Our AC broke and the installer was giving us the run around. We called Goettle. They were easy to schedule with and responsive. The diagnosis guy who came out says he cant fix anything and it would be another week. He found a million things wrong and tried to sell us a new unit. It is only 3 years old so we decided to fix it. They came out a few days later to fix. They were clean and timely and it seemed to be working. That was yesterday. Today it is already broken and they refuse to come back out to help until next week and are going to charge us again. We are being taken advantage of. So dissapointing. Choose absolutely anyone else for AC repair. Waste of money and waste of time. Terrible buisiness model. All they have going for them is someone will answer the phone and they have good advertising. Stay away.

One star is a perfect rating for this company. Paid 20k for a new unit (less than a year ago) that was installed incorrectly 4 times with each installer contradicting the previous one of what the problem is. We requested to speak with the manager multiple times, but always the same answer..."No one is at their desk, or the MIGHT be in a meeting". Currently it's been 2 weeks and have been told that a manager will call first thing in the morning...no calls. All I wanna do is get this unit out of my house and never do business with Goettl again.

I highly suggest not to use them as they over charge for sub quality installations and services.

Worst company ever. I ended up having to drive 40 minutes to their office to talk to a manager. STEPHEN BLOOMFIELD is probably the most unprofessional manager I've ever met. He actually made me hate the company even more. Extremely rude and does not put the customer first. I would recommend to NEVER do business with Goettl.

The. techs are all very friendly salesman. They take the readings and then transmit them to someone else to evaluate. Goettl repeatedly cancels appointments and does not follow through on equipment already paid for. Maybe all companies are like this now. Upsell, Upsell, Upsell. Would not recommend. It is a company of Greed from the top down.

I see a lot of negative reviews recently, and I can't say that we've experienced anything remotely similar.

The technicians are amazing, and we've never been given a hard sell on anything, despite one of our units being fairly old.

They communicate well, the technicians are competent, and the invoicing/estimates are perfect.

After dealing with another local company which was the absolute worst, I'm very happy with Goettl's four visits (regular maintenance a couple of repair calls) since we got our service contract with them last year.

NIGHTMARE Company. Absolutely terrible, after what we've been through over the last month we feel like they are robbing us blind and taking advantage of our situation.

We have been dealing with a HVAC/water heater pipe leak over the last 19 days and the issue still hasn't been resolved. We contacted Goettl immediately after noticing the issue. They recommended clearing out the HVAC condensate drain line, replacing the piping underneath the HVAC/water heater, installing a condensation pump, and replacing our water heater to take care of the leak and prevent any further leaks/damage moving forward. We paid $10k for the recommended fixes. We've had 14 technician visits over the last 19 days and still dealing with the same issue. No one seems to communicate with each other in their company. The managers calling the shots (Tony, Terron) seem to disagree with what the techs recommend even though the managers have not physically been within our home. The techs don't seem to communicate with each other so every tech that comes to our home has a different opinion on what repair needs to be done. One tech even told us the water heater replacement wasn't needed, another told us the condensation pump was not an emergent issue. We keep being told "this is an HVAC issue" by the plumbing dept and "this is a plumbing issue" by the HVAC dept. 19 days, 14 tech visits, and $10k later and the issue STILL persists.

Now we're being told we need to pay an extra $1.6k to get a condensation pump placed as a "permanent fix" for the issue, even though we were explicitly reassured that the original amount we paid (which included a condensation pump and a few days later deemed to not be emergently needed) was going to fix the issue.

At this point my husband and I are at our wits end. We have been sleepless and frustrated due to this uncontrolled leak in our house. Our confidence in Goettl fixing this issue has dropped to zero and we will be looking into other companies for HVAC/plumbing maintenance moving forward.

I am considering filing complaints with the Texas Dept of Licensing and Regulation and to the office of the attorney general as well. We feel like we're getting gutted out of our money and are being taken for a spin by Goettl. BEWARE of this company. Absolutely would NOT recommend to anyone.

Miguel came out when our AC decided to stop working (he came on a Friday evening) he was amazing and helped us go through all the options. Ultimately we decided to replace our unit. Even though they didn't have an appointment to do that until Monday, they offered to provide us a window unit on the meantime (luckily we already had one!) he was extremely kind and helpful during what's a pretty stressful time for us.

Gabe and Jason came first thing Monday morning right on time and ready to work. They were fantastic.

We had severe thunderstorms during the install and man they were pros working right through it (I was checking in on them making sure they didn't need to pause or anything, I wanted their safety to be top priority!)

We now have a working AC system and a full house air purifier which we can't wait to see what a difference that makes. They listened our concerns and made sure everything looked good before wrapping up (now we wait for the testing day which will be within the week to make sure everything looks good)

Overall we love Goettl, we have a membership with them and now a pretty great warranty on this new system.

the tactics are extremely shady...

while my tech was top notch I saw that it is when the office calls you they are doing a hard sell. so the tech comes in and tells you what they think and then the "office" telemarketer calls you to offer you "options"

first of all. a tech that has 30 plus years is more than capable than telling me the options better than the person on the phone

JUST for some 10 point test as they called it they wanted to charge me 1800 DOLLARS

I am a single woman, widow of a fallen soldier, and just like they have a way with words so do I. I read that an elderly lady felt pressured so I was ready when the person called.

GOETTL offered a free check up on our AC. The guy said we need about $3000 worth of work. He said the outside air intake wasn't working possibly for years according to tech and he said our coils needed cleaning, and he recommended we need to clean out our duct. Mind you, we paid them an annual service fee for the last year and this wasn't caught. I decided to get a second opinion, and the guy came out and said everything's working fine and the coils are clean. I just saved about $3000. Get a second opinion before you pay them anything. I normally don't write reviews that are negative but this was not acceptable. We contacted them to call us twice and they never called us back. Very disappointed and feel very taken advantage of.
