Didn't get the service I needed concerning my air conditioner which was not cooling at all. Technician checked the thermostat, the air conditioner and filter. He said the air conditioner was okay. We told him how about putting in freon. Instead he wanted to sell us a brand new air conditioner for $10,000. I saw Red than. He called his supervisor, and I called a friend of mine. The tech had a supervisor on speaker phone and he heard me talking to my friend on the phone about my air conditioner. The supervisor wasn't happy hearing my remarks that he told the tech looks like she's not happy. They hung up, I hung up from my friend. Told the tech we weren't going to part with that kind of money. He failed that part, then he suggested window conditioner. Told him, we don't do window conditioner. The man just didn't want to leave our home. We were about ready to kick him out of our home, that he got up and left. Such a bad experience and a lot of wasted time. I admit your technician was a smooth talking salesman; but he failed getting a sale from us. No way will I use Goettle again.

I have been VERY disappointed with the reliability of this company after it merged with a phoenix-based company! It was once a family owned business that was courteous, reliable and honest. It has lost it's credibility with me, since it has been bought out. They use rude people to call and pressure you to accept their "free" plumbing check, that comes with paying for their yearly maintenance contract. They will set an appointment time/date, only to make you wait around ALL DAY for them to show up, giving one phone call stating they don't know when they will arrive. In our case, they never showed up!! The next day they texted a lame apology about missing our appointment. We had a heating/AC check scheduled, but they rearranged that too, and they never have a day that fits with the customer, only their schedule. They are crazy expensive and can't be trusted anymore, unfortunately. Even though I paid a sizable amount for my maintenance contract, I am going to search for another company.

Dear Goettl, I must apologize as I was not as quick as you were in providing a response when I reached out to you last. I feel terrible. I mean I called and expressed my concern about some concrete in my driveway and you didn't argue with me or call me a liar and you had someone here immediately to calm my woes and hold my hand again. I am starting to think you are just too darn good for me! I don't deserve ya! So to make matters worse you sent some guys out here NEXT DAY and repaired my concern. Like I said, I feel terrible. Can I interest you in a nacho date at Spurs game or buy you a snowcone at Woodlawn lake??? I promise I won't stray as long as you won't. Anxiously awaiting your response,.......I can't quit you.

Douglas Rivera arrived to diagnose my water valve replacement concern. He provided an estimate but also discovered another issue that needed replacing. He was very thorough and emailed me the estimate. He even put on shoe booties to protect my carpet. I didn't use him bc the projects are costly but now I know what I'll be paying for these projects. Very professional and efficient.

He did a really good job on our plumbing maintenance and offered options on things that need enhancement's or repairs. He was also very thorough in cleaning up after himself. Great job Darean! After hearing the GOE-TTL advertising of "It started with a flashlight" and "do things the right way, because that how is should be", I gave them a call when my HVAC suddenly stopped working during a historic heat wave. My initial experience with the call center was positive and they did dispatch a tech that day, however, once the tech arrived and assessed the unit he gave me 3 service level options each with increasing costs. I asked if the first option of simply blowing out the condensate line would get the unit operating, he assured me it would. Prior to our service call, I was contacted by Goettl and encouraged to buy their maintenance program. We were told that it would give us a discount on any service required that day as well as benefits including blowing out condensate lines. We were told that in order to receive those benefits and the discount, we had to sign up BEFORE the service, so we did. When I asked the tech if we could use one of our clogged drain benefits, he said no, claiming that was a different service and had to be scheduled in advance. This was very confusing to me especially when I confirmed with him that it was indeed the exact same service. Nevertheless, desperate to get the unit repaired, I authorized the repair and paid the $185. The tech blew out the condensate drain and left. Less than 2 hours later, the house had not cooled off at all and the unit had shut off again. I called dispatch and let them know that the unit wasn't working and they told me they would send someone back out. I then got a call from the tech telling me that the only way he would be able to get the system working was for me to agree to a $3,000 repair estimate and if I agreed to that amount, he would come back out in the morning. If I didn't, then he wouldn't come back. And that is exactly what happened. I didn't agree to pay him $3,000 and he didn't come back. I immediately started looking for other providers extremely disappointed in my service. After resolving the system issues with another vendor, I called Goettl and asked to cancel my maintenance agreement as well as asked for a refund of the $185. I was told by the person who answered the phone that her only authority was to submit a service ticket to their "cancellation" department and maybe someone would call me back, but she wasn't sure. I asked if she could escalate my call to a supervisor or manager and she said she could not. We just had to wait. So here we are. When I started to look at reviews to see if management responded to reviews in hopes of getting help with this issue, I noticed that management ONLY responds to positive reviews. I didn't see a single response to the negative reviews.

Here is hoping that the guy who started this business following his Dad around with a flashlight, learning to do things right, will make things right for us.

William with Goettl came to our home to check in a clog in our pipes. He was polite and gave us insight into how to avoid this in the future with suggestions. He blew the clog out of the pipe and reassured us there shouldn't be any more issues with maintenance. I am very appreciative and thankful for William!

Not serious about standing behind their commitments. I have their maintenance plan which includes prepaid maintenance for HVAC and plumbing. I had to schedule 4 weeks in advance because they were already scheduled. On the day of my appointment, one of heir employees left me a voicemail and a text asking me to cal them back to put me on the schedule because they were overbooked and could not do the maintenance appointment (which is already prepaid). How do they get overbooked when I scheduled 4 weeks in advance? Because they overbook themselves on purpose.
