, very little air, tech came out and said the schroder valve seat was bad and needed a new valve. The same valve that they said was a bad flair on the pipe. $864 latter, it appears to be working. Sent an email after a few days stating that I was not happy that it took so many years to resolve the problem. Have not heard back
