AC died on Saturday and earliest appointment was for Monday morning, which was confirmed both by email and text. They were a no call no show. I called the customer service line and was on hold forever and no answer. Stay away from Goettl and don't believe the ads!! TERRIBLE!!
Marie T.I brought a brand new air conditioner from this company in April before the heat wave hit paid for all the bells and whistles no financing cash. Then here comes Arizona heat wave and my brand new system does not turn on my house for 2 days has been 95 degrees so hot I had to go stay at a hotel. Called Goettl and received the answering service who stated someone will call me back 45 min later I receive a call back to be told we can't get to you today someone will be there the next day between 12-3pm then 5pm rolls around call back get answering service again wait 29 mire minutes receive call ""oh we are backed up but you are still on the list to be seen today"" Needless to say tech didn't arrive until 6:40pm only to tell me that the Brand new machine I just brought highest on there market was not installed properly.. Disappointed, disgusted is the only words I could come up with I will never recommend this company to any of my colleagues again. Horrible service and I'm still without a good working air conditioner
My air conditioner that I purchased from Goettl three months ago suddenly stopped working the night of 06/20/2021. I did some trouble shooting, none of which worked. Started calling Goettl for emergency service. I called twice. The second time I received a call back informing me that because this was a recent install. That it must be sent to the installation department and not to expect any call back until after 5:00AM. I stressed to them that I have a medical condition that makes it difficult to breath. It is now 06/21/2021. 5:00AM is long gone. No response. No phone call. Once again I call Goettl's customer service. After being on hold for over an hour, the customer service rep. Finally answers. I am told everything I was told before. He assures me that someone will be calling. Where's the Super Hero technicians? Where's the customer service they are so proud of. This is not doing things the right way.
Alex S.This is a pure scam operation, don't use them and find a local company. All they do is send their tech who tries to sell u thousands of $ of unnecessary equipment and services and buy into shady warranties etc. Prices are inflated 3-5x. Zero stars.
David L.I have never been more disappointed by a company who claims they are professionals and ""do things the right way, not the easy way!"" That's a bunch of bullsh*t! We scheduled a rejuvenation and have had nothing but problems with our ac unit since they worked on it. We had no problems before they touched the unit and since then, we have handed over $1,800.00 of our hard earned money to this company. The capacitors tested fine and the next day while on vacation with the family, my mother in law calls us saying there's a burning wire smell coming through the vents and it's 83 degrees in the house while the thermostat is set at 78 degrees. It put me in a panic thinking my house was at risk for a fire. They came out the next day and replaced both capacitors for $505.00! The following day our ac goes out once again and now we are replacing the OEM blower motor for $1,160.00. We have to wait a few days for the blower motor part to be available for installation. In the meantime, the technician is going to install a higher (rescue motor, it's the only motor they carry on their trucks) output motor while the OEM motor is being shipped. Now, I am thinking this will only cause something else to fail because he's not installing the proper blower motor. I feel it's just another way for them to steal even more of our hard earned money. Every time they have come out they pitch their ""Sadie guard dog protection"" and try to upsell us to purchase a new unit. It seems like we are being severely taken advantage of. I feel if they owned an auto maintenance shop and I had them change my vehicles oil, I would just leave with several oil leaks. It's a damn shame! Please go elsewhere with your hard earned money people. Don't be scammed like us.
There are so many different issues here I'm just going to stay don't fall for the bull crap marketing. It's just a scam. Ibelieve this company started believing in themselves as some kind of culture commercial stars.
The way Ken and Zach pontificate even when you're on hold, about how they do things the right way not the easy way. It's just a lie and couldn't be further from the truth. Just watch how when your tech shows up he does nothing but give you sales pitches. You can see from all my reviews, I'm just laying down the truth here the way I see it avoid this company at all costs.
Goettl says ""we don't do it easy - we do it right"". Well they don't do it easy or right. They have left my family sitting in a 98 degree house when its 115 out and have refused to help us.
Do not use this company - they are incredibly rude on the phone and each representative you speak with will tell you a different company policy. Its awful.
Janet M.Forget about hiring these folks! They installed my new furnace and air conditioner two years ago and never came back to check their work ($10,000). Three weeks ago, I called them to ask if they'd please check my air
conditioner for service and they said cost would be $199 up front
that would cover two years, furnace and a/c checks. Otherwise,
the cost would be $129 each visit and if I chose that option, my
appt would be set up way far in advance from now. They were
terribly busy.
My a/c is full of leaves, and I have tried to remove them myself but I
can't quite get them all removed. Any cost would have to be paid
at the time of service. Not sure how much, but I'm familiar with their routine.
My appt was set up two weeks down the road. I waited around for
them to show at the appointed time, and got a call after hours that
they'd have to reschedule. Too busy. Second appt was cancelled at
5:30 p.m. because the worker in question sustained a work injury.
I refused to set up the third appointment. I was never offered a contract
for maintenance, and they didn't care to do it.
In the past, they used the bully treatment to get my business. When they came over to do an estimate, they said if I didn't take their ""deal,"" they
would have to charge me for the estimate. So I proceeded. They installed
a new incoming vent for the a/c and furnace to vent air in, but it's way
too high for me to reach, and I wanted it blocked off. That will be my
next expense.
Proceed with this awful business at your own risk. fyi: I did request a refund of my $199 and received it shortly after informing them I wanted it.

Bad experience so far. After waiting over 30 minutes on hold, I was hung up on by man after I mentioned the word ""Goettl"" (sounded like he was partially working for another ""attic solutions"" company."" It was very odd, to say the least. This was all after a maintainance cancellation, so my inconvenience was DOUBLED. NONE Of this was my doing or fault, so I'm wondering what they would say about this. Also, wondering what's going on with their company.....
Justin M.I gotta say im sad to report this place has gone severely down hill. Started with them a few years back always had great service. Referred them to my mom who lives a few miles away. Her unit was dead. The guy shows up says there is a leak and need to put red dye in the unit and come back a week later to find the leak. Comes back said there is no leak but he finds $4500 worth of things wrong including some BS uv light filter. Preying on the elderly in my opinion. Two weeks later the unit is dead again and they tell her she needs a new unit. It was only 3 years old. Come on. Management gets involved and they came and finally fixed it. At least we think. So with me, i subscribe to their sadie guard dog maintenance plan. They came out two weeks ago and clean everything and tell me the unit is GOOD TO GO. Well two weeks later it dies on Saturday night. My house is at 90 degrees with 4 kids at home ranging from two to thirteen. I call goettl for help and they tell me that Wednesday or Thursday is the soonest they can come. Are you frigging kidding me? Long story short i cancelled them. They can pound sand. I called semper fi heating and cooling and they were at my house 4 hours later. I think goettl has grown to big to fast. They need to quit advertising and take care of the customers they have. They suck. They should be embarrassed.
